I agree 18 sounds reasonable I didn't find totals for 2019 but in 2018 the conference returned 225 starters, 201 if you don't include special teams. Being considered in the top 10% of returning big ten players does not seem like a slight to me especially considering how run heavy and slow pace the offense was for much of 2018.

Got high hopes for he's a beast this year. - speed in space

Feels like 1A, 1B and 1C.  I'm excited about the "Speed in Space" bit.  It'll help us win and get more elite receivers.  It is annoying to see tape on Patterson and have him underthrowing so consistently.  At least the receivers can come back for the catch vs overthrowing.

It is sad that we have such talent with DPJ and Black and Collins and we have not done a good job of getting them the ball as much as we could have in their first 2 years.  Hoping that #speedinspace  becomes a true reality.

It is certainly related to that. DPJ would be underwhelming in sort of a unique way in a sense it would almost entirely be scheme based. He’s clearly shown he’s one of the most skilled players in the country when he actually has the ball in his hands.

Nico Collins is the best WR on the team. He will have a breakout year and be a 1st round pick in next year’s draft. He is a specimen.

Its DPJs value in YAC. His return capabilities push him ahead of other receivers. Doesn't mean Nico isn't great. So I agree. Can't wait to see the new offense. After that Big House practice, it is obvious that the middle and heck, the entire 2/3rds of the field is usable this year.

I don't want to start a thread because I don't have direct info (hearing it basically 3rd hand) but can anyone address the rumors that one of our starting DBs might be out for the year? Possibly a starting corner?

I saw it could be Ambry Thomas, that it was just an illness and maybe not season ending, also saw it could have came from a Buckeye source which may or may not have been a copy from Chris Balas. I don't have a Rivals account so I don't know what he said.

All info looked pretty hazy right now and nothing solid. Not sure I believe anything at the moment. If the rumor persists then there is probably something to it.

Chris Balas stuff is such click bait.  Rivals provides shit coverage overall and too many hot takes designed to sell stuff.  Like Twitter and Facebook, I killed my Rivals site.  MgoBlog, Sam Webb and Isiah Hole are all I follow.  Accurate and less bullshit takes.

If DPJ is fully healthy, he is going to skyrocket up the f-ing list as he defines #SpeedinSpace

The punt returns were electric.  But here's to hoping that some as electric as DPJ can take over in that category.  I think we'll need him to be fresh on the offensive side this season because he'll be seeing the ball a lot.
