Imagine being OSU

Imagine having to orchestrate an NCAA investigation because you are going to get blasted for the third straight year.  Imagine having the best receiver in the country and still snapping pictures of empty seats in the crowd to try to avoid playing your biggest rival or have the game not count.

OSU sucks now.  And all they can do is shadow-run an investigation because they are going to get embarrassed.  And all of their fans support it.  Scared.  Very scared they are.

This will go down as a legendary chapter in this storied rivalry. I hope in 10-20 years, this will be weird anecdote that we look back and laugh at.

Edit: this may or may not be my first double post ever. Pretty good for being here for I don't even know how long

That’s the most hilarious shit about all this. We lost how many years in a row? We all ate it because we knew they were a Death Star and just better than us.  Now tables have turned and they all cry ….Jesus man. Talk about soft. Apparently the whole school is soft

you guys are sissies

They all feel good about this and really just crystallizes how horrible that school is.

Jim is about to whoop your freakin ass Day and get you fired.

Maybe Michigan gets sanctioned. Maybe this causes Jim Harbaugh to leave. In the future those are all great things if you are OSU, but not for this year. This year if Michigan wasn't extremely motivated to slaughter OSU, they sure as heck are now. Talk about motivation. OSU sacrificed Ryan Day to Michigan in order to get our program in trouble, because he is walking the gallows in ann arbor. It's going to be brutal. I only meant this in a football sense.

This does feel like the rivalry has crossed a line that now extends well beyond the game. The escalation and toxic feelings and no stone unturned competition have led us to this. Maybe we crossed the final line through this scandal, or maybe they crossed the line by exposing us for something they are just as guilty of. Either way, barring some amazing new twist, we have lost the PR war and any semblance of moral superiority. If other teams, especially OSU were to get exposed in mass that would certainly help even the playing field. But maybe we really did build a bridge too far. Or maybe they are just better at covering their tracks. Either way, it’s a sad situation and distracts from the amazing team we have this year and all the hard work those in the organization who are innocent have done to get us to this place.
