I don't really put the INT on Patterson. If you look at the play closely, #4 (a linebacker) gets past a double from Higdon and Ruiz to pressure Patterson and force the INT.
While I do agree that the Cavs got more in return, I don't think that Thomas is better than Irving. Kyrie Irving is a better offensive player than Isaiah (creating his own shot etc). While Kyrie's defense is horrible, it isn't the huge liability like IT given the fact that IT is 5'9
I personally thought the circle was a pretty unified way of doing this kind of thing. That being said, I think what Carr and Mack did made more of a statement
