Heavy Ball Movement to Michigan for 5* PF Isaiah Todd
Frankly i don't give a shit if their is a thread every 2 minutes in regards to this kid, because his commitment impact to Michigan tomorrow would be gigantic.
Late last night 2 more crystal balls came in to Michigan (on the heels of KU visit). Last night Evan Daniels, director of basketball recruiting for 247 put his in for Michigan at 9:17 pm (was on Kansas forever, then cloudy for a bit).
Then at 10:52 pm Josh Henschke of the MichiganInsider put his in.
This morning at 6:30 am, Sam Webb put his in to Michigan.
Michigan now has 79% of the crystal balls. Kansas has 7% and that was put in OVER 2 years ago!

In recent interviews he's stated that he's pretty set on going to college. Obviously that could be a smoke screen or change but it's better to get his commitment and find out than not.

Yes, but he has also acknowledged thinking about playing overseas. I'm hoping he recruits some friends to join him in Ann Arbor. That would obviously be huge for the class, but also signal he's planning to stick and give him more reasons to ultimately do so.

Decommitments are less common in college basketball than in college football (though they're more common than they used to be). But once Todd pulls the trigger, Howard will go into retention mode. If he can land Todd after having recruited him for less than 5 months (and without having coached a single game as a head coach at any level), then I have no doubt that he can hold on to him.
Of course, having a solid first season would help a lot.

If I recall correctly, there was plenty of evidence that showed Najee was seriously considering coming to Michigan, but on the national scale, many still believed he was firmly Bama. The Crystal Balls here shows that the national folk are buying into the interest as well.
