Auburn up 21-20 on Bama in the 4th. Washington is tied with Washington St in the Apple Cup at halftime. FSU has Florida and then Georgia prob with a snoozer against Ga Tech

Thank you. Was just going to start this since no one else had.

What do we need to happen to make sure OSU doesn't backdoor into the playoffs again this year?

  • Pac12 champ is in ahead of OSU
  • Michigan is in ahead of OSU
  • Georgia needs 1 win to be in ahead of OSU (favored by 24.5 vs GaTech)

Then, one of the following three needs to happen

  • Texas wins next week vs OU/OklaSt
    • OklaSt if it beats BYU, but BYU is leading 24-21
  • Florida St wins both vs Florida & Louisville (maybe 50/50 w Travis out)
  • Bama wins today & SEC Champ game (Bama down 24-20 to Aub right now)

Also, if Wash wins today (up 21-14 vs WashSt) but loses to Oregon, they'd have an argument w fellow one-loss non-champ OSU  (but I'm guessing that would go to OSU).

I can't believe there would ever be an occasion where I could conceivably cheer for the disgusting, greasy, piece of shit football program that is the Auburn Tigers, but Alabama does exist, so destroy Alabama!

Guess I can ask this here instead of starting a new thread. Who do you least want Michigan to face in the CFP and in what order? Mine would be Georgia, then Oregon. Not concerned over anyone else.

Have you watched Oregon play? They are legit. I think they are going to beat Washington and be in.

I think Bo Nix is a tough matchup for us and their WR speed. I think Washington is very good, but a better matchup, and would prefer to get them.

I can't imagine FSU being left out if they win out, but I do think they'd be #4.

Yeah I think Oregon is a top 2-3 team in the nation.  Have said that even after the Washington loss.  Their coach went full Dan Campbell on the road in terms of taking all sort of chances - all of which went south.  Want no part of them unless in the final.

Will replay Washington next week on a neutral field.  I am happy to be wrong but both teams have great offenses but Oregon has an actual defense unlike Washington.

Bama and Washington in close rivalry games in doubt unlike Michigan which was an easy win.

On a serious note I think Oregon is going to run train on Washington next week, they are a top 4 team.

Would love to see "Thorne is so scared of competition from 3 other elite QBs so left MSU" beat Bama and Washington "no defense" to lose this week.  Been a total lack of upsets last month outside of OSU beating PSU.

If Michigan had lost today, are we getting in?  I'm seriously sick of OSU back dooring their way in...; however, if there were no divisions UM/OSU would be playing again next week.
