He’s not close to 6’1. He’s…

He’s not close to 6’1. He’s also very slight of build (smaller than Dig was in high school) I never made another comment about him. I’ve watched multiple games of his in EYBL scholastic play, he’s not a good athlete and since you watched him at Oak Hill you must’ve seen his complete lack of ability (and desire) to play defense as well.

If you read somewhere he’s 6…

If you read somewhere he’s 6’1 you should be immediately skeptical of any information from that source. Hes smaller than Dug and not near the athlete

I’ve watched him play multiple times, he’s not close to 6’1 ,  save the lecture about getting “facts straight” when you clearly don’t

No the odds are still low…

No the odds are still low. There hasn’t been a single account of documented spread from one team to another.  With the 100’s of games that have been played to this point thorough out CFB and the NFL , it would make the statistical probability very small

Why would they have to find…

Why would they have to find another weekend?  Wisconsin will be able to play likely by next week let alone 3 weeks away?

There’s no such thing as “asymptomatic myocarditis”.   Symptoms are essential  to diagnose it.

Spring won’t work, they…

Spring won’t work, they cancelled the season under the guise of player safety, they’re not going to play 2 season in a year for multiple reasons.
The product would be severely watered down.  They’d  have draftable players sitting as well as under classmen not wanting to waste a year of eligibility on an exhibition season. Many wouldn’t want to risk injury that would effect their availability for the fall 21’ when an actual season would resume.  A minor injury could linger for multiple months limiting prep for the fall or even keep kids out for a period of time.  ACL Tear in a normal season would still have the player back the following year, if that happens in the spring they’re not making it back for any of the fall 21’ season

The NFL won’t change the draft because they’d have zero reason to do so.  The timing of the draft fits into the NFLs league year which was collectively bargained with the players union so changing it isn’t as easy as you make it seem.

The recovery period is not nearly long enough for the players.  They’d have no offseason.  When the season would be finishing they’d immediately transition into pre season S&C programs with “voluntary workouts”. There’d be no down  time.  Again the cancellation was do to “player safety”, no way they’d ignore the player safety risk of 2 season in a calendar year.

A spring season is not…

A spring season is not viable .  A watered down spring season where many college stars don’t play followed by a watered down shortened fall season is a terrible idea.  Just wait until fall 21’

The thought of a spring…

The thought of a spring season is monumentally stupid.  A watered down season where many kids won’t play and nothing to play for is not a good move and that would spill over to the fall 21’ with no off season.  The level of play would be sub par at best, and player safety would be a way bigger concern than with covid.  Really the thought is just idiotic.  It’s probably all moot anyways the virus will be here in late January when camp would have to start, an available vaccine is not happening that soon

If that’s the case, it…

If that’s the case, it really sucks there’ll never be a reliable vaccine.

Lol doubtful.  The thought…

Lol doubtful.  The thought of a vaccine this soon (maybe ever) against a type of virus that’s never had a reliable safe vaccine is a pretty “pie in the sky” type scenario.

20’ was a very good class,…

20’ was a very good class, however most recent memory was being burnt by 2 5 stars one at a HUGE position of need. The 21’ class needs to be even better (certainly much bigger) than the 20’ class with needs pretty much everywhere wouldn’t you say? Can’t afford to be burnt that bad again.

Tough position to be in with…

Tough position to be in with the need to fill over half of the roster, hopefully they don’t get burned again when a signing period rolls around.

Any thoughts on how long it…

Any thoughts on how long it may be until they actually land somebody?  They’ve got half of the roster to fill for 21’

The culture and roster left…

The culture and roster left behind is better than last place in big ten. Juwan has a hand in the teams problems, let’s stop with this “what is supposed to do there’s no talent” take its garbage.
Saying that it’s way too early to come any type of definitive conclusion on Juwan as a head coach. I don’t blame Howard for the Simpson suspension at all, anyone who is doing that is a fool.

I could see Franz, Johns,…

I could see Franz, Johns, Castleton, and DDJ spending some time in the league with development (which has been lacking).  Stop making every excuse possible to prop up Juwan here.  He deserves some blame right now this isn’t a bottom 2 roster. The “he has no talent nothing he can do” take is incredibly lazy and intellectually dishonest. Again IF he needs elite talent to not be one of the worst teams in the conference this program is in serious trouble moving forward.

