General Studies isn't a program in the same way other majors are. No one is taking "General Studies 101/201/301..." In the General Studies major, you're expected to take so many classes across different departments, so you still would run into the same issue even if they major in General Studies like Shea did. The classes would have to transfer to equivalent coursework in their respective department at UMich to be counted toward degree progress.
I'd like to read this, but I won't patronize a site that employs people who think it's funny more people in Michigan died than in Ohio during a pandemic.
It's not choosing between developing freshmen or taking grad transfers, it's choosing between having depth or not. The underclassmen will still develop.
You'll recall we also did well in 2017. The difference is good Defensive Tackles. I'm not one to criticize recruiting too much, but we've really dropped the ball on DT recruiting.
Objectively untrue. He completed a 70 yard pass on his first pass of the game and was foiled by a Ben Mason fumble. I'm sure if you keep up your internet crusade against the starting QB of your supposed favorite team, Harbaugh will surely bench him and you'll be vindicated! Or better yet, Warde will learn the error of his ways and replace Harbaugh with you. That's definitely how this works!
So our revamped offense threw out the things we did well in an effort to get rid of the things we didn't do well, but didn't get rid of the things we didn't do well and so now we don't do anything well. At this point I feel stupid for expecting anything different.
Unrelated to this comment but you can see their screens here. The crowd can't reasonably be looking at those. Seems like it shouldn't be allowed, and is ugly to boot. You'd think their "larger than Michigan's" screen and the two smaller ones and banner screen would be sufficient for telling the crowd to get loud on defense. Glad our stadium isn't so damn corny.
The Red Wings might be miserable on the ice but would be the program I'm least worried about here because they have a winning culture, solid ownership, and an excellent GM. They'll compete again, it'll take a few years, but it'll happen. Although one cannot guarantee championships, especially in hockey -- look what happened to Tampa.
The Lions have always been mediocre to awful and probably always will be until there's a change at the top. Pistons have bad ownership too, they went all in and barely scraped into the playoffs and I don't think there's much room for improvement before a decline. Tigers, I really have no clue on since baseball bores me, but there's no where to go but up.
you didn't piss anyone off, there's a glitch that prevents some users from gaining points. There's also a glitch that prevents some users from being able to start threads even with enough points. There are lots of glitches.
not going to lie, I'm going to be super underwhelmed if this all ends up with Jon and Dany getting married and ruling together or even having a kid. Feels like hints and foreshadowing used to be a lot more subtle, now Daenerys telling Jon how she's sterile, feels so heavy-handed, it's intellectually insulting. My wife seems to love it, though.
They played at home on Wednesday and we played on the road on Thursday. The burden of coming on the road to AA is less than the burden of flying to the Twin Cities and back. We were definitely at a disadvantage there, but that's some soft shit MSU uses as an excuse, there's no excuse for the selfish and lazy effort after the 15 minute mark in the 2nd half.
"Greg's been offered several coordinator jobs over these years with Jim (Harbaugh). We've never really ever mentioned it to him. Obviously we want to stay here." -Mrs. Mattison, December 2018.
People here criticize the coaches all the time. They just don't like it when you exclusively criticize the coaches while also being a grating, antagonistic, condescending, entitled whiner. I thought to be surprised that you aren't celebrating the marginal increase in our star average but I forgot that you're allergic to being happy, even at someone else's misfortune.
If Pep were to leave for another job, Michigan would not owe him anything. Michigan would have to fire him to owe him anything and that clearly is not happening. Merely hoping he leaves does not give UMich any sort of obligation to buy out his contract.
See, I like the idea of Canada, if only because of what he did to OSU, but I would also prefer to use our WRs more and replacing our passing game coordinator with a run-oriented OC would not seem promising in that department.
Better than OSU fans who will bail as soon as daddy wants them. Also it's not like he's just our best former linebacker, he's a LB coach at a P5 school.

OSU fans really trying hard to cover up the 42-27 lol

They'll be disappointed to learn that the Union no longer has its billiards room then
That shot didn't even send us to the final four, it sent us to the sweet sixteen
Stupid argument re:transfers since two of them transferred in for Harbaugh's first season to fill in a barebones QB room left by Hoke.
Forgive OSU fans for not realizing that beat reporters are not simply program mouthpieces, that's all they know.

could've been parked in Juwan's labelled parking spot
the hockey team is really bad
There was a great atmosphere for the MSU game in 2017. Bad weather doesn't mean bad atmosphere.
not at OP but always good to give a friendly reminder to NOT SELL YOUR TICKETS TO OSU FANS

Why do you need to escort your wife to a store?
Haskins has a stronger arm than I thought

Blaming him for the players his successor recruited is... something.
and who is it that recruited our current DL?
Someone call Stephen Ross and tell him to open up his checkbook. Get back at those OSU people for the Henson debacle.
Edit: damn the person you were replying to said the same exact thing, that's what I get for skimming.
I've got my money on Tata Martell

or we can just hope their entire team gets food poisoning on thanksgiving

I thought Notre Dame would be on NBC?
We're really gunning to be the most popular college sports team in Germany

Hope Zion does a lot of flexing on Sunday if MSU can make it past the mighty coach-less LSU tigers
If I'm flying into the twin cities to watch Michigan Basketball, I want it to be in a couple of weeks.
If we made 2 out of 3 here, we'd still be losing the one we want the most and the one that will hurt the most to lose.

It is a bit rude, to say the least, to classify Corey Malone Hatcher as a bust, when he had to medically retire.
But we need to step up in state recruiting, don't we?
Obviously missed moving screen - 2 points
Double Technical resulting from obviously missed moving screen - 3 points
Obviously missed double dribble - 2 points
Penn State Margin of Victory - 6 points
but but but "you should've played well enough to take them out of the equation"
this was horrendous and refs need more oversight. Hope Warde and Coach B rip the B1G a new one on this.
I'm blind, I'm deaf, I want to be a ref!
a double post?

They gave everyone in the crowd a big foam glowstick last night

It's always good to assert our superiority over MSU, no matter the sport. If you're uninterested, simply do not click on the forum post.
Don Brown has always coached LBs
Keith Jackson died!?
Fuck Ohio State!

I'd like to see Mike Elston who's at ND or Washington moving to DL and Bush Sr. getting a promotion to LB coach
