ya love to see it
November 5th, 2022 at 11:24 PM ^
EVERYTHING broke our way today!
November 5th, 2022 at 11:29 PM ^
Red Raiders coulda done us a solid but faded in the second half.
November 5th, 2022 at 11:30 PM ^
Illinois beating Sparty would have been nice.
November 5th, 2022 at 11:32 PM ^
Yeah gotta imagine they are gonna fall and further hurt the SOS
November 5th, 2022 at 11:46 PM ^
At this point to hell with SOS.
Sparty could make a bowl now with that win.
November 6th, 2022 at 7:42 AM ^
Eh UGA losing to Tennessee would have been preferred. I’d much rather get the Vols than the Dawgs in the playoffs. That said, a one loss UGA gets in anyways so ugh.
November 5th, 2022 at 11:17 PM ^
Helluva a day for college football. I love this game.
November 5th, 2022 at 11:17 PM ^
Saban and Dabo lose on the same day? Is it Christmas?
November 5th, 2022 at 11:18 PM ^
But effing Brian Kelly won, and it turns out I hate him more than I hate Saban. But the outcome is better for our guys, so I'll live with it.
November 5th, 2022 at 11:31 PM ^
I have to say that BK is growing on me now that he is at LSU. I miss me some Coach O but BK will do, especially after the 2pt conversion. Ballsy call for sure.
November 5th, 2022 at 11:38 PM ^
Exactly, I'm bummed. Bama was never an issue for me.
I can't STAND Brian Kelly and I don't want ANY good things to ever happen to that guy.
I've said it before. Brian Kelly, Ryan Day, James Franklin...and now Mel Tucker. Can't stand em.
But Kelly stands slightly above Day for me...those two and Dantonio. Fuck, put em on a boat and sink it to the bottom of the ocean.
Urban Meyer, Mel Tucker...you round out my top 5.
November 6th, 2022 at 1:24 AM ^
What's wrong with Mel. He was smart enough to milk MSU. I think that's great.
November 5th, 2022 at 11:22 PM ^
No that would be when Notre Dame , tOSU and Michigan state all lose on the same day .
November 5th, 2022 at 11:25 PM ^
ND winning today was significantly better for us.
November 5th, 2022 at 11:33 PM ^
Notre shame winning is never a good thing
November 5th, 2022 at 11:52 PM ^
Meh. It was today. Was very helpful if you care about national championships.
November 5th, 2022 at 11:18 PM ^
Fine but no more success for Brian Kelly please.
November 5th, 2022 at 11:18 PM ^
yeah, ohio was weak as a kitten v. NW. got lucky, there.
November 5th, 2022 at 11:24 PM ^
i can hear it already "he had the feline flu! the water was not conducive to his nap game!"
November 5th, 2022 at 11:19 PM ^
UM moves to #3 in the CFP. Book it. UM certainly passed Clemson to #4, and the committee isnt going to move a 1-loss TN to #3 after losing by two TDs to GA (GA was favored by 8.) UM earned the #3 ranking tonight in the CFP.
#GoBlue
November 5th, 2022 at 11:26 PM ^
Not to mention their garbage time TD.
November 5th, 2022 at 11:31 PM ^
UM probably earned the #2 ranking tonight.....but I don't think that CFP Committee will acknowledge it.
November 5th, 2022 at 11:32 PM ^
Why not # 2 ?
November 5th, 2022 at 11:57 PM ^
OSU looked bad against 1-8 Northwestern. And we still have the much more impressive victory over PSU.
November 5th, 2022 at 11:19 PM ^
This pleases me, very much.
November 5th, 2022 at 11:19 PM ^
I don’t want to hear a WORD about playoffs and Bama and LSU the rest of the year before anyone from ESPN brings it up.
November 6th, 2022 at 10:36 AM ^
I think this means LSU is elevated to the 4th SEC team in the playoffs!
November 5th, 2022 at 11:20 PM ^
tOSU looked average today against a bad team. Michigan might make it to #2 . Id be surprised if they dont !
November 5th, 2022 at 11:21 PM ^
“The wins at Wake (Forest), at Florida State, over N.C. State, over Syracuse, really did push (Clemson) over the top,” Corrigan said.
🙄
November 5th, 2022 at 11:28 PM ^
I didn't have too much of an issue with Clemson over Michigan simply because they put UGA at #3.
Michigan and UGA had similar SOS, so they were at least consistent even though I didn't think UGA was #3 and Michigan was clearly better than Clemson.
