The line moved from Iowa favored by 6.5 to now 10.5 after the news of sparty boosters pulling their NIL money. Heartbreaking....
And you've got ND going to play a surprisingly good Duke team. I know we aren't real fond of Duke, but I'm pretty sure Christian Laettner is gone so it's okay now.

But Bowers was insane down the stretch. I think we garner a few more first place votes, but Bowers..
They say in the NFL that the MVP should be a quarterback award, and OPOY should be for everyone else.
Caleb Williams balled out today, and sh/could match Archie Griffin. But Bowers is probably the most dominant player at his position in CFB.

Caleb Williams is in some measure also a product of Lincoln Riley‘s offensive philosophy and design plus a healthy dose of how his conference opponents matchup, and a touch of how the weather allows for that type of attack. The jury is out whether this scheme will remain fully intact once SC has to play on the road out East in November. Of course, the same can be said of legacy Big Ten teams making the westward bound trip.

I think I’ll be rooting for Sparty. Psu played Iowa as a cross divisional game. In the event of a 3 way tie (UM, OSU, PSU). Cross over teams records will be the factor.

Take out tacos. Can't decide which games to watch tonight -- Iowa/State or Duke/Notre Dame. I have a friend whose husband is a doc at the Duke hospital so they're big fans. May just ride with them tonight. I think we've given up on the Cubs, though we are driving to Milwaukee tomorrow to see their last game of the season. Maybe they'll pull out a win for us.
Edit: spoke too soon. Cubs scored 5 in the top of the first.

I am Henri Ennui about the Iowa vs. Staee game. The Spartans are not a threat in the near or mid-term, and as much as I would love for our boys to defenestrate any team Mork is coaching, seeing somebody else deepen their misery doesn't do much for me.
I'm rooting for Duke just because if they have a great football season, it would be something new under the son. Arguably, a humbler ND might get them off their high horses and actually join the B1G, as God intended. However, I'm not holding my breath. I fully expect that after this class leaves for the NFL, they will offer to play us, 2 home games for them to 1 home game for us. Hoke and Brandon did a lot of lame things, but the chicken dance over the PA system was perfect.
