Which Michigan football player are you most excited to see?
We're approaching another season of Michigan football! Some new players will see the field for the 1st time. There are a lot that I'm interested to see contribute, but one that I am anticipating is Drake Harris. I really think this kid is going to do special things in Ann Arbor. Anybody else excited to see someone in particular?
Go Blue!

Peppers on D, Peppers on O, Peppers on ST. This is a player who could join the Woodson level of performer at Michigan. Does anyone remember what happened last time we had a player like that?
It's really - what's LESS than a no-brainer? It's a negative brain function to rationalize why you're more excited to see anyone else. B. Cole, M. Cole, D. Harris, Taco or Taco pants... I hope they all succeed beyond our expectations, but if Peppers simply MEETS our expectations he'll be one of the greatest to don the Winged Helmet.
So... I say Jabrill Peppers! And then B. Cole should be very exciting, and I guess I'm very intrigued by Gentry, although it may not be this year.

HOWEVA... I will say that at Gentry's size he may be able to hit Taco pants - and what a weapon that'd be!

I think you can and should be more optimistic regarding the OL. The difference is Drevno, arguably one of the best OL coaches, period, together with Harbaugh's ability to instill over-acheivement. A big story of the Utah game will be our running game - in a good way. This whole team is going to get their mojo back this year.

because he had THE hype coming in, good thing is he is still getting the hype!
BUT we have actually so many players that have been hyped - I just want them to all deliver play on the field that matches expectations - We have talent.
I want us to just go back to smacking the crap out of people - in the trenches - in all facets.

I agree about Peppers and the starting QB. And I fully expect that QB to be Shane Morris, who will finally get a chance to show us why he was so highly rated in HS.

Next would be Ty
Next would be drake Harris
Next would be our QB

It may not be there in week one, but when the O-Line begins to punish people then i'll have a big smile on my face

I'm sure most will say Peppers. I can't wait to see him play. I'm going to go with Ty Isaac, though. If he can live up to his 5 star status and M actually has a stong running attack, then we could be looking at a very fun, exciting season.

curious to see the WR group.
Worried about the QB spot question marks make me nervous

Peppers on defense and Drake Harris on offense!

lots of upside at a position of real need. Love to see him be our next breakout back. Or, anyone else.

I have a suspicion that it will be like most years and most coaches, where there is this thing called a depth chart which gets released for public consumption which will not necessarily reflect the depth chart as it is understood inside Schembechler Hall. Now that I think about it, I wonder if we are in fact simply surprised for the first game - will the media public get a depth chart to mistake for the depth chart? This could get interesting.

1. Peppers
2. Morris
3. Harris
4. Cole
I'm excited to see the defense as a whole, since Durkin's changes suggest the return of the aggressive, attacking defense that's been missing in A2 for a decade.

Excluding Peppers, I'm excited to see the running back competition. Also, Drake Harris if he can get on the field.

Pepper of course!
