OT: MDen thinks Blake Corum is moving to Tight End
Just got an email from MDen offing autographed trading cards for "Michigan Tight End, Blake Corum"
C'mon MDen, have someone proof read these email blasts first
Don't count him out.... BC2 can do anything he sets his mind to.
He's no Michael Barrett though...
There's only one Michael Barrett, unless Michael Barrett decides to be another Michael Barrett.
Jan Quadrant Michael Barrett Vincent
He can do all things through Mcthickums which strengthens him.
Perhaps a female employee at M Den likes Blake’s ass.
You and I both know it could just as well be any of the males that thinks this too. NTTAWWT

Could be a Male employee....
I know many Seinfeld fans will cite "The Contest" as their favorite episode, but the episode shown in the gif above, "The Outing", is my personal favorite with "The Contest" a close second, of course.
My favorite Seinfeld episode is the one I just saw.
For me it's "The Marine Biologist." That final monologue at the end never gets old.
My two favorites are both about Frank. When Elaine recruits him to spy on her Korean manicurists and when Kramer recruits him to cook for the Jewish singles mingle.
i have never watched a single episode of that show, and i don't plan to do so.
neg away.
My 20-ish year old daughter binge-watched Seinfeld in its entirety during the pandemic just to see what the big deal was. She charted how many times she laughed during the process. I don't recall the final laugh count, but it was paltry. Maybe under 10. Yet she persevered and completed the experiment.
no offense, but that's more laughs than we would get out of...whatever the flip kids these days think is funny
I don't think children dare to laugh any more. It's a testimony to the range and genius of Seinfeld that it got as many as ten from a single youngster.
So what does she find funny?
The Dude abides. What a strange mission.
"i have never watched a single episode of that show, and i don't plan to do so."
No negs, to each his own, but it was brilliant, IMHO. I think I am correct in saying three shows finished their run at #1, and all had the main character as the title of the show. Seinfeld was one of the three, obviously. I'll leave the other two as an exercise for the reader, just for fun (just like back in Calculus).
To me, never watching Seinfeld is like never having watched The Office. Two absolute classics. But, again, watch what you like!
The Office was the much funnier of the two shows. Rarely missed it.
I tried again and again to find a reason to get hooked on Seinfeld, and did find certain things about it hilarious, but there were too many "meh" episodes for it to be must-watch TV for me. If I had to name my top ten comedy shows of all time, "The Office" would definitely be included but not Seinfeld.
Considered but didn't neg XM Mt 1882. Still, "I've never watched X and I never will" without an explanation just sounds unnecessarily belligerent. I mean, watch or don't, but why drop in on this thread to announce your ignorance of it?
you're right. deserves at least a bit of nuance. start with the fact for probably 25 years i/we don't watch TV other than during CFB season, and other than football and michigan hoops, done. since covid we don't stop the subscription in january but still limit TV to CFB, CBB, and the occasional movie on demand, like an amazon or netflix thing.
to the point of the show, i have seen several snippets over the years and here on mgo and it always seems like a neurosis festival even in the 30 second snippets. so not my cup of tea but being rightly called out for being overly blunt, it is good that folks find it entertaining.
XM!
You anti-dentite bastard!
as soon as I find out what’s wrong with my dentites, whatever those are, boy I’ll have some snappy reply for you Mr.
Im with you by the time I reached the age that I could probably appreciate its time had come and gone.
For some reason I do love me some Curb you Enthusiasm. Hate a stop and chat with the power of a 1000 suns.
Even having married into the Massapequa "mahjong circle" of Jerry's mom? I also haven't watched an episode. Go figure ... 😉
You have my vote.
Absolute classic. That one episode demonstrated their ability to tie all the various story lines together at the end.
When George gets a massage by a guy..Jerry I think it moved
George as a hand Model and Jerry with the puffy shirt and of coures the low talker
Anything with Lloyd Braun is my favorite
Serenity now, insanity later.
I would really have to think about this, but off the top of my head-
1-The hamptons one- shrinkage!
2- The Jimmy- the part at the end with Kramer singing, not sure they could do that again in these days.
“It shrinks?”
”Like a frightened turtle!”
So many. Little Jerry. The Slicer, The Fusilli Jerry...
“The Note”
More likely, the recently fired HR background check person from the AD now works at the M Den.

This should not have made me laugh as loud as I did.
It does appear Blake is more versatile than many give him credit for.
He's an exceptional example of a Michigan athlete - great leader on the field and in the community.
If Blake doesn't represent what, I think, the ideal of NIL is about, who does?
Looking forward to seeing Blake in the opener - and throughout the season this fall.
Go Blue!
Is this you, Ernie?
Why you talkin’ ‘bout Blake in a Seinfeld thread?
/s
Who do they think he is, Michael Barrett?
I don't believe Barrett played Tight End due to his lack of height.
It shouldn't be a problem for Blake though, given that he wears a cape and can fly over would be tacklers.
Let's not give JH any ideas here.
We already tried the TE run with McKeon, remember?
No, because that didn't happen.
IT DIDN'T HAPPEN!
How can Jim not considering him at TE with his extreme height!?
Two things... first, Blake's blocking ability is severely underestimated.
Second, it's not how tall he is, it's how tall he plays...
