LSU had it so good with Les Miles. Why would you fire him and then have a lot of time to think it over, and then...hire Ed Orgeron?

That one is a classic. LSU freek is the shizzle.

Michigan's non-conference opponents are looking bad.

Crazy stat from @JoedyAP: every school that employed Ed Orgeron last 22 years lost this weekend: LSU, USC, Tennessee, Ole Miss, Syracuse

Yes, thank you. Drives me insane when a coach tells the kicker to just boot it out of the endzone. If you fail to get an onside kick it's at worst 15 yards worth of field position.

Remember how everyone said Air Force had an amazing defensive coordinator? New Mexico just droped 56 on them.

Wilton Speight.
September 30th, 2017 at 11:16 PM ^
I won't defend Speight, but no one currently starting for the offense has shown much of an ability to execute what this offense is designed to execute. The issue doesn't begin or end with Speight. The defficiencies are just most obvious in his shortcomings.

in the SDSU game. They don't have much depth and may be in trouble rest of the year unless they get some guys back.

Because Bob Davie is a friggin' mastermind from the announcer booth to the football field. Second only to Mack (Justin Fyoo-EN-tay) Brown.

VT's hopes tonight. Now a lopsided game.

Michigan's inability to put together a good O-line is where all of the issues begin. That is more frustrating than anything QB-related in my eyes. It's a run-first offense that hasn't been able to consistently run the ball since Rodriguez was here.

Eventually we will come to an opponent - maybe Penn State or UW - where we may have to focus on misdirection and rolling pockets to get a W. Up to that point we can probably get away banging away except for an occasional play and still get wins while hopefully the O-line slowly improves.

Clemson looks really strong. I thought this was going to be a closer game.
September 30th, 2017 at 11:21 PM ^
Freshman QB vs. that defensive line was never going to go well. That's the best unit in the nation, with apologies to Gary, Hurst, and Winovich.
September 30th, 2017 at 11:29 PM ^
I think Michigan's D line is on par with Clemson's, actually. Plus Don Brown >>>> Brent Venables.
I didn't down vote you, BTW.

this weekend. Like UCLA's gold helmets better. Jedd looks comfortable on sideline, sadly.
September 30th, 2017 at 11:15 PM ^
Texas A&M is 4-1 with one REALLY bad loss to UCLA. 2-0 in the SEC.
Crazy, they're just a play from being undefeated.

OSU 56 Rutgers 0 (Should've just stayed in their dorms)
September 30th, 2017 at 11:19 PM ^
Rutgers has thus been outscored 286-0 in their last 11 halves of football against U-M, MSU, OSU and PSU.

Alabama just looks so much better than every other team. It's not even fun.
September 30th, 2017 at 11:22 PM ^
Michigan is a year away from taking them down.
September 30th, 2017 at 11:30 PM ^
Where is the sense of confidence, people?
September 30th, 2017 at 11:49 PM ^
Michigan would lose to Alabama by 40 right now, and given the development of the Oline, 30 next year.
September 30th, 2017 at 11:53 PM ^
This is silly, they'd beat us just like they beat another team with a crappy offensive line: 24-7.
September 30th, 2017 at 11:22 PM ^
They look like a generic Sun Belt team or something.