This roster is better than…

This roster is better than last place in the big ten even without Livers, it’s ridiculous to say otherwise.  You can’t just say “what’s he supposed to do? We lack talent”. It doesn’t work that way, Juwan shares some blame for the lack of performance here and it’s ok to admit it. Him throwing his hands up because he doesn’t have elite talent isn’t a viable strategy.  Frankly if he needs a roster full of 4 and 5 stars to be top ten in the big ten that’s a HUGE problem. (I’m not saying he does, but he needs to get more out of what he has on the floor right now, bottom of the big ten is unacceptable)

He’s under .500 in games…

He’s under .500 in games against high major competition.  He deserves some blame here, not all in the least but this roster is better than one of the worst in the Big Ten.  it’s ok to admit he’s not perfect

Yea as soon as Juwan gets…

Yea as soon as Juwan gets elite talent he’ll take this team to a top ten conference finish.  He can’t do it with this roster and it’s measly 7 4 stars, no one could do any better with that talentless bunch

Yea let’s just bash the…

Yea let’s just bash the roster. Juwan is obviously a great coach and infallible.  He just needs a roster of elite talent to get this team to top 10 in the Conference.

Id agree if people are…

Id agree if people are solely looking to blame Howard that’s absurd.  But I also see a lot of people trying absolve Howard of any blame at all for the poor defensive performance in B1G play, and at time struggling offense which is equally absurd.  There are plenty of issues on the coaching staffs end that need to get cleaned up / figured out, he’s the head man and he needs to figure it out quick or this team could lose all the momentum from November and be on the outside looking in come March.

“What the hell is supposedly…

“What the hell is supposedly to have developed”. I’d say the guys currently in his program.  There hasn’t been a ton noticeable development from last year to this. There’s been some improvement from a few but regression as well

LOL a photo hahahahaha. Ill…

LOL a photo Wow. Ill say this as nicely as possible, one thing is abundantly clear to me is you absolutely no idea what you’re talking about.  X is by far the most important player on this team and it’s not close. Take him off the roster and they’re not making the post season what so ever.  Ask any expert that watches UofM at all and they’ll tell you the same thing. So do yourself a favor never comment on Basketball again until you develop a clue.

Sorry man giving up over 1.1…

not sure why pointing out that the team has been awful defensively makes so many here upset.  The team is much better than the way it’s been playing over the last month, it can’t all be explained away by Juwan just not having his guys.   He’s struggling as is the team and staff as a whole.

Sorry man giving up over 1.1…

Sorry man giving up over 1.1 PPP in B1G play is awful. UofM is ranked 13th in the B1G in defensive efficiency.  Calling that out as awful isn’t “overly negative” (LOL) it’s the truth.  Not sure why you seem to be offended by it.  This roster is plenty good enough without Livers to be better than that

They’re not gonna make the…

They’re not gonna make the postseason at all (NCAA, NIT,etc.) if they give half of X’s minutes to DDJ.  They’ll be battling Northwestern and Nebraska for the 12th seed in the B1G tourney.

Sitting X for DDJ is a…

Sitting X for DDJ is a recipe to getting blown out.  You cant take the only consistent creator of offense for others out of the game, and put in an ok shooter, marginal at best defender who’s not a creator with a 1:1 assist to turnover ratio and expect better results.  Sitting X to give him a break would be nice though he can’t continue to play 35-40 minutes every game, he’ll get burnt out.

Let me know the last time…

Let me know the last time PSU beat us Crisler.

A bitterly disappointing…

A bitterly disappointing year if that were to happen.  Plenty of talent to make the tourney but something’s missing. Guys haven’t played to their potential but coaching has been a disappointment to say the least

Fully agree he’s not a 20…

Fully agree he’s not a 20 shot type player, but look whe he’s shooting, only after others have been missing the good looks he creates for them, then the become tentative and pass up good looks.  It forces x to make something happen. X isn’t the problem on O it’s laughable to suggest it.  Take him off this team and you’re in much worse shape, the team probably wouldn’t even be NIT bound

Let me know when Todd makes…

Let me know when Todd makes it to campus LOL.  Regardless Doesn’t change the likelihood of the inevitable step back next year

That 22-3 record was nice…

That 22-3 record was nice thanks for reminding me.  No shame in losing to PSU at home after you’ve racked up a bunch wins.  Losing to PSU at home when you desperately need a win is another story

If you take X off the court…

If you take X off the court there’s no way this team makes the NIT.  He’s by far the most valuable player on the roster and it’s not close

Lol there’s a really  good chance this team is worse next year. They may lose there top 3 scorers from this year, and a guard rotation of DDJ, Brooks, and a freshman Zeb doesn’t inspire much confidence.

Fine as in bubble team? …

Fine as in bubble team?  They need help next year in the back court and wings.  If this team has the year we all hope it does Livers will probably be off to the NBA.  2021 will have to be a large class with 2-3 guys that play at a really high level from the start.
