John Harbaugh breaks a little news

John Harbaugh is asked about Jim's situation and casually drops that everything has been gone through, including Jim's phone and computer and he's come through with flying colors.

Not surprising of course but it would seem to confirm that M is truly cooperating on that front.

Interesting question there at the end. Never even considered the possibility that they could watch the game together (at John's house in Baltimore?) if Jim is still suspended.

I think Michigan-adjacent "news" outlets should start posting rumored and completely false rules violations by rival and SEC teams AND should adamantly and universally assert that Tony Pettiti is a sex pest citing this post as an unnamed source.

Just keep making claims until something sticks. And if nothing sticks, demand punishment.

Yeah if we care about the rule of law we should be totally against what the NCAA did to Penn St. That was some pitch fork stuff. You dont enforce fair play but then also step into the field of policing horrific SA crimes. That was another mob moment where, extremely unpopular of me at the time, I had to ask "what the fuck are you doing?"

Mob rule will always trump unless called to account by the rule of law.  Say something enough and eventually facts don't matter.  That is close to where this is going.  People that don't like Michigan want to believe this is true.  ESPN and the like will gladly keep feeding the masses that have zero want or ability to ascertain the truth because they want to believe that JH is a cheating scumbag, they already knew it and this just "proves" it.

Once you are in a post truth environment nothing matters.  It is all bias and mob rule.  That is what Tony has invited.

Yeah.  No.

I've been spending WAY too much time arguing with people online about all of this.  You want to take the high ground.

What would be cool is:

1. Finding out who hired the PI firm.

2. Finding out who hacked into CS' files.

3. Finding out who leaked all of the information to the press drip by drip.

4. Releasing evidence of other coaches sharing information.  Establish that it is the same level of harm or worse.  (think about the players saftey!)  Put in rules against that (assuming it helps us more than hurts us.)

5. Get Pettiti fired for incompetence.  Seriously though.  What a shit show.

6. Get public apologies for all of that crap.

7.  Make sure Ryan Day stays at OSU no matter how much of that stuff he is "known" to have connections to.   I'm all for softee staying on.

It was only a gain of several million - after he held it for a few months.

So, in a down real estate market, he was able to earn a major windfall in a matter of months.

There has to be a section in the B1G By-Laws about bribery.. isn’t there?

Some clowns on Xitter were claiming earlier today that the NCAA was “offering immunity” to Michigan players in return for their testimony about in-person scouting.

Last night and today I saw lots of crap on Xwitter as well but everything I saw says it's about UM players and coaches gambling.  Some have gone as far to say that during MacDonald's tenure, UM was impossibly good ATS.  Insane.
