Magnus envisions new position for Orji

Hey, phrasing,

I don’t particularly care to think about Magnus’ thoughts about  Orji positions. 

I mean, if new positions ain’t tried then it’s a waste of an Orji.

I always thought Tebow should have a go at LB. Understands offenses, big body, fiery persona/leader for the defense. And Orji gets compared to ol' Timmy so I think this could work.

Is not about cock and ass and tits and butthole pleasures. It's not about this rusty trombone, dirty Sanchez... th-the Cincinnati bowtie and the p*ssy-juice cocktail, and the... sh*t-stained balls. Its about love Its about connection.

All jokes aside I could envision a situation where he takes 1 or 2 years at QB here and then, pending results, depth chart, etc, either transfers out or switches positions (or continues to play QB). 

We have seen the benefit of a running qb to even out numbers in the run game, and I would love to see Orji in a "Belldozer" short yardage package type role. I could be wrong but we did something similar with Gentry where he was a QB his first year, saw the writing on the wall, and made the change. 

LB or big thumping TB

I would like to see a list of all his ratings for our recruits but I think you have to scroll through to find them all individually. 

I could see Harbaugh using him at LB while having goal line plays for him as a QB.  Dude is a truck.  He looks like he’s already spent 2 years in our strength program.

There is no such thing as god’s backdoor 

He can fullback, tight end, or wide receive, he's great at filling the "A" gap, can run the double reverse, and could truly be a two way player.

My prediction is the only pass he ever throws for us is on a fake punt out of the upback position.   Michael Barrett 2.0

Barret was a dual-threat qb in high school. I could see orji following in his footsteps.

I just want a fullback already. 

Even Desmond Morgan was a starting HS quarterback - and that man could thump! Hope this works out well for Orji whatever position he lands at. 

Watch his film. To me he is an elite RB.  looks better than Stokes.

51% pass completion in HS - we've seen how that plays out.  No way this guy is playing college QB.   Harbaugh called him Herschel Walker who could throw so it will be curious where that fits.  Maybe RB if not LB.

Wild guess: This shows how enchanted Harbaugh is with Haskins.  Hence their pursuit of the ASU guy, and this pick-up. 

I wonder if they have in mind some packages for Orji.  (No pun intended -- though I can't stop others from indulging.)  Wildcat and/or read-option type things, perhaps.

I think Sam had a segment on his recruitment. It sounded like they will give it a go on QB for him and possibly packages designed for him. His completion percentage improves, we might have something there. This is just my I interpretation of what he was saying. He did mention his brothers were LBs and he is built like one.

The next Michael Barrett.  He can throw passes on special teams to.   

One of his brothers is a really good linebacker for Vanderbilt.  So maybe if his brother forges a path to the pros playing linebacker then Orji will see it as a viable path if QB doesn’t work out.  I was really impressed by how much his brother was around the ball when Vandy played Miss. St.  

I’d guess his position path goes QB to LB and if LB doesn’t work out, I’d guess he turns into a fullback/HBack/Slot Back hybrid.

HS QBs are usually the best athletes on their teams, and you can typically find a lot of good athletes that just don’t have next level QB skill sets, but have high level football IQs and competitiveness.
