MBB: 5 star (#6 nationally) Romeo Langford to IU
You want Indiana to be good at basketball. That helps everybody.
He's good player and will improve the team, but I don't see IU finishing higher than 4th or 5th at the highest in the B1G

Right, the thing about b-ball 5 stars is you're obligated to play them the first year and then they leave for the NBA. MSU, for example, has done worse since they started landing 5 stars.
Basically a 5 star if recruiting services weren't screwed about scouting Canadians
lacks defensive talent. They may outscore teams, but until they show they can actually stop teams, they will struggle. JB has raised the bar with his defensive coordinator concept, so I look for us to be very competitive again next season.
Go Blue!
BOOOOO!!!! You aren't allowed to like two different teams in the B1G!

He's a Georgia Basketball fan now
What is a Hoosier anyways?
This is a Hoosier
Haven't seen it posted, but Charles Matthews (and Mo Wagner) got invited to the NBA combine. A little bit of a surprise that Matthews got an invite, as several guys projected higher in the draft got left out.
Probably increases the chances he stays in the draf to 50/50. He currently has private workouts scheduled with at least 2 different teams.
If you declare for the draft and are on a big time team, you'll get an invite. It's definitely not 50/50 unless some team gurantees he gets taken in the first round. Matthews has the chance to really improve his stock and be a solid SF prospect if he stays another year. No way with his FT and 3 PT shooting this past year that he gets drafted. He's still raw
Not saying that’s what’s happening here, but all I say to IU bringing this kid in is bring it on.
I wonder he compares with David DeJulius? DeJulius was certainly making some waves earlier in the year, and you have to love a point guard who can shoot like he does. Michigan really benefited from shooting guard MAAR being able to handle the ball while being on the floor with point guard Z Simpson.
