My initial thought when I…

My initial thought when I saw this was damn that’s a lot of money to pay. Then I thought, Hugh Freeze it is.

I don’t like the narrative…

I don’t like the narrative that OSU, Bama, etc cheat. If they cheat turn them in! if you can’t prove it, then step up your own recruiting and coaching game. To blame cheating is a loser mentality.

Im tired of the Michigan is more focused on academics. I’m sorry but you can be a great academic institution and have a dominant football program. OSU has improved academically and is a powerhouse. To say both can’t happen is a loser mentality.

I don’t believe for a second that Michigan recruits clean. Rashan Gary tuned down 300k to play for free at Michigan?  Not a chance in hell. Michigan cheats like other schools, maybe not at the same level. Might be why Harbaugh plays favorites. He has to keep the guys happy who have the dirt on recruiting.

Michigan’s problem is they need to rebuild the culture. They are too mentally fragile. As soon as something negative happens the team will fold.

Hire the right coach and things can turn around quickly. Michigan will always get top 10-15 classes recruiting. Develop the players and you can be a team that can beat OSU 2 of 5 years. Need to get the cycle right. Our best teams always seem to play OSU at their place. We need to have our best teams play the nuts in AA. Get a win and then things can progress from there. But have to beat all the other schools regularly.

Also the part about not…

Also the part about not bringing Denard in and incorporating him into the week. Instead Denard has to go tailgate with his brothers friend and a influential alumn got him into his suite bc Harbaugh gave Denard the (my words) stiff arm.

Lol. We aren’t even winning…

Lol. We aren’t even winning on the regional stage. We can’t win at a national level until we can clear a regional one first.

The relationships need to start at the state level, then regional, then national. Build inside out in recruiting. I didn’t say don’t go national. I said start regionally and build outward. If you have 2 equal players who are interested, take the more local kid. If you don’t, you will have likely given your conference competitors someone equal to who you took from a national effort.

Hire the best assistance…

Hire the best assistance possible. To be an assistant you need to be a great recruiter. If you can’t recruit, then you can’t be on staff.  If you hire a Jeff Hafley type who knows defense, then you can look to hire an elite recruiter like Al Washington away from OSU to be DC. Al hasn’t been a DC before but the HC can help augment that. Then you have a young dynamic recruiter as DC, and you weakened your rival and bring his recruiting ties into the fold.

I know the argument about the top schools recruit nationally. First step it to be better than every school other than OSU in the Big Ten. That means you hit the Midwest hard first. An inside out approach. Take the best you can from the Midwest first and then go national. Make the Wisconsin’s and Sparties of the conference go a little lower on their board for a player. Which trickles down to every program in conference. With a talent advantage a top school should win 10-11 games a season.

At this point you take your shot at OSU each year. Players should be confident and executing well.

Why can’t you? It’s exactly…

Why can’t you? It’s exactly what will happen. Early signing period starts before Michigan’s last game of the season will be played. Harbaugh isn’t resigning or being fired before the season is over. While he is in the job I fully expect him to sign his recruits. Warde and Harbaugh won’t sit down until after the season, so sign your players. If he decides to bring Harbaugh back, it’s imperative to have the recruiting class. If a change is made and kids want out, you grant it.

It won’t happen until after…

It won’t happen until after signing day. Must get the class signed, and then make the coaching moves.

I don’t think S&C are an issue at all. I think S&C is actually pretty good. The issue is with coaching techniqu, scheme, and play calling.

I don’t want a splash hire…

I don’t want a splash hire. I want a hire that will win. Tressel wasn’t a splash hire. Day wasn’t a splash hire. Riley wasn’t a splash hire. Dabo wasn’t a splash hire.

I do like Fickell, just don’t believe he would come to Michigan. He’d be more apt to go to PSU, ACC, or SEC before Michigan.

Cristobol is intriguing but why leave Oregon for Michigan? He can stay there and then take over at Bama when Saben retires.

