Yeah, I was there as well with my wife… she got me tix for Xmas… we actually didn’t get a single bad word said to us and let’s just say we were in the blue collar section… I had all my Michigan attire on and so did she… we ate at roosters before the game, it was packed… not a negative word said to us. I started to feel the tensions get high right when we made our run in the second half to tie it up at 39…but I was expecting some hostility and was shocked to get absolutely zero. I dunno, I’ve been told I have an intimidating look… but that’s never stopped Ohio fans before… either way a Win was awesome… hell I even joked with some of the fans when they overheard my wife say “I’m gonna go to the bathroom when the 4th quarter starts” OK babe, I’ll be right here in this seat when ya get back! Anyways GO BLUE! Great win!
the answer to this is Kitty's on 3rd street in Cincinnati. Kitty's is 100% a Michigan Bar and is extremely close to the Reds Stadium. The owner will be smoking wings etc. as well... it is the only Michigan Bar I know of. 100% the only place I can watch THE GAME in Ohio.
I've played a lot of places, a lot of places that are currently Mentioned (Harbor Town, Chambers Bay, TPC Scottsdale and Sawgrass etc.) We Ko Pa In Scottsdale, AZ is incredible, if you ever get the chance, play the desert course... (Cholla Course). also, don't sleep on Michigan courses! Jack's place at Benton Harbor is so damn perfect! everything is in amazing condition... and then yeah, Arcadia Bluffs is flat out awesome! Michigan Weather and then on the Coast... allows for such amazing summer golf...

But the athleticism of this team is pretty phenomenal and I’ve never seen a college team like that personally... our leadoff hitter is a linebacker... they all can move and their first steps on the bases and on defense are pretty flat out amazing. Keep going Men! This is an absolute treat of a lifetime!!! Go Blue!
I live in "Enemy Territory" and all of the buzz today is how they are going to discredit the victim. Apparently in a 66 day period she called 911 like over 100 times and in a 24 hour period called it 23 times. Also they're stating that it's going to come out that she too is an alcoholic and has 3 DUI's... I've googled both of these and have seen zero information that backs this up... but there is a lot of misguided priorities down here to say the VERY least... The idea that they are going to demonize the victim just is... wrong.
Well, I think Urban basically called out Mcmurphy too... when he stated at B10 Media Day "Don't know who makes up these stories" I think that was the catalyst for Mcmurphy absolutely taking this full steam ahead in the days following Urban's comment. Not saying he wouldn't have pressed forward anyways, but Mcmurphy stated on ESPN that his reporting ethics was questioned by Urban.
Wouldn't you want to invest with companies that are or employ University Alum? So it's only ethical to invest with companies that are either 1. Not a donor to the university (which I would then question the success of their business and loyalty or 2. not a Michigan Alum? If the 102 million we invested suddenly loses 40 Million dollars for bad management, then there should be a red flag... but otherwise, we are working with our alum to increase the wealth of our Endowment. I don't personally see an issue here...
And to add to that, IF Harbaugh is the type of individual we think he is... he hasn't accomplished anywhere near to what he wants to accomplish here at UofM. While I love where we're headed... we haven't won our division, we haven't won our conference and we haven't been in the playoffs, let alone win the whole thing!!! This is what Jim signed up for, to take Michigan to championship games... to be truly elite again. We're not there yet, we're CLOSE... but not there. I'm imagining that the recruits have been told this many times over... but Harbaugh strives to be the best... he's got some work still left to do here!
I had the same meal plan that Trey had while I was an Athlete at Michigan... we ate JUST FINE... The food was good and heck, SQUAD and West Quad were all Buffets... the Breakfast at West Quad with the made to order omelette was amazing and the only thing that got me through Saturday AM practice... I wish I would have done it all 4 years. The basketball team and football team, i think had some extra additions on their plans as i can remember anyways... he's doing this for the whole pay for play thing that he's trying to support. We were all poor college athletes, that's the way it's supposed to be in college, might not have been the way some Michigan students lived, but that's life. We ate JUST FINE. College was a privilege and should be looked that way. GO BLUE!
Over the Rhine is the place to eat. Pontiac has the best wings in town, The Eagle has amazing Fried Chicken (yes, fried chicken... if you go, you're welcome). The Senate is Gourmet Hot Dogs which you can't eat by hand. Bakersfield, many of you know, but is also right there on the same street (ALL have fully stocked bars and taps). If you're going to stay down by the arena, Yard House has a million beers and decent food. I hope you all have a blast here and it equals some Michigan W's...
