Early Games Open Thread

This is a safe haven where you can cast appropriate aspersions at Michigan State.

Or analyze the IU-Wisconsin game for scouting tidbits.

Or tell us what you're drinking after the early morning drinking thread.

They played their asses off and could have beaten quite of few teams. It was an off year these 3-9 jokes are old and ridiculous right now he is a better coach than harbaugh at this point. Only an idiot would deny this

Dude, they need 2 garbage tds, the last with one second left against michigan last year. They were not close to a threat the entire second half. It's funny you call someone else a moron then turn around and say they could have easily beat Michigan last year.

Damn...MSU is a pretty young and talented team. They are going to be a handful the next several years, especially with Lewerke at QB. Sigh.

RBs are average outside of Scott. Rison and White are good young talents, but MSU does not have much at TE. Defensively, they are well coached, but MSU lacks talent here. Bachie is a superb and they had two promising corners. But the rest of those guys are okay, not great. Lewerke is really the guy that makes them good. Lose him and they would have a hard time beating Rutgers.

outside of Bama and UGA. I don't know what the committee is smoking putting Miss St at #16 and LSU at #19. Florida has thrown in the towel on their season being down huge to a really bad Mizzou team

This weather delay looks like it could be very, very long... RCMB folks reporting that the stadium parking lots are emptying, there's going to be no one in the building when this thing starts up again.

I mean, maybe, I guess? But not really. If MSU wins, then we need them to lose at least two more times. Sure they’ll lose to OSU, but who else? We need MSU and PSU to lose twice and there just aren’t many ways for that to happen. We lose pretty much all three-way tiebreakers with either MSU or PSU INVOLVED. The best way I think, is for MSU to lose to PSU but beat OSU. Then PSU needs to lose twice somehow. Not sure how they lose to two out of Rutgers, Maryland, and Nebraska. The that particualr three way tie we win because MSU OSU and MICH are all 2 losses and all in the division with 1-1 record against each other. MSU and OSU would be eliminated based on overall record. The problem with PSU is they don’t have a non Conference loss, so we lose head to head of course after OSU gets eliminated via overall record. If any of the losses are to a team from the West division and still make either MSU or PSU with only 2 losses, we’re pretty much screwed.