OSU took a coach that was 0…

OSU took a coach that was 0-0. Campbell doesn’t have a great record either, but is considered a top coach. Hafley is a good coach. He was a good assistant for the 9ers. Good DC at OSU. And his team in year 1 at BC is solid and has as many wins in this shortened season than the team had last year.

I wouldn’t be upset with…

I wouldn’t be upset with that rumor. I’m a Campbell fan, but after him I’d call Hafley,  and then I’m calling Tony Elliott. Don’t even need to hire a search firm.

Your hospitals that perform…

Your hospitals that perform surgeries using donor grafts should have a freezer that can go to -80. This is the temp that many grafts need to be stored at safely. Which is cold enough to store the vaccine. My department will be storing the vaccine for the hospital when we get them, which we were told is coming.

As for taking it, I still need to do more research to be comfortable of long term issues. The RNA transcription onto your cells and your body then creating antibodies is a game changer for potential future cures to illnesses. Saying that it’s still new and my question is how long does this last in your body and over time will the bodies immune system see it’s own cells and an invader and attack it. Essentially, ones immune system will turn on itself. Again, this is a question I need to research and if anyone has good scientific literature that covers this, please send my way. If this isn’t a legit concern I will be taking the vaccine for sure.

Why bc he is humble and not…

Why bc he is humble and not arrogant? Teaches people to love and support each other? That in unity there is strength?

And I’m not saying I think he could take Michigan where fans want. I just don’t buy the culture for argument. If there is a culture problem it’s not a Tom Allen issue it’s a Michigan/Ann Arbor one.

Ryan Day is the answer. Pay…

Ryan Day is the answer. Pay him $10-15 mil a year to get him away from OSU. ?

I went to a fundraiser a couple months ago, with the ascot look. My wife loved it. Also received many compliments from others. Don’t knock the ascot, it is 100% more comfortable than a tie.

You realize if he just beats…

You realize if he just beats OSU, then most of your complaints are gone. Best OSU and we likely win 2 Big ten championships and in the playoffs twice. But we lost. Doesn’t mean Harbaugh is incompetent.

Focus on the next opponent…

Focus on the next opponent and emphasize what they do that’s similar to OSU. So you get something OSU related all year and it doesn’t take away from your weekly game prep.

I’m 37, my wife doesn’t care…

I’m 37, my wife doesn’t care that I watch every game. She actually bought me tickets to 3 games this year, we live out of state. She now wears Michigan gear and my inlaws watch most of the games now too. I don’t get any grief for watching every game. We don’t have kids, so that helps.

I also recommend unlimited data and steaming on your phone, if you need to go somewhere. I’ve done that plenty of times.

She knows I’m a huge sports fan and so it wasn’t a surprise after we got married.

Actually, over the last month of The regular season, IU was a top 10 defense nationally. That time frame included playing OSI, MSU, and Purdue. Next season should be wide open in the conference, as several teams lost their best players.
Romeo Langford could be in the conference Next year as well. Set to announce at the end of the month.
I've been a big Klinsmann guy I've been a big Klinsmann guy going back to the Bob Bradley days. If a change is to be made this is the time. He has shown a reluctance to be courageous in his starting lineups, when asking his team to be courageous. If he goes I'd look hard at Caleb Porter from the Timbers. Won the MLS and knows how to deploy Darlington Nagbe. To me Nagbe is the key to our midfield through the 2018 World Cup.
The 2022 WC I don't have high hopes for the 2018 World Cup. We should advance from our group, but we do not have a roster that has the technical ability to get past multiple top teams in the knockouts. Those technical players are coming but they are 20 and younger. In 6 years you have Brooks, Yedlin, Wood, Morris, etc all still 30 or younger. You also have guys like Pulisic, CCV, Zelalem, Hyndman all being 26 to early 20s. That will be the first roster that has the ability to possess the ball and advance vs multiple quality opponents. A lot of developing still needs to take place before then.
That's not true. You can go That's not true. You can go to Rangers website and read the recaps of their games. Zelalem played and played a lot. He was a quality player for them this season. In the Scottish Cup final their fans were pissed he was subbed out bc he was their best player and was controlling the game.
