Only 15 minutes today. Number of tweets saying viewers saw him limping slightly. Also a number saying he was benched for playing poorly.

Other than Livers in recent memory, they've had pretty solid health.
I know how important Isaiah is to this team, but they have to quickly figure out some other options between now and the big dance.

The program has won 3 Big Ten titles, 2 BTT (and counting) and has been to 2 Final Fours (and counting) in the last decade. That’s a pretty good “curse” to live under.

No they didn't. And Livers sat on the bench and was standing in the locker room. He's hurt but not a broken foot.
You can stand on a stress fracture. You can play on a stress fracture, up to a point.
And they'd have to do an MRI to diagnose it (well, an x-ray would show it if it's gotten really bad), so if he had one they wouldn't have known yet in the locker room post-game.
Not saying that's what it is, just that what we saw doesn't prove anything.
He hasn't seemed right to me since he rolled the ankle against Illinois; watching today I assumed that's still what it was.

There are literally no legitimate reporters, including Chris Balas, reporting anything about Livers' health. Jeez, people just find any random tweet by any random fan and take that as fact. It's like QAnon level gullibility.
Balas posted on his forum that "pretty bad news for Michigan basketball" - so there certainly is something.

EDIT: I found the person claiming to have heard from Livers' family at mgoblog convincing. Wasn't making a lot of noise, expressed regret, didn't bother to argue. Authentic or a very committed hoaxter.

I dunno, it just seems weird. Livers was right in the middle of the little scuffle when Juwan got ejected, so he looked fine at that point. And I think Juwan said after the game that Livers needs to play better, which makes no sense if he’s hurt. Unless that was a fake quote, which it may have been.

What I want to know is: if Livers broke his foot or suffered a substantial injury in today's game... can someone who saw the game point to video evidence of this actually happening? Looked like he was moving fine in the highlights I saw. But I did not see the full game.

stress fxs are generally from overuse rather than a single event...
Livers got banged up a few times against IL and may have tried to play through it and it just got worse. Probably a stress fracture.

I hope it's not a stress fracture. I've had more than one in my foot while in the military. Makes it very hard to put weight on the foot without a lot of pain.

On a separate board, we keep track of all the predictions that he and his writers make. The hit rate is...uh...not good.
That said, he may get this one right but putting Chris Balas is on a pedestal for rumor accuracy is a fool's errand.
