Let's play a fun game. Guess which schools conspired against UM?
November 6th, 2023 at 5:33 PM ^
Everyone except NW
November 6th, 2023 at 5:34 PM ^
All of them.
I hate this fucking conference.
November 6th, 2023 at 5:35 PM ^
who are all of them, alex?
November 6th, 2023 at 6:06 PM ^
All of them, Katie!
November 6th, 2023 at 5:35 PM ^
I'd rather play 'how much is the M brand worth to another conference(s)'?
While I appreciate leaving the b1g is largely silly entertainment, I'm still considering it via the Clarett tweet about people going after Harbaugh because he's open to revenue sharing. Being in the b1g is worth millions, but could they get more for an all-sports deal with NBC (now that I had to get Peecock)? And how much would they be worth to the big 12 or ACC (both would increase M's basketball brand) on a 3-4 game football slate each year (like ND and the ACC)? Hockey could join the Bahstahns, wrestling would potentially suffer, but there's an argument for other sports (certainly softball and baseball) seeing a tick up given new geographic competition and seasons.
There is a business case to be made -- without it, leaving the b1g is never gonna happen -- and the singular draw of M (they are annually among the most valuable brands in all of college sports) could be worth analysis. But it has to be about the business case -- not just piss and vinegar.

I think I’m done with this. All hell is about to break loose and I’m going to confine my attention to the field. Grown ass people are literally conspiring to keep really good hard working kids from reaching their dreams for no damn reason at all. This is pathetic and honestly the BIG coaches and ADs that took this as far as they have should be ashamed of themselves, and so should the conference.
November 6th, 2023 at 5:39 PM ^
There's a reason why Herby & Urbs haven't piled on.
They know that The Ohio has more blood on their hands than any team not in the SEC.
November 6th, 2023 at 5:44 PM ^
Urban said the media is always wrong but did say it's bad if true. So he's just going to go with the media is wrong about all of this.
November 6th, 2023 at 5:46 PM ^
Urban Meyer has two faces: One face goes on Fox and says."I respect Jim Hargaugh and the Wolverines." The other face (the real one) goes to Columbus, walks into Cryin' Ryans' office and says, "I'll help you bring down Jim Harbaugh any way that I can."
November 6th, 2023 at 7:02 PM ^
Don't be too sure of this.
I've known people like Urban. One thing they do take joy in: seeing others fail where they succeeded. It makes them feel important. So while sure, he'd like OSU to win, he doesn't want them to win more (or even as much) as he did. Classic narcissist behavior.
November 6th, 2023 at 7:45 PM ^
Urban Meyer is the Bob Iger to Ryan Day's Chapek.
November 6th, 2023 at 8:06 PM ^
Dare I even ask who Kathleen Kennedy is in this analogy?
November 6th, 2023 at 9:11 PM ^
I'm sure OSU will be looking for her on Nov 26th.
November 6th, 2023 at 5:50 PM ^
Yeah was thinking the same...someone needs to check for Urban's dirty fingerprints on the docs...no, wait.. nevermind.
November 6th, 2023 at 5:58 PM ^
In the first few days I joked that it was Urban doing some Machiavellian scheme to get the OSU job back. It was a joke. I didn't mean it at all.
Now I'm not so sure if it's a lame joke or what's actually happening. I mean, it's so very likely not then case but imagine you're Urban and you want that job back. The fans want you back. How do you get it back?
With a little information, playing a stooge like Day and a little bit of help this is a way you could do it. That is IF Day has his hands on any of this TCU shit or PI firm shit.
November 6th, 2023 at 5:59 PM ^
Given where Urban sticks his fingers, glad it is not me having to check.
November 6th, 2023 at 5:42 PM ^
All of them lead by the teams that have an OSU coaching connection.
November 6th, 2023 at 5:45 PM ^
This is gonna be a hot take, but I doubt Michigan St even knew anything was going on. They seemed like they have a tough enough time decoding their own signs
November 6th, 2023 at 5:46 PM ^
If it turns out everyone basically shares with everyone, then I guess everyone.
