Gattis deserves a little credit for 2021, but not as much as the Broyles Award would give. He deservedly got a B1G ring here for his efforts before Moore helped elevate the team to new heights. Credit where credit is due.
However, after seeing where both Gattis and McDonald ended up, it's my opinion that McDonald should have gotten the Broyles Award over Gattis.

If you are a college or NFL football program, would not hire that guy for anything. Dude is poison and clearly has thin skin (fighting with people on social media like a 16 year old).
When he eventually leaves your program, and if it ever becomes convenient for him he will throw your program under the bus (For any slight wrongdoing he ever witnessed while working their…he of course would never bring up a concern on the spot when he noticed…but would wait and use it later).
Everyone has worked with people like this or similar and they are never good for the organization.
