Predict the last 6 games
I *want* to believe. I don’t think we are as bad as we have looked, but at this point in time I’m still feeling pretty negative about the 2nd half of the season. Would like to hear some other opinions. And yes, I know it’s hard to predict games a month or more from now, but this is my gut feeling at this very moment.
-PSU 28 UM 13. D will keep us in the game for a while.
-ND 27 UM 20. We will play much better but won’t have quite enough.
-UM 35 Maryland 21. The shine has wore off of Locksley.
-MSU 14 UM 10. Uggh I’m having 2017 deja vu.
-UM 28 IU 24. This will not be easy, just like most IU games lately.
-OSU 38 UM 24. We put together our best game plan of the year like 2017 but just can’t keep up again.
7-5. I hope I am very wrong. In a more positive way I mean.

PSU - Loss
ND - Win
MD - Win
MSU - Win
IU - Win
OSU - Loss
9-3
October 15th, 2019 at 9:44 AM ^
Seconded.
October 15th, 2019 at 9:45 AM ^
Sign me up for that.
I feel way better about ND than I do PSU. And we really should beat MSU but they stop the run and I have no confidence we can pass well on any good D right now.
October 15th, 2019 at 9:50 AM ^
Ditto, I think we knock off the Irish
October 15th, 2019 at 9:52 AM ^
I couldn't care less about beating the Irish. Psu game is make or break
October 15th, 2019 at 12:45 PM ^
Oh, you'll care a little bit more if we lose to them, lol
October 15th, 2019 at 12:54 PM ^
I usually care alot about the irish but not so much this year. If we beat PSU and lose to ND I literally wont give a shit and will be estatic that we will probably be playing OSU for the East and a trip to Indy so yea I dont care about the Irish this year, it will just be nice if we could beat them.
October 17th, 2019 at 11:10 AM ^
Facts!
October 15th, 2019 at 10:33 AM ^
This is exactly what I would predict, as well.
The question is where that leaves us.
POSITIVES:
Harbaugh's first 5 seasons would consist of 3 10-win seasons, and a 9-win season. The only outlier being the year we were forced to play our 3rd string QB for most of the season.
Assuming we beat MSU, Harbaugh would have restored the balance of power between us and Sparty (3-2, but one of the losses may have been the flukiest of all time)
After 7 years of being a laughing stock (aside from that one great Hoke season), Harbaugh has restored us to being consistently in the second-tier of CFB. Not in the same league as Clemson, Bama, LSU, Georgia or OSU (ouch), but solidly in the same group as PSU, Wisco, ND, etc.
NEGATIVES:
0-5 vs. OSU
General lack of stability on the team
No offensive identity
Recruiting is decent, but is not showing any signs of putting us in a position of being able to compete with OSU.
October 15th, 2019 at 10:45 AM ^
Why do you have LSU in the top tier but not Oklahoma?
The top tier right now would be Alabama, Clemson, Oklahoma, and Ohio State.
October 15th, 2019 at 11:50 AM ^
Uh, no. LSU finally has a creative and explosive offense to let their ridiculous athletes play in and supplement their always awesome defense. Recruiting, resources, points, whatever you want, LSU has it RIGHT NOW.
October 15th, 2019 at 12:08 PM ^
But from the comment it appears we are talking about a 5 year period not this season.
October 16th, 2019 at 12:25 PM ^
So does OU, and LSU's QB play which was what held them back is based on a senior, so to put LSU in the top tier, they'd have to beat Alabama and show that next year's QB will be as good, or at least, close to this years. OU has proved year in and year out, they're in the top tier.
October 16th, 2019 at 4:12 PM ^
If they lose to Bama they are just 2016 UM. 40ppg cant win the “big game” no conference championship no playoff.
If OSU holds our lunch money then Bama holds LSU’s.
October 15th, 2019 at 11:57 AM ^
At this point in the season I'd say LSU's resume is better then Clemson, Bama, OSU and OU.
October 15th, 2019 at 11:15 AM ^
but solidly in the same group as PSU, Wisco, ND, etc.
ND is at least a tier above UM.
October 15th, 2019 at 10:28 PM ^
Not after we beat them in 11 days
October 15th, 2019 at 11:32 AM ^
A bowl win would make it a fourth 10 win season
October 15th, 2019 at 11:44 AM ^
A lot of people say that don’t care about the Irish. I’d be very happy if we won that game. Chances are slim of winning the Big 10 right now and as always to hell with Notre Dame.
