I feel like playing either Washington or Oregon would be like playing TCU last year, explosive offense that's hard to stop. Oregon definitely doesn't look as scary as I thought they were so far though

I would love to play a TCU-clone again. I feel quite confident JJ doesnt spot UW/OR two pick-sixes, and we fumble at the goal-line on our 3rd drive of the game.

We could not get key stops in the second half when we needed to. We were not quite the defense we thought we were coming out of the Big Ten.

We always think that and then when there is some head to head competition (like us against TCU) we realize that one of the reasons those defense are so "bad" is that the offenses they face are so good.

I have wondered the same thing, I saw a few plays where Johson didn't put his in against the Fuckeyes, which i thought was a no-go in college. Also, all year Brian Branch for the Lions has had his stuck in his helmet like a frigging antenna and nobody seems to care... so, I have no idea what the mouthguard requirements are anymore.

I’m only rooting for them because I lived in Seattle for 13 years and my wife went to grad school there. I don’t think they are 10.5 points worse than Oregon. (Though I do think M matches up better against UW than Oregon just based on styles of play)
