Football visitors this weekend
Michigan is getting some interesting visitors this week, even if it's not a big list.
One is 5-star quarterback Dante Moore, which is huge for Michigan, as he's really the only QB they're pursuing.
Another interesting prospect is Warren (MI) De La Salle QB Brady Drogosh, a 6'5", 200-pounder who runs a 4.6 forty. If Michigan whiffs on Moore and needs to take a project of a QB in 2023 before (hopefully) going hard after C.J. Carr in 2024 (not that they're slow playing Carr, but Moore is the big fish right now), Drogosh could be the guy. He's got offers from a few Big Ten schools already.
There are a few other guys coming in this week, too. Here's the LINK if you're interested.
Brady Drogosh
Magnus, What's his interest level in UM?
His interest level is that he woke up early the day after winning the state championship to go to the Michigan-OSU game
Is that really interest, I would have done that after root canal surgery. Hell Domani Jackson came all the way from California for that game.
Now that's the level of interest we're looking for and the proper context for that statement!
I watched the Drogosh highlights and still can't tell if he can pretend to make a zone read and then hand the ball off every time.
That's very mean...but very funny!!!
Thought i read Moore is no longer visiting this weekend? Is he back on? or was that a false report?
Touch the Banner says he is visiting this weekend
You know Magnus IS Touch The Banner, right?
That's the joke.
Yeah, his visit was canceled. My bad. These visitor lists are always fluid.
Was Harbaugh really at the Masters last weekend instead of on campus recruiting? I saw Charles Jagusah's interview where he mentioned he didn't even talk to Harbaugh on his visit (at least Sayin was able to get on the phone with him).
I think they will push for Carr to reclassify to 23 if they miss on Moore. That would enable them to take Carr and a guy like Drogosh in 23 followed by another elite in 24
There is absolutely no reason to push Carr to reclassify at this time.
If we miss on Moore? I agree not until that happens (if it does). Based on Moore's reaction to State taking a nobody QB, he clearly wants to be the only QB in his class
Agreed. Michigan has somebody for 2022, and McCarthy should be sticking around for 2023 either way. I don't think McNamara will be at Michigan in 2023; he'll either move on to the NFL or go somewhere where he has a job all to himself.
Then you would have a freshman Carr in 2024, a transfer, or a third- or fourth-year player in Orji, Denegal, or Warren.
Having, in 2024, a QB room of a RS junior Warren, RS sophomores Orji and Denegal, RS freshman Drogosh and freshman Carr is doable. With, perhaps, JJ returning for his senior year-going for back-to-back-to back natties :) (Edit: I think these classifications are correct???)
Jordan Morant is the portal now
Granted, high light reel, but he looks pretty good.
Drogosh is a legit. Has been getting some pretty solid offers recently and is a huge Michigan fan

Wow Drogosh looks like a winner.
The kid has great measurables. 6’4” with 4.65 speed and really good running instincts. 200lbs with a frame to add weight. He looks accurate with good arm strength and 61% completion rate.
I would be really happy to see him at Michigan.
Thanks as always Magnus. Let's keep Dante home!
The last Moore to come to M made an immediate impact at safety.
Moore is a near ND lock, so we better have other options.
Says who?
Says Jimmyisgod. His name is right above his comment. Sheesh.
😊
Just because ND fans are spamming everywhere thar he’s a ND lock doesn’t mean it’s true. They lead but it’s not like they’re lead is insurmountable
He probably is a strong ND lean - right now. The big advantage - in recruiting - that those a-holes have is a new, young coach that is generating a lot of excitement with the recruits. It happens at quite a few blueblood schools going through a coaching change. Keep in mind, Freeman has never been a HC before. I think he's going to find out - along with their delusional fans - it's a lot more difficult on the field than on paper. Let's find out what happens to their recruiting after they get curb stomped a few times this year by teams like Clemson, USC and OSU
When it comes to my hate factor for a program, I rate them up there with OSU. The Suckeyes are #1 with ND #1a. The problem with ND is their "holier than thou" attitude and being better than everyone else.
Funny how some fan bases say the same thing about us.
Communist propaganda.
It appears that Moore is not visiting UM this weekend. Well, not the UM in Michigan at least.
Yeah I saw that on 24/7 too. Any clarity on this for us Magnus?
Yeah, his plans changed and he's no longer visiting. My bad.
No problem. It happens. Doesn't bode well for Moore winding up in Michigan though...
So Michigan is Drogosh's dream school? May as well stop recruiting him now it isnt happening.
Drogosh is a legit athlete and a solid arm not an elite arm. Fantastic feet and quicks, if Moore wants ND, Drogosh is a very solid pick up.

Michigan should recruit the most explosive running QB available. OSU is not currently constructed to stop the run. Go all in on read option. The old down hill Urban Meyer option attack is ironically what OSU is not ready for right now. Need an Anthony Richardson @ Florida type. Orji was a nice start.
I really hope we get Dante Moore. One of the most talented kids at QB in years in our backyard.
Wiltfong CB'ed Devan Houstan and Sam Pendleton to ND today 😕
Anyone see CJ Carr CB’d to ND?
