OSU is behind: Georgia, Michigan, Washington, Oregon, Florida State, Alabama, and Texas. There’s no way they jump enough teams to be 4. A 1-loss conference champion will be ahead of a 1-loss non-conference champion.
November 25th, 2023 at 7:31 PM ^
That's why Bama winning was nice. Keeps them in front of OSU.
November 25th, 2023 at 8:13 PM ^
OSU could easily be in front of Bama. They just lost to the #2 team, on the road, by 6 in a tight game.
Bama got smoked by Texas and needed a miracle to be Auburn.
Hell, I think OSU should be ahead of Bama right now. No question.
November 25th, 2023 at 7:23 PM ^
Washington, losing like this at home...
November 25th, 2023 at 7:23 PM ^
Love me some Cougar Gold
November 25th, 2023 at 7:26 PM ^
We want this Husky team at the Rose bowl right?
November 25th, 2023 at 7:27 PM ^
I would prefer FSU, personally (unless the backup QB is somehow really good). Remember what happened the last time Michigan played Penix?
November 25th, 2023 at 7:49 PM ^
Touche. I just rather avoiding UGA or Oregon in the semi. But, Iowa first
November 25th, 2023 at 7:27 PM ^
Coug you gotta run there!
November 25th, 2023 at 7:28 PM ^
Ward should have ran the ball there.
November 25th, 2023 at 7:29 PM ^
Heck of a run by Ollie Gordon.
November 25th, 2023 at 7:30 PM ^
OK State fails the two point conversion. BYU ball, 2OT.
November 25th, 2023 at 7:31 PM ^
Washington may be this year’s TCU. Though not sure they get by Oregon
November 25th, 2023 at 7:33 PM ^
Husky Bob goin’ crazy here
November 25th, 2023 at 7:33 PM ^
OK State strips BYU, ball game. Under review, but should be confirmed.
November 25th, 2023 at 7:34 PM ^
At the end of the day we’ll be playing a pretty good team regardless
Assuming we beat Iowa.
November 25th, 2023 at 7:35 PM ^
DeBoer is my hero for that.
November 25th, 2023 at 7:36 PM ^
Gutsy call by UW on 4th down inside their own 30.
November 25th, 2023 at 7:36 PM ^
Ballsy call by Washington there.
November 25th, 2023 at 7:37 PM ^
An end around on 4th and 1, and then a roughing call? WSU's gonna lose this almost as spectacularly as Auburn lost...
November 25th, 2023 at 7:37 PM ^
WSU had the pick. Refs gave UW a gift with the roughing the passer call.
November 25th, 2023 at 7:37 PM ^
Awful roughing call there, let em play ref
November 25th, 2023 at 7:38 PM ^
Penix sold that one and the refs bought it.
November 25th, 2023 at 7:38 PM ^
After watching the rivalry games today against bad teams, what UM did today with all that going on for the program is unbelievable.
November 25th, 2023 at 7:39 PM ^
Why is UW still throwing it. Just run the clock and kick the FG!
November 25th, 2023 at 7:42 PM ^
Their kicker has been struggling.
November 25th, 2023 at 7:42 PM ^
Just dumb. Nearly threw two picks. Then takes a sack when they could have run and then called timeout.
November 25th, 2023 at 7:44 PM ^
Nice fake by Washington there though.
November 25th, 2023 at 7:41 PM ^
Let's go Coooooooooogzzzzzzz
November 25th, 2023 at 7:42 PM ^
Jesus, Michael Penix is trying really hard to lose this game. Why are they even calling pass plays?
November 25th, 2023 at 7:53 PM ^
Pad stats for his Heisman campaign.
November 25th, 2023 at 7:42 PM ^
What is UW doing?
November 25th, 2023 at 7:43 PM ^
Boo...
I love college football, but I needed some chaos with both Auburn and WSU winning close games that shouldn't have been close. Damn chalk...
November 25th, 2023 at 7:45 PM ^
Why? Chaos is exactly what's needed for OSU to back into the CFP.
November 25th, 2023 at 7:44 PM ^
Damn. UW has had some close wins down the stretch. Gonna be interesting to see if they can hang with the Ducks in Vegas.
November 25th, 2023 at 7:44 PM ^
U-Dub survives on a last second field goal.
November 25th, 2023 at 7:45 PM ^
Gators score
UF 7 - FSU 0.
November 25th, 2023 at 7:48 PM ^
Tebow night...gag me
November 25th, 2023 at 7:47 PM ^
I can't figure Washington out. They looked like a dominant, well-oiled machine the first 5 weeks but they've struggled every week for the last 6 weeks. Those games included a 15-7 win over a dog crap Arizona State team, giving up 33 points to a dog crap Stanford team and an ugly 22-20 win over a so-so Oregon State team. You could almost give them a free pass for their performance today because it was a rivalry game but WSU won't be going to a bowl game. On paper, this game shouldn't have even been a contest.
Penix meanwhile is a stud. But lately he could complete a 60-yard bomb and then throw 3 near interceptions in a row.
November 25th, 2023 at 7:51 PM ^
PAC 12 is really good this year.
November 25th, 2023 at 7:57 PM ^
Fair point. I don't think anybody expected the conference to look this good. But Penix is now playing equally amazing and stupid. Many careless passes into traffic that should be picked off.
November 25th, 2023 at 7:51 PM ^
Jackets appear to have the strip. Need to watch many commercials to confirm
November 25th, 2023 at 7:53 PM ^
FSU is imploding.
November 25th, 2023 at 7:57 PM ^
Georgia doesn't feel alive until they get punched in the face, apparently.
November 25th, 2023 at 8:01 PM ^
I think Ga Tech’s only hope is to be +5 on turnovers. Defense seems to be a sieve after first series.
November 25th, 2023 at 8:03 PM ^
Florida having their way with FSU right now. Up 10-0.
November 25th, 2023 at 8:03 PM ^
Georgia - Alabama and Oregon-Washington are both seemingly CFP play-in games.
Michigan is likely in.
So 4th is? FSU ( if they win out), Georgia (if they lose), Washington (if they lose) or OSU.
November 25th, 2023 at 8:09 PM ^
Texas
November 25th, 2023 at 8:23 PM ^
Texas beat Bama in Tuscaloosa, so a one-loss champion Texas has got to be ahead of a one-loss champion Bama.
November 25th, 2023 at 8:06 PM ^
Poor Cougs. Kalen DeBoer with the biggest balls on a coach.
Auburn with the biggest fail since.. Auburn two years ago snatching defeat from the jaws of victory and denying Aiden Hutchinson his Heisman. I'm beginning to hate Auburn. They could have helped shut the SEC out of the playoff.
