Wouldn't it be Quattro de Mayo? Or am I missing some obscure reference?
I have a Quattro at home and assumed it was the same thing. Those whacky Germans...
Total Recall was released?
It is a reference to the holiday that the Bluth family invented on Arrested Development.
Also season 5 is apparently a few weeks from release.
Also, would have posted a AD based JPEG, but for the life of me I can't get it to attach.
If only the internet was run by Excel.....
Netflix is restricting it to the US. Ugh.
Has anyone in this family ever seen a chicken?!
Who are these peopole and why do they give a shit about May 4th?
Lou Holtz thinks it has something to do with Star Wars.
The Happy Star Wars Day thread. I haven't been in there, but pretty sure you'll find your answer to certainly who those people are and probably why they give a shit about May 4th.
it's like I tell my students, you don't have to hit save 5 million times because your comment hasn't posted yet. Anyways, good luck with your project, always good to see people giving back. Also, the OP is bad and should feel bad.
Although, that need to continue to hit "Save" is how we've gotten some rather memorable threads here. Of course, it's how a few people also decided to pick up their ball and go home, but those were also kind of memorable albeit for radically different reasons, so it's really a "pick your poison" moment when you go for repitition gold here.
downvoted because you told me to, and then tripped over yourself THREE MORE TIMES, GET IT TOGETHER CMON!
I've done this before when I've been too drunk to remember if I actually hit save or not...and sometimes that is at 9:00 am for me too.
Don't judge me
...or do. Either way, BOTTOMS UP!
And That's the picture that my technological illiteracy kept me from posting at the outset.
Thx
Which, if I remember correctly, Homer Simpson warned us that would be worse than the Jellyfish Festival- along with the Tongue Kiss Festival and the Hobo Oscars.
May Fourth is also the date of an important political demonstration that took place in China in 1919. Next year will be the hundredth anniversay--I imagine it will generate a fair amount of discussion/commentary. I celebrate every year by re-reading Lu Xun's "The True Story of Ah Q." (Not really, though it is worth reading.)
nope
Happy fifth of the fourth? Alright, alright.
The translation you were going for would be "Cuatro de Mayo".
I'm going on really short sleep this week, can you give me a hint?
Cinco de Cuatro is a plot line from Arrested Development. Here's the pertinent clip for all to enjoy. Love the Seussian nod...
So this is how the negbang thread gets started
what are you talking about?
