So, uh, Michigan sent out their Penn State game notes and Derrick Green is NOT on the depth chart. pic.twitter.com/JAt7IjP3jy

UPDATE: Hoke actually broke the golden rule of his life of not talking about injuries and announces that Derrick Green broke his collarbone on Saturday.

He's been better than he has been, that just means he didn't fall over without being touched.

74 yards on 12 carries when his longest was 26 means he was averaging 4.36 yards a carry on the other 11. Against Rutgers.

It's not all on him 'cause the oline clearly plays a part, but I'm not going to panic that a running back whose best game is 4.4 yards/carry wasn't on the depth chart.

What are we panicking about again? Our chance to win the Big 10 east? Our chance for the playoffs?

The only panic is about if we win 0 or 1 game in the Big 10.

Obviously feel bad for Green but it is not like he was the bulkhead of this offense, on a team that was chugging along to win a championship or hell a .500 season.

Just an FYI they try to keep it under wraps but Morgan will be applying for medical redshirt. He cut all the tendons in his wrist by breaking a window trying to unlock the door to his apartment. So he will not play this year

Yes it is true, he's from my hometown.  And we know people close to their family.

As he was pulling his hand out he slit all the tendons in his wrist and apparently was bleeding excessively and he called the cops to bring him to the hospital.

Bright side is, he gets his redshirt year.  Not sure if alcohol was involved, but it obviously happened after the App. State game

I thought for a first-time offence it's a 2 to 3 game suspension. I may be wrong. What I meant is that I was hoping it wasn't some locker room dispute in which our best recruits may be looking for a way out of this program. I now know it was a collarbone injury, which freaking sucks. Green transferring though... that'd hurt.

Peppers is next. He'd be on there if some people at the school would have the brains to cut dead weight and rid this program of the "cancer" that is Brady Hoke.
