Let's play a fun game. Guess which schools conspired against UM?

Let's have some fun with the break news from the AP. Anyone want to take a wild guess which schools were involved in passing around the spreadsheet of Michigan plays and signals?? Hmmm 🤔🤔🤔🤔🤔

I'd rather play 'how much is the M brand worth to another conference(s)'?

While I appreciate leaving the b1g is largely silly entertainment, I'm still considering it via the Clarett tweet about people going after Harbaugh because he's open to revenue sharing.  Being in the b1g is worth millions, but could they get more for an all-sports deal with NBC (now that I had to get Peecock)?  And how much would they be worth to the big 12 or ACC (both would increase M's basketball brand) on a 3-4 game football slate each year (like ND and the ACC)?  Hockey could join the Bahstahns, wrestling would potentially suffer, but there's an argument for other sports (certainly softball and baseball) seeing a tick up given new geographic competition and seasons.

There is a business case to be made -- without it, leaving the b1g is never gonna happen -- and the singular draw of M (they are annually among the most valuable brands in all of college sports) could be worth analysis.  But it has to be about the business case -- not just piss and vinegar.

I think I’m done with this.  All hell is about to break loose and I’m going to confine my attention to the field.  Grown ass people are literally conspiring to keep really good hard working kids from reaching their dreams for no damn reason at all.  This is pathetic and honestly the BIG coaches and ADs that took this as far as they have should be ashamed of themselves, and so should the conference.

In the first few days I joked that it was Urban doing some Machiavellian scheme to get the OSU job back. It was a joke. I didn't mean it at all.

Now I'm not so sure if it's a lame joke or what's actually happening. I mean, it's so very likely not then case but imagine you're Urban and you want that job back. The fans want you back. How do you get it back?

With a little information, playing a stooge like Day and a little bit of help this is a way you could do it. That is IF Day has his hands on any of this TCU shit or PI firm shit.

If it turns out everyone basically shares with everyone, then I guess everyone.

But to the extent there's a coalition specifically directed against Michigan, I don't think Fleck or Ferentz are involved. Or NW.

Shocking but my guess on the coach that came forward, Luke Fickell. He's still bitter about Buckeye fans demanding Urban Meyer fire him.

Plus, "just for men" wouldn't hire him.

Isaiah Hole reported two weeks ago:

“I actually spoke to a Big Ten source, who gave me a quote — if other people are out there sharing anonymous quotes and these ESPN and SI articles, I can too. So, here is what I learned, ‘Every Sunday, coaches and support staff with mutual connections throughout the conference contact each other to trade not just schematic notes, but also to trade signals. Some of the top teams who consistently trade signals and have very accurate information on common opponents are Michigan, Rutgers, Ohio State, Indiana, and Purdue. Other teams who are decent at it and would always look to trade are Illinois, Northwestern, Maryland, Minnesota, and Penn State. Wisconsin was oblivious to it but is likely no longer with the new staff. Michigan State, Iowa, and Nebraska appear to be oblivious and out of the loop.’

Go back to November 25, 1973.  Almost 50 years ago.  A trip to Rose Bowl was in the hands of the ancestors of these assholes.  Look how it went.

Illinois - went to third base

Michigan Staee - went to third base

Northwestern - went to third base

Ohio State - went to third base

Purdue - went to third base

Wisconsin - went to third base

Surprise surprise that these are the names being circulated in the media.  Rutger is coached by a former colleague of third base.

Indiana, Iowa and Minnesota voted for us and I don't hear much from them.

Some things never change.

Who do we know that was just fired for cause from their football program and is suing his university for unjust firing that wouldn't mind burning the place down?  Yea that guy is probably leaking info to Michigan.  I don't think Day would be involved with the conspiracy to steal Michigan's signals because I expect Ohio to have their own internal signal stealing department.  Now, Day definitely hired his brother to build the evidence against Harbaugh.
