You have definitely become one of the boards best GiFFERs that's for sure. Didnt you used to speak at one point though? I seem to remember you making comments using words back in the day.
Did you take a vow of silence or something? Are you actually a Tibetan Monk?

of one of my favorite movie scenes from a Steve Martin film called LA Story.
Martin: So, you're studying the art of conversation?
Woman: Yes......

Beware this man's beets if they are of the sugar beet variety. I used to live in the Midland/Saginaw/Bay City area, where a lot of sugar beets are grown. You DO NOT want to hit a beet with your car if one falls off a load being brought to market. The only substance known to man that is harder than a sugar beet might be diamonds, which you aren't likely to see lying in the middle of the road in that part of the state.
Car vs. sugar beet? Pick the sugar beet to win that battle every time!

he would not wear a helmet for this and he probably would not even use a net since he has teeth

depiction of this year's recruiting campaign since the new staff took over.

Yes it is. Hopefully he's not telling those fish that they wouldn't get into Michigan without their ability to fly out of the water.

love this gif.

Wait! Can someone put JH's face on this? If so, it would be an epic recruiting gif

I hope you brought the net!

Best to take this approach with Clark, Weber, Marshall. Not worth being hopeful on any of them.

because that's exactly what I was saying. Expect none, then any of them will be a pleasant surprise.
Edit: Especially in this late hour before NSD. Next year, we have more than enough reason to elevate our expectations.

So the Mike Weber ship hasn't sunk?!?!?!
January 28th, 2015 at 5:05 PM ^
Read his tweets that Sam posted. Weber is torn.

It is true via multiple recruiting dudes.

I'm afraid of this going widespread b/c he wanted to meet with Harbaugh quietly and somewhat secretly b/c he doesn't want the Buckeye backlash, regardless of what he ultimately decides. Let's just keep this quiet and hopefully that'll keep (more) people from tweeting him than already are.
January 28th, 2015 at 2:35 PM ^
I would think that Ohio people tweeting him would push him here and there are some dumb buckeyes out there.

A bit too late to keep it quiet.
Also idiots are idiots and you can't stop them from tweeting at recruits.

Yeah, I want to get him but I hate the line of reasoning that goes "Come here because there's less competition than there." I'm sure Harbaugh does not use that as a selling point.
January 28th, 2015 at 2:33 PM ^
Still don't think he comes but it is good that they're meeting this late in the game. Weber flipped before when nobody knew that Harbaugh would be coach so a flip back to his home state wouldn't be out of the question.

Quick, everyone blow his phone up with "Go Blue" tweets!

Harbaugh is in Connecticut to visit Clark - must be other coaches.
January 28th, 2015 at 2:35 PM ^
JH probably met Weber and flew out of DTW..
January 28th, 2015 at 2:37 PM ^
According to Teddy Blanks (who credits Scout), the Clark visit is tonight. The Weber meeting is happening right now with Harbaugh.

fly into Connecticut today? Arent all the airports there still closed becasue of snowmageddon?
January 28th, 2015 at 2:46 PM ^
Snowmageddon was largely overrated. Local airpots will be cleared.

Love the use of "maroons" in the subhead.
Southern NH also got walloped, fwiw.

Manhattan yesterday was pretty clear after a few inches Monday night, but the Eastern part of Long Island got substantial snow-dump. Fortunately the city being closed down meant that streets could be plowed in the areas where the snow stopped early. It's clear for the second day here, so I assume at least LGA's open for business. Can't speak for CT.
