Current and Future Players and Coaches Reaction to SM HC?
I've seen a couple of social media post from a few current coaches/staff, past players, and University folks, but has anyone heard what the current/returning players and recruits are saying about the Sherrone Moore HC hiring?
I'm really curious about all players, but also looking for the returning key contributors, and Jadyn Davis' reaction too.
And Jesse Minters, has there been anything posted about his reaction?

You're going to get Bolivia'd for this. But I had the same question. I found it weird that all social media that people posted were from the players who already entered the draft.
I'm not particularly concerned. I expect them to stay.
You can forget about Minter, though.

If they had added some social media reactions they found, I don't think they would be sent to Bolivia BUT I neg any post that the OP uses as a Google search.

They didn't find anything to post. That's the whole question. Searched and nothing came up.
Reactions from current players, recruits, Minter...anyone seen one?

There are tons of player reactions on twitter. I've seen at least 20 current players and recruits react positively.

I looked at the MGOBOARD faq post before posting. What did miss that'll get me in trouble?

You are not a mgoblog OG

Username checks out.

You're fine, man. Some people here are a little too on edge when it comes to downvoting. This is a valid thread.

Could be viewed as being a concern troll.
No neg from me. Like I said, I wondered the same. And maybe I misjudged, but this board can be quick to jump on OPs.

This is a perfectly reasonable post. You won’t be Boliviaed, you’re fine. I’m also curious to start seeing some current players’ reactions

Minter is gone. Just announced, no destination just “NFL”
January 27th, 2024 at 12:03 PM ^
headed to the chargers...
January 27th, 2024 at 12:28 PM ^
While we can definitely assume that to be the case, there’s nothing official to report there
January 27th, 2024 at 12:08 PM ^
Dang! I had a big feeling this was going to happen, but I was holding on to a little hope that the success and player relationships that he built at Michigan might have pulled on his heart strings a little bit, and made him want to stay and help SM for the first couple years.

Harbaugh was always going back to the NFL if he got an offer. Minter was always going to return to the NFL as well, whether or not Harbaugh did, and he’ll probably be an NFL Head Coach someday. They were lucky to have him for the two seasons he was there.

Cool that at least 3 future NFL head coaches were probably on this year's staff.

An easy barometer is… which .. or how many.. players have placed their names in the portal.
I don’t believe there are any “portal surprises”… so far.
January 27th, 2024 at 12:30 PM ^
I don't expect any surprises either, but I also don't think portal activity right now is an indicator. The reason being that school has started everywhere now and so enrollment at a destination school for the spring semester wouldn't be possible at this point. Perhaps one of the biggest "favors" of the length of the Harbaugh process is that little nugget.

Good observation. The 30-day Get out of Departed Coach's Team Free Card window is not convenient for use by the players.

There have been a few media, quick compilation, stories.
https://www.foxsports.com/stories/college-football/michigan-players-fans-more-celebrate-sherrone-moore-hire
Zinter, Barnhart, Denard, JJ, Hammering Panda, Grant Newsome, a few others.
January 27th, 2024 at 12:38 PM ^
Exactly. None of those guys are on currently on the team. That's the question in the post.
January 27th, 2024 at 12:04 PM ^
Honestly I'd like to see this thread be a compilation of all sorts of tweets about Sherrone's hiring.
I've seen the from Zinter and Sainristil.
Also there was this one from Josh Gattis:

UNLV OC Brennan Marion:

I"m sure there are a million more.

Compliments from future Michigan OC Brennan Marion??? #Go-Go
January 27th, 2024 at 12:52 PM ^
I was glad to see that from Coach Marion. I think most of us are expecting Kirk Campbell to get promoted from QB Coach to OC and play-caller, but if not him, Marion should be high on the list. People in Pittsburgh still criticizing Pat Narduzzi for letting him get away.
January 27th, 2024 at 12:58 PM ^
Looking up Marion, wow, the guy's been on the move - he's been at 12 different programs (college and HS) in 13 years.
January 27th, 2024 at 1:23 PM ^
The Go-Go coach!
Like another poster said above, if it's not Campbell (or Hart), he'd be an intriguing option.
January 27th, 2024 at 1:40 PM ^
Speaking of which, what was the player reaction to Harbaugh's farewell meeting with them? Just curious.
January 27th, 2024 at 2:36 PM ^
Gatlin Bair is a fan of the promotion. Still between Oregon and Michigan for him. I think it won’t matter. You’ll have to re-recruit him when he comes back from his mission. But he’s a fan of Moore.
January 27th, 2024 at 3:32 PM ^
"I love it," said (Donovan, duh) Edwards, one of the many current players to attend the news conference. "If anybody deserves it, it's him."
There's a current player quote.
January 27th, 2024 at 4:00 PM ^
Moore is going to win the los per usual butalso I think he's going to next level the recruiting.
Now is the time to strike. l've obviously been pissed at Harbaugh for raiding us on his way out but im so excited/happy about Moore.
January 27th, 2024 at 4:16 PM ^
I think they are like, SMASH !
