We have all of the advantages in this game except they have Harrison and we don't have our coach on the sidelines. And I fear that the latter is particularly important today, assuming it's a close game, which most everyone says it will be.

The thing is, everyone said the game would be close-ish the past two years, and it was for a while until it wasn't because we overwhelmed them and won going away.

This year we have basically the same team as last year, JJ is a year more experienced, Corum and Edwards are healthy, and our defense might be better than last year. Meanwhile they lost their NFL QB, are playing at our place and the pressure is on them to back up their toughness bullshit.

My prediction: close for a (little) while before we overwhelm them and win going away, again.

Michigan 44, OSU 24

I had a dream we won. This game is going to be too close to call. I don't like our chances without Harbaugh...I'll make 3 predictions, whoever has more rushing yards will win. The second prediction is by 3:00, this site with be '503 Bad Service'

34-20 bucks

Michigan 27

Ohio St 17

Slow, defensive start for both teams, Michigan starts to open running lanes for Corum in the 2nd half..JJ to Edwards for a big 4th qtr TD to get it done.

Don't turn it over. Take it from them. Everything. Be relentless. They will break down. They will be tough up front and crack when it gets tough. JJ needs to find guys early. I hope he's healthy.

Defense needs to get pressure because there will be arm punts. They'll catch some. Make them pay the rest of the time

27-23 Michigan. They are able to drive the field, but the defense stiffens up and McCord falters in the red zone so they have to settle for field goals.

Loveland, Corum, and Mullings TDs.

31-24 a few big plays on each side lead to higher scoring and fewer fgs than most are guessing.  If we win the lines, we’ll win the game. And I think we will.

Very shocked by all the high scoring predictions.

I think it's going to be a defensive slog.  Something like 20-16.

Keys: JJ not being Maryland JJ, Barnart being replaced if he is not functional after 2 series, utilizing our TEs in passing game unlike last 2 weeks, not letting Stover go off, limiting Henderson to 80ish or less.  Harrison will get his pop plays here or there so don't let everyone else beat you on defense.  Above all else get to McCord and make him jittery.

But yeah #1 v #2 defense (or adjusting for B10 offenses) two top 5 defenses I don't see this in the 30s by either team.

Logic:

- Ohio State has struggled to score more than 20 point’s against good defenses.I think there will have to be Michigan TO fueled points to get to more than that.

- Michigan is healthy

- major advantage at oline and advantage at dline

- Michigan scored 24 against a better defense.

conservative call: 24-20 Michigan

75% certain on that.
