Some of you have militantly anti-religious attitudes. People like Mark Richt bring light and joy into the world. Put your sunglasses on and enjoy it

good guy. not trolling at all. one of his QB's who left UGA when richt left (son of a long time friend) has nothing but great stuff to say about him. i also wonder if he was never the champion of the SEC precisely because he was running a clean, or at least cleaner program than his SEC contemporaries.

but still easy choices when they are playing MSU and ND.
Go Blue! Beat Wisconsin!!!

Bucnuts last week and now the Irish tonight out of the playoff picture. Yes I said it. Both are out of the playoff picture! A November to remember! To all the tree loving bucnut trolls in the shadows reading this. You're gonna get yours.

SEC winner gets in. ACC Champ gets in. If Oklahoma loses Big XII title game, I could see them getting left out, but it would be interesting in that case if OSU wins B1G and it comes down to them and non-champ Oklahoma both having 2 losses each.

As much as it sucks watching OSU score a big victory like this, I have to deal with far more Sparties than Buckeyes. I'll take it

YES. I love seeing OSU lose, but being in Michigan the MSU fans are much more tolerable when they lose.

More like invisible. They disappear after they lose and don't say a word when they crawl back out.

this is so true. The handful of sparty buddies I have that I haven't blocked on social media are the first ones to start blasting texts after sparty does something good or we lose. Guaranteed I'll have multiple texts coming in. But yesterday, I didn't text them and laugh at them. Wanted to but someone has to be the adult in the relationship. And yes, several of them couldn't get in to michigan business school so they transferrred to state and now hold a grudge. typical.

Michigan had not underachieved against Sparty, some (several) would not be so obsessed with them
Sad actually
I am glad they lost as well, but topic worthy?
Geezh!

Anytime M wins, nd and sparty get trampled.

glorious day! Love seeing both those teams not just lose but get thrashed!

Gotta agree with huntmich: "When you move away from Michigan you lose a lot of the local shit posting that I'm sure stirs up anger. Try to distance yourself from that noise. It doesn't mean anything."
I find this to be very true. When not living in Michigan, I find much more in common with MSU, PSU, ND, and even OSU fans than not, and mostly good will.
Pretty glad the way things turned out (can't be too glad whenever Ohio State wins, except maybe a bowl game against an SEC/ACC team); but after living in CA and then abroad, I realized that in the minds of most people/recruits, etc. in the US and abroad, like it or not, Michigan is more often than not associated with our rust-belt rivals most (too much) of the time, and them being awful- on or off the field- doesn't really help us, and probably hurts or diminishes Michigan. It certainly diminishes any future victories over them. The narrative is more likely to be, "See, B1G/midwestern football is a joke; it's no longer relevant, except for maybe Ohio State."
Honestly speaking, I think even a lot of sports fans (myself included) have a hard time actually remembering whether it was North Carolina or North Carolina State in the recent academic scandals, and witness how we on this board assume the entire bag man SEC is all pretty much the same. Unfortunately that's how a lot of (most) people are elsewhere.