But if they wanted to send some kind of message...at least they were consistent.
The problem is, the job is to rank the best teams, period. Michigan is just flat out better than Clemson.
I literally posted 4-5 weeks ago that Clemson is a team that you'd typically rank around #15.
Oh, I got it...Clemson is Penn State. They're a 9-3 team.
I've always thought Carolina was going to embarrass them.
November 5th, 2022 at 11:46 PM ^
They did not seem to have watched the games. They just rank these teams in 15-25 and those teams get stomped. Now they look like jackasses.
For people who are supposed to be experts at evaluating football teams, they are acting as incompetent as NCAA.
November 6th, 2022 at 12:01 AM ^
When unilateral power is installed, favoritism and incompetence always follows.
November 5th, 2022 at 11:37 PM ^
Yea….Syracuse just lost their third straight game vs unranked Pitt. They wont be ranked anymore 😂
November 5th, 2022 at 11:39 PM ^
Quality win.
November 5th, 2022 at 11:52 PM ^
Yeah, that's hilarious.
Wake Forest now has three losses, including a 48-21 loss to a lackluster Louisville team. Clemson only beat them by five.
Florida State also has three losses. Clemson only beat them by six.
NC State has two losses, including a 24-9 loss to Syracuse. Clemson only beat them by ten.
Syracuse also has three losses, including a 41-24 loss to Notre Dame and a ten point loss to four-loss Pittsburgh. Clemson only beat them by 6.
So, Clemson has four close wins against above average teams.
November 5th, 2022 at 11:21 PM ^
This was a great night for Michigan and where it will stand in the rankings.
FUCK the CFP committee puting Clemson so high, LOL mother fuckers!!!
Eat shit Dabo!!!
November 5th, 2022 at 11:24 PM ^
I expect Michigan to move up to #3 when the new rankings are released.
Georgia will jump OSU, and while I think Michigan will be at #3, I think there should be a long discussion about Michigan at #2.
Clemson was always a fraud, I watched every game this year...they're a 3 loss team in a terrible conference.
TCU won, they should go to #4.
- Georgia
- OSU (close, though I would rank Michigan #2)
- Michigan
- TCU
- Oregon (May swap them with Tennessee)
- Tennessee (I don't have number in front of me, but maybe they're #5 because they looked a lot better versus UGA and they beat Bama).
- LSU
- USC (assuming they win)
- Ole Miss
- Bama (maybe UCLA, then Bama at #11...both of Bama's losses were close, on the road, to teams in the top 7)
November 5th, 2022 at 11:33 PM ^
If TCU rises above Tennessee, I’ll eat my shoe.
November 5th, 2022 at 11:51 PM ^
Locking this in now!
November 5th, 2022 at 11:56 PM ^
Get some hot sauce ready.
November 5th, 2022 at 11:24 PM ^
Somehow I think the CFP committee will only move TN down to #3 because of SEC bias and put Mich at #4 and TCU at #5
November 5th, 2022 at 11:30 PM ^
No way. They're not putting them over an undefeated Michigan and they shouldn't put them over an undefeated TCU either.
Being undefeated isn't everything, but Michigan and TCU both have some solid wins. Enough to justify being ahead of Tennessee.
November 5th, 2022 at 11:31 PM ^
No... They will keep UTenn in front of TCU, though. But not Michigan. Michigan had/has legit cred building from last year, too.
November 5th, 2022 at 11:45 PM ^
Thats why I said no way over Michigan...and they SHOULDN'T put them over TCU.
What are you noooing about? You think they SHOULD put them over TCU?
November 5th, 2022 at 11:35 PM ^
GA was favored by 8. GA won by 2 scores.
UM almost doubled it's spread. UM certainly passes Clemson to #4. CFP moves a 1-loss team from only #1 to #3? CFP does not keep a 1 loss TN ahead of 9-0 #2 OSU and 9-0 #4 UM (due to the Clemson loss.) TN will be highest ranked of the 1-loss teams. 3 undefeated teams, perhaps even TCU, will shoot ahead of TN.

November 5th, 2022 at 11:54 PM ^
Wait, wasn't Michigan favored by 26 and won by 35?
November 5th, 2022 at 11:25 PM ^
Stroud goes 10-26, Young and Hooker lose.
🚪 opening for the incredible Blake Corum???
November 5th, 2022 at 11:30 PM ^
Blake Corum deserves it. Best player on a great team.
November 5th, 2022 at 11:32 PM ^
While that's fact. That's not how you determine the Heisman.
