He's the #1 QB and #1 player in the 2024 class. Many believe he will commit to Nebraska where he has family on staff

Yeah, I'm not taking too many of these current 2024 commits serious right now especially with the crazy booster money - disguised as NIL - that many of the Southern schools like Georgia, Miami, Louisville and many others are throwing at RECRUITS right now.

I'm not saying there isn't NIL in the B1G, but it's being directed to players on the roster. The entire B1G - including UM, PSU and OSU - is running into recruiting issues because of the NIL which is basically just massively disguised payouts from boosters

I certainly understand your thinking, but I'd suggest enjoying the decommit.

Imagine the last ten years (well, maybe the eight before 2021) with Michigan and OSU playing with similar decks (rather than a big difference in base talent). We could be inching toward something like that. In the absence of a complete OSU collapse I'd expect them to always do a little better in recruiting, but a level playing field or something close would be nice.

I know a guy pretty well who claims to have supplied Raiola with cocaine a few times in his final seasons with the Lions. Always said Raiola was big into the cocaine and strippers.  From how well I know this guy I grew up with I’d say it’s very plausible he’s telling the truth but I don’t know Raiola from anyone. I’ve

He wanted to fight my brother-in-law when my nephew plucked Dylan in a travel baseball game.  Mojo in the Morning stepped in to calm him down.

The kids ended up playing on the same travel football team a year later.

Dylan was a heckuva pitcher.  He didn’t play QB back then.  Think he was a RB and TE but that was 7th grade.

His uncle was retained by Rhule (was also a coach under frost). Only negative from this is the only other 2024 qb Osu had offered who is uncommitted is Jaydn Davis…

OSU just took a 2023 four star QB which makes for a pretty cluttered with talent QB depth chart.

He may simply want a more clear line of site to playing time.

Good news, but I’m not believing the #1 recruit is going to Nebraska because his uncle coaches there. I don’t know anything about it, but it just seems like USC makes the most sense. Lincoln Riley, multiple Heisman QBs, close to home, etc.

Obviously a big loss for OSU, who have been taking some L's recently.  But I'm also of the mindset that with the transfer portal a team can survive missing on a QB for a cycle or two and filling in a gap.  That said, UM would be good to close on Davis soon.

That's a big recruiting win for Nebraska if that happens. The B1G will be really tough in a few years once Wisconsin and Nebraska get back on their feet while adding USC/UCLA.

Really have to hope we can lock down Davis, since I would get the appeal of going to OSU as a QB since you'll throw the ball all the time.

Stroud should be our favorite QB at that Ohio school for some time. A bunch of Heisman buzz going into the game two years in a row and lost both, taking him out of the race. Oh and by the way he never beat us.

So osu is going back in on Davis? There’s a reason why he hasn’t committed and it’s been well noted forever now that “JD comin”. We really should circle our wagon back to Moore…
