Imagine being OSU
Imagine having to orchestrate an NCAA investigation because you are going to get blasted for the third straight year. Imagine having the best receiver in the country and still snapping pictures of empty seats in the crowd to try to avoid playing your biggest rival or have the game not count.
OSU sucks now. And all they can do is shadow-run an investigation because they are going to get embarrassed. And all of their fans support it. Scared. Very scared they are.

If Mike Leach was still alive and was the coach at OSU, he would not be a soft pansy and try to take Michigan down via the NCAA. He’d use the sign stealing to his advantage and lure Michigan into selling out for a certain play, and then exploit the undefended gaps on the field. But OSU is soft and won’t punch back harder. They just go crying to mom and expect someone else to fix the problem that they could fix on their own with appropriate thought and strategy.

Was thinking about Leach the other day and wishing he was alive...both because I really like him and he was funny, but also because he would tell it exactly how it is.
Everybody scouts everybody with film and is obsessively looking for an edge and looking into what every other staff is doing. This is Charmin Day conspiring with NCAA to defame Harbaugh and UM.
They'll get run over again this year, by 3 scores, and 3rd base will have more excuses.

You had me reading my post in his voice, and while it might be the gin, I found it funny.
I considered him more respectable than Meyer in the past and felt he got too much flack from sucknut fans, but I see no reason to refer to him as anything other than "Cryin' Ryan" now. He, along with that fanbase, has gone full little brother as of late.
It's funny how the tables have turned, no? They take a couple L's and it's like they've been wronged in some deep and profound way.

Don’t worry about OSU, let them whine and complain but just ignore them. I don’t think anyone is talking about not playing the game. It was just a few years ago they had a winning streak against us and we canceled a game with them - fine it was cancelled due to covid but there was a huge sigh of relief that we didn’t have to play that game.
Just avoid the mud that they want to drag you into. Say less. We can all agree their will be no sign stealing or cheating (or whatever excuse they want to use) this year, so let’s just see how it plays out on the field. Then when we blast them by 40, see what they have to say then. My guess is there will be lots of crickets and wait til next year comments.

Saw this on Michigan insider with Sam and Gardner. Very odd that Day cries about Dabo and Clemson stealing signs in 2020, turns around and cries about Georgia having cameras during the 2022 peach bowl practices, claims they knew Michigan was sign stealing In 2021, then says they changed their signals for the 2022 game to combat their loss to us the year before, the leaked pictures were from the 2021 osu game i believe they said.. and here we are.

Worst thread ever. Nice bulletin board material as well. OSU was a makeable field goal from winning the national championship last year. They would have beaten TCU. OSU is now even more fixated on beating us, and will show up with arguably the most intensively prepared game plan they have ever prepared, in every facet of the game.
Yet here you are, extrapolating that we will embarrass them after we beat a team that has lost 4 in a row by wide margins.
Pride comes before the fall, and if you don't mind, I'd like us to stay up here a few more years before mindsets like yours bring us back down.

I don’t really care what they think. They made excuses for losing before this all broke out and they’re going to make even more excuses now.
I don’t know what lies at the end of this road for Michigan, and if the coaches knew what was going on then any of them who did should be punished accordingly. But all that I know that should happen now, if nothing else, is to be even more committed to beating the ever loving shit out of OSU.
Will all the wins from this season and the years prior be vacated one day? Maybe. But if Michigan wins this year, there will be no sign-stealing excuses. There will nothing for them to hide behind. And OSU, it’s players and it’s fans will be left with the existential crisis of “Michigan beat us and didn’t need to steal signs to do it.”
Win that game, and whatever else happens this season…..happens.

At this point I’m just gonna support the players themselves. Our staff is fkd with a capital F. The players surely don’t deserve the scorn that’s coming and benefited next to none by any of this. When the balls snapped, their sacrifice in the weight room and countless hours practicing makes the difference, not Connor Stallions.