But to the extent there's a coalition specifically directed against Michigan, I don't think Fleck or Ferentz are involved. Or NW.
November 6th, 2023 at 6:32 PM ^
get me everyone
what do you mean everyone?
EVERYONE!!!
phenomenal movie
November 6th, 2023 at 6:46 PM ^
This was the best scene of the movie. Logged in to upvote.
Fuck the big ten and OSU with a passion unknown to mankind!
November 6th, 2023 at 5:47 PM ^
Shocking but my guess on the coach that came forward, Luke Fickell. He's still bitter about Buckeye fans demanding Urban Meyer fire him.
Plus, "just for men" wouldn't hire him.
November 6th, 2023 at 5:50 PM ^
Fun fact: Ryan Day is a little bitch
November 6th, 2023 at 5:56 PM ^
Isaiah Hole reported two weeks ago:
“I actually spoke to a Big Ten source, who gave me a quote — if other people are out there sharing anonymous quotes and these ESPN and SI articles, I can too. So, here is what I learned, ‘Every Sunday, coaches and support staff with mutual connections throughout the conference contact each other to trade not just schematic notes, but also to trade signals. Some of the top teams who consistently trade signals and have very accurate information on common opponents are Michigan, Rutgers, Ohio State, Indiana, and Purdue. Other teams who are decent at it and would always look to trade are Illinois, Northwestern, Maryland, Minnesota, and Penn State. Wisconsin was oblivious to it but is likely no longer with the new staff. Michigan State, Iowa, and Nebraska appear to be oblivious and out of the loop.’
November 6th, 2023 at 6:19 PM ^
That last sentence really just applies all the time.
November 6th, 2023 at 5:56 PM ^
I have no doubt Sharty was involved,
November 6th, 2023 at 6:00 PM ^
OSU, MSU, Illinois and Penn State...then Purdue when they made the championship game last year.
Soft!
November 6th, 2023 at 6:57 PM ^
OSU and MSU are way too obvious
November 6th, 2023 at 6:01 PM ^
Screw this entire conference.
ACC or independent please.
November 6th, 2023 at 6:23 PM ^
Hasnt it already been confirmed that it was Ryan Day and his brothers who hacked into UM computers
November 6th, 2023 at 6:32 PM ^
In a row?
November 6th, 2023 at 6:35 PM ^
FUCK THEM ALLLLLLLL
November 6th, 2023 at 7:00 PM ^
Any chance OSU hacked into our computers nervous about stealing our signs and found the Stalions documents?
November 6th, 2023 at 7:06 PM ^
Are any of the colluding coaches formerly on the same team? Any interim advisers get in on this?
November 6th, 2023 at 7:11 PM ^
I want Harbaugh to do a Michael Corelone-Fredo re-enactment with Day.
November 6th, 2023 at 7:17 PM ^
Go back to November 25, 1973. Almost 50 years ago. A trip to Rose Bowl was in the hands of the ancestors of these assholes. Look how it went.
Illinois - went to third base
Michigan Staee - went to third base
Northwestern - went to third base
Ohio State - went to third base
Purdue - went to third base
Wisconsin - went to third base
Surprise surprise that these are the names being circulated in the media. Rutger is coached by a former colleague of third base.
Indiana, Iowa and Minnesota voted for us and I don't hear much from them.
Some things never change.
November 6th, 2023 at 7:51 PM ^
We know MSU is safe from getting their playbook stolen. All the pages are stuck together. MELLLLLLL Tugger!
November 6th, 2023 at 8:24 PM ^
Who do we know that was just fired for cause from their football program and is suing his university for unjust firing that wouldn't mind burning the place down? Yea that guy is probably leaking info to Michigan. I don't think Day would be involved with the conspiracy to steal Michigan's signals because I expect Ohio to have their own internal signal stealing department. Now, Day definitely hired his brother to build the evidence against Harbaugh.

When we win the Big Ten Championship, we shouldn't even show up to the trophy ceremony. Kneel it out and get on the bus home.
