On tap:

UNC vs Virginia Tech

NW vs Sparty

Could be some interesting games especially the opener. Also some opponent scouting possibilities for the latter game.

Happy Opening Day Eve

I knew Northwestern's record from last year was a mirage, but it still makes me ill to see MSU basically scoring at will on them. We had better be able to do the same against WMU.

A “ranked” Minnesota team that was missing how many players? They had no kicker. How’d the rest of that season go for Michigan?

Oh that’s right the next week year 1 Mel Tucker went into Ann Arbor and slapped year 6 Harbaugh in the face and then dragged his nutsack across that face on the way out.

You're right, we definitely shouldn't give any credence to how UM's season played out after a great first game against a team with some missing personnel when considering MSU's current performance against a team that replaced their long time defensive coordinator, lost their starting TB only a week ago, and returned the least production in the country this year.

I swear, sometimes I wonder if people around here just want to be mad about something and ignore all reality to get there.
