Friday WifeDay Weekend PosBANG

Submitted by The Fugitive on

It's Friday which means it's time to do the deed. Mount up!

Wifeday is tomorrow - what are you doing to appease their wishes (besides the aforementioned coitus)?

Got a VIP ticket to "Half Way There" a beer festival in Tampa Bay celebrating being half way to Tampa Bay Beer week.  50+ breweries with a lot of rare and special beers on tap.  I will be there at 2pm and should be blind drunk by 6pm.

When I heard about the festival, I checked Michigan's schedule.  As soon as I saw it was a bye week, I bought a ticket.

Thinking about having a BBQ Saturday or Sunday. Wish I had the skills and grills of GoBlueBBQ, but will probably stick to burgers and brats, maybe some pork chops.

Pedal bike car through Ann Arbor tonight...after I fix the lawn entirely. Aerated this morning, needing to add top soil, seed, fertilizer, and milorganite this afternoon.....then trimming the day lillies and hastas for the winter when the toddler I am watching all day has a nap.

I mean, I'd argue I deserve a bang or two.

For the first time in ten years, I remembered our anniversary first this morning! But, as we learned from Paul the Apostle (or one of those guys), love is not proud. But I'm a little proud, and I had my fist triumphantly raised in the air while my wife and I shared a kiss after my "happy anniversary."

Can go to kids' swim meet and soccer games without trying to simultaneously watch the game on my phone!!  My pea brain will get a break this weekend!

Enjoy the weekend friends!!

I did that last year with the wife, but we only had a team of 10! It's a pretty good race, though there are some really shitty roads to run at night (potholes at night can really mess with an ankle).

Good luck! Heavy up on the protein and carbs. Just make sure to eat what you normally do. Don't get adventurous with your diet!!

Second wife day as a married man. Will be going around Grand Rapids seeing ArtPrize, stopping off at bars for beers (will be looking at TVs the whole time). All in all not a bad way to spend WifeDay 2017
