Aubrey Solomon right knee surgery?
Just saw this on instagram from a Michigan fan account and cannot confirm the validity of this, but according to Aubrey Solomon's snapchat story he had surgery on his right knee. No official word yet.
Big loss for D-Line if true

Shut your whore mouth

That's a big-ass leg.

Perspective: it’s science!

Injured before or after ND?
September 7th, 2018 at 9:55 PM ^
Well this sucks on top of his appendectomy issues I would guess he is done for the season.
September 7th, 2018 at 9:56 PM ^
Well this is a loss, but it was pretty clear he wasn’t 100% when he barely played last week.
Players have surgeries all the time that get kept quiet. A lot of linemen have off season work done. Maybe this was a nagging knee that he thought he could play thru and it just became too much and he had to get a small surgery. Hopefully he’s back in October. Our D really needs a dominant DT.

I'm wondering if this was the case. Maybe he gave it a go vs. Nd because of the importance of the game. Now that we have a lull in the schedule this would be a good time for minor surgery, to return for the meat of our schedule
September 7th, 2018 at 10:08 PM ^
Hope so. No one reliable has said anything yet, but it didn’t look like the pic he took of his leg would be after major surgery. Regardless, last thing we needed.
September 7th, 2018 at 10:10 PM ^
Would seem strange for the surgery to be scheduled for a Friday instead of this past Monday if that was the case.
September 7th, 2018 at 10:26 PM ^
If he re-aggravated it, they could have wanted swelling to go down prior to surgery.
September 7th, 2018 at 10:14 PM ^
Makes sense. Probably just scoped it and cleaned it up. Hopefully will be back in a couple weeks. Not the end of the world at this time.

Gary to DT.

A toast to Aubreys's health with my sweet tea while eating some pecan pie with a pad of melted butter on top while I'm not too far from Leesburg, Georgia tonight. (Nice thing about grabbing dinner at waffle house during a hs football game in rural Georgia is that they have a maxed out staff with you as the only customer until the game ends and the rush begins)
September 7th, 2018 at 10:36 PM ^
Ah, Waffle House memories while driving to Florida some years ago... :-)

Would love to see him back on the field this year.
Man, this program can’t catch a break.
September 7th, 2018 at 10:13 PM ^
he will, it doesnt sound like its season ending
September 8th, 2018 at 2:18 AM ^
Him and Black returning for the last third of the season would be a big boost.
September 7th, 2018 at 10:56 PM ^
Get Well soon big guy
September 7th, 2018 at 11:16 PM ^
People are overthinking this. UM needs to move Gary inside to DT, regardless. They've got more capable DEs than DTs right now, and moving Gary inside would enable them to get that push up the middle that they desperately needed against ND.
September 8th, 2018 at 1:16 AM ^
On 3rd down sure, but we can't lose what Gary brings on the edge for every down. For all we know Gary isn't sure of DT assignments.

Could be something minor. I had to have foot surgery to remove a nueroma that caused a lot of pain, was sidelined a short period of time.

Does anyone else have the "Heal your meniscus" ad flashing at the bottom of their screen? I think we know what the injury is.
September 8th, 2018 at 8:14 AM ^
I've had nothing but "Find Russian Women" for a week. Beats the summer-long ordeal of the Man Ass ad, though.
September 8th, 2018 at 9:26 AM ^
Ugh, same here. Wish it would go away. Makes it a little harder to surreptitiously browse at work. That garishly tarted Russian woman can be seen a mile away. X'ing it out and flagging it repeatedly as inappropriate does nothing.
September 8th, 2018 at 9:53 AM ^
Ditto. Time to spin the ad blocker back up.
September 8th, 2018 at 12:29 AM ^
Is it a toe or a knee? Edit: it’s a knee. The toe sock is for warmth.
September 8th, 2018 at 9:00 AM ^
If it was a toe, it'd be no prob.
I can get you a toe by 3pm ......with polish!
September 8th, 2018 at 9:42 AM ^
AND A GOOD DAY TO YOU SIR.
September 8th, 2018 at 2:20 AM ^
I picked a bad decade to stop sniffing glue.

Quick recovery Solomon! Hopefully, he’s back before B1G Conference play! Cheers to hoping we see this Championship Caliber Defense potential being played every Saturday from here on out.
Go Blue !

Never hear Bryan Mone’s name anymore
lot of hype in the past and he is a 5th year player
September 8th, 2018 at 10:03 AM ^
Mone is what he is. A massive, slow moving run stuffer. He has never been a factor in pass rush. He can’t disengage from blockers quick enough to get to the quarterback.
September 8th, 2018 at 8:31 AM ^
This sucks....
September 8th, 2018 at 10:01 AM ^
Well is is a huge fucking blow for the interior of the defensive line. No way to spin this one. Massive loss in an area that was already suspect.
September 8th, 2018 at 10:37 AM ^
Where are people hearing that it sounds like it’s not that serious and he’ll be back this season? As far as I can tell all we know is that he had surgery and posted a pic of his left leg which you couldn’t tell much from.
September 8th, 2018 at 11:17 AM ^
According to Baumgardner, no Soloman or Lawrence Marshall out there today.
