Are you taking Penn St or Minnesota? LSU or Bama?

Figured since it was an upcoming bye week there can be some discussion about the two big games next weekend.

Penn St is gonna rock Minnesota, PJ Fleck’s candy ass team will be exposed, 38-13 Penn St.

I think Bama still manages to win Saturday even with a not 100% Tua. LSU’s offense will be slowed down and Bama puts together a 6 min 4th quarter drive to put the game away. 27-16 Bama.

Are you kidding?  It's Minnesota over Penn State, prior to 9windiana over PSU.  Penn State beats OSU, then when we beat OSU we play for the conference championship.  Yes, I'm saying there's a chance!

Indiana is always annoying and they are half decent this year but they have so far this year:

been shelled by PSU 52-10, lost to MSU 40-31

beaten no teams with a record above .500

beaten 0-9 eastern Illinois, 1-7 Northwestern, 2-7 Rutgers for three of their wins.

sounds like same old Indiana to me.

Ultimately - ANY scenario that gets U-M to Indianapolis requires either:

(1) Maryland or Rutgers to defeat OSU (the 2nd loss for OSU if OSU beats PSU) or

(2) Rutgers to defeat PSU (the 3rd loss for PSU if PSU beats OSU).

--------------

Either 1 or 2 isn't sufficient, but it is necessary.

---------------

Another thing that can be said: no combination of events this weekend fully eliminates U-M from B1G East contention.

I like the Gophers on the frozen tundra of November.  I don't know how good Minny is but PSU is not really a top 5 team and I think they've been living on borrowed time.

As for the other, I love Orgeron but it's hard to pick against Saban.
