Still makes no sense. Catapult is a cloud/SaaS system, so the data is ostensibly attainable from any device as long as you have authorized credentials. If they're worried about their data being compromised, there are a lot of less intrusive security safeguards they could put in place than "no one can watch film from mobile devices."

I'm still thinking the main benefit they get is prevention of in-person snooping.

My expectations for the freep aren't that high, but (even in the world of clickbait), how do you publish that without follow-up questions or explanations. The headline should have been "Alabama players drop unsubstantiated, strange and confusing allegations on the University of Michigan, and we just throw it out there without any follow-up or explanation".

That’s smart.  I wouldn’t be taking any chances either.  Hope we are doing the same thing.  Anybody and everybody is going to exploit any advantage they can get.  That is sports.

This is … odd.  Not sure how even the most tin-hatted Buckeye could come up with some way we are advantaged by Alabama looking at film on an i-Pad.

OTOH, if Alabama has ill-gotten film of Michigan (say from Ryan Day), then this would all make perfect sense.

Just get used to it. It's the way of the world now to accuse your opponent or adversary of cheating before a contest so that you can discard a loss as illegitimate.

I am tired of us always being the good guys. Let’s be the bad guys this time. Let’s be the team that is feared instead of belittled. Let’s all embrace our new identity as THE cheaters and THE winners.