October 15th, 2019 at 2:08 PM ^
It's a fact that we're farther away from OSU now than when Harbaugh got here with Hoke's recruits.
October 17th, 2019 at 12:29 PM ^
Was there a tectonic shift between Ann Arbor and Columbus?!?... or did you mean "further away?" Kidding aside- we are this season, but I don't think we were the last couple of seasons. Put me in the camp of Pep/Harbaugh > Gattis.
October 15th, 2019 at 12:38 PM ^
I'd guess we go 1-1 vs. MSU/ND. Feels like we win one and lose one but it could go either way. 8-4
October 15th, 2019 at 12:44 PM ^
PSU, hasn’t played anyone imo. I think um punches them in the mouth and that’s it.
um @ psu UM 20 missed pat psu 19, Franklin goes for the win like a moron.
um vs ND Um 28 ND 25
um @ Maryland. um 35 maryland 31
um vs msu. Um 17 msu 10
um @ IU IU 27 Um 17
osu @ um. OSU 38 um 24
October 15th, 2019 at 12:52 PM ^
If we win our next two games we are not going 9-3. I just don't think the universe could handle the Michigan fanbase if we somehow get to 9-1 and then lose to Indiana the week before OSU.
October 15th, 2019 at 11:24 PM ^
Win win win win win win
October 15th, 2019 at 12:45 PM ^
Same same
October 15th, 2019 at 1:40 PM ^
If Michigan does not beat PSU, they are not beating ND or Indiana. ND is a much better team than PSU. If they beat PSU, I will give Michigan all wins until OSU. In other words,
Two scenarios:
1. Lose PSU, Lose ND, Win MD, Win MSU, Lose IU, Lose OSU
2. Win PSU, Win ND, Win, MD, Win MSU, Win IU, Win OSU, Win Wisconsin for B1G, get playoff bid.... (a guy can dream can't he?)
October 15th, 2019 at 6:16 PM ^
So ND is much tougher than pedo state but if Michigan beats pedo state it means they beat ND?
October 15th, 2019 at 8:43 PM ^
msu has me scared for one main reason (probably can't have two main reasons) and that is that UM has a bye week prior to the game. I don't know what UM does when they have time to prepare but it seems like they do anything but that.
October 15th, 2019 at 9:09 PM ^
Yep, 2-4.
Beat: Maryland and Indiana (a close win)
Lose to: PSU / ND / MSU / OSU
The MSU game will be 10-9 or something like that. You know Dantonio will pull out all the stops and some weird shit will happen.
October 16th, 2019 at 9:05 AM ^
I figured someone had the same thought as i did. Indiana is a dog fight every year. It's also in Bloomington :)
October 15th, 2019 at 9:47 AM ^
Not too far off from where I think we will end up. Maybe flip the MSU rock fight game in our favor, then increase the margin of victory for PSU.
Im refusing to get too bummed about it. I’m embracing the suck, so to say. And looking forward to the team grinding out what they can and rooting for them along the way.
October 15th, 2019 at 10:53 AM ^
Ugh I want to embrace this attitude so badly but then I get sucked into 'how the fuck is this year 5?!'.....if not now, when we're loaded with talent and have a Sr. QB and OSU is going through a coaching change, when?
October 15th, 2019 at 12:18 PM ^
You obviously haven't embraced the suck.
October 16th, 2019 at 9:42 PM ^
In all likelihood, never. Coaches at top programs all have a head coach that brings something to the table either offensively or defensively. Harbaugh doesn’t bring much of anything, and that’s going to limit Michigan to 10’ish wins a season.
October 15th, 2019 at 9:48 AM ^
PSU - Win
ND - Win
MD - Loss
MSU - Win
IU - Loss
OSU - Tie
October 15th, 2019 at 11:04 AM ^

6-6. Harbaugh will resign in December heading back to the NFL.
October 15th, 2019 at 9:56 AM ^
I would agree with this
October 15th, 2019 at 10:09 AM ^
I'm right in line with this. Although not sure about Harbaugh resigning.
October 15th, 2019 at 10:14 AM ^
That’s some deep BPONE shit right there.
