After the news that Phat Phat Brooks has affirmed his commitment, this is unfortunate news. Anderson has been one of the most prolific scorers and shooters in the country and matches the type of player that seems like he would’ve been an impactful player who isn’t an NBA flight risk. I assume that he and May had a discussion and they parted ways

If either Anderson or May decided to go in another direction I'm perfectly fine with it.  Things change, re-evaluate and make a fresh decision as to what's best for you.

This is the one that I really want to stay in Dusty’s offense. Kid has gotten better and better and can shoot the lights out. He will be a sniper for some team if we can’t reel him back in

Wish him well.  He committed early and hasn't wavered until now.  It's understandable he has to reevaluate things.  I'm optimistic that May will get the guys he needs to get things moving in the right direction.

If he's a good fit, then there is still time to recruit him back.  If not, it wasn't meant to be.

Wish him luck.  Not sure he was going to be a great fit at UM with the coaching change so probably best for everyone involved that he finds a suitable spot.

This is Dusty’s program now. If this kid isn’t buying what Dusty is selling, that’s fine. I’m all good with completely wiping the slate clean and starting everything over.
