"Named as a unanimous first-team All-American, Blake Corum is a running back on a mission to encourage others to dream big and serve their communities. Leading by example, he organized his Giving Back 2 Give Thanks turkey drive, which provides Thanksgiving dinners to families in underserved communities in Ypsilanti, Michigan. Blake also volunteers regularly at the Community, Leadership and Revolution Academy, supporting young kids' right to dream, believe, explore, and create through sports, nutrition, reading and writing. Additionally, he helps shape the next generation of student athletes by serving at tuition-free youth football camps. Blake received the esteemed Bank of Ann Arbor Community Award for his service."

There are three ways of posting:

1. A title with some text and no link.

2. A title with a link and no text.

3. A title with adequate descriptive text and a link.

#3 is the correct way. #1 and #2 are the preferred way for 90% of MGoBloggers...

Congratulations to all these young men and coaches who make a point of giving their time and energy to help others in the community.

And, a special shout-out to Blake for being the man he is - just exemplary in every facet of his life.

Go Blue!

I'm curious if anyone knows how the athletes themselves get nominated? Just a weird absence of players from some of the big money schools, and usually big programs do a decent amount of charity.
