I’m kind of in the same boat. I’ve been a rabid fan since the 80’s and the last 3 years have been like icing on the cake. I’ve thought about selling our season tickets “while the get’in is good” but they are so hard to come by, I’d prob regret it - especially when we still have kids & grandkids who love to go to games. And we still love going to the MSU, PSU & OSU home games. These new west coast teams coming in to The Big don’t interest me in the least and we’ll prob sell those tickets if the kids don’t go.
All that said, it’s still GREAT TO BE A MICHIGAN WOLVERINE and NOBODY HAS IT BETTER THAN US! GO BLUE!

Thanks so much. We missed out on Pioneer parking for the MSU game so we parked at private residence on Pauline which was ok but a nightmare getting out. Heard about Weber’s parking deal and decided to try it this week.
Years and years of attending games and until just recently heard about Weber.
I love college football more than anything else but things are changing. This thing with Frankie Collins really through me for a loop. It’s bound to hit football just as hard. Look at MSU… they couldn’t have fielded a team last year without transfer portal.
Yup, I’m an old, “get off my lawn”, guy but between NIL and transfer portal, college football and basketball have changed drastically - in just a short amount of time.
We’ve been season ticket holders since the 70’s. Really wondering what’s going on and what’s precipitated these options. Not sure we’ll continue if some of these changes happen. To easy to stay home and watch on big screen TV without the hassle of 2.3 hour drive, parking for $50 at Pioneer and trying for 1.5 hours to get to I-94 after the game.
Maybe I’m just getting to be ornery old “get off my lawn” guy but good grief man… LEAVE THINGS ALONE! Nothing is broke! Quit trying to fix it!
Some of the stuff I really didn’t care about one way or the other but the whole thing about adding more premium seating at the expense of general seating really pissed me off when I read those questions. Seriously? Ticket prices aren’t high enough right now? Slowly but surely they are making attendance possible for only the wealthy.
The two I wanted to take have both played football since they were little guys. One is currently in 7th grade and one is a sophomore in high school. Both were VERY excited about the chance to go. I wrote to Christina DeRuyter and she replied back saying it was intended for coaches only and she asked where myself and grandsons coached. 🥴 When they said, “Coaches Clinic” I thought they meant the UM coaches as the tentative schedule showed each of M coaches taking a part of the schedule.
We’ve been watching as one of our grandkids (HUGE Jordan Poole/Steph Curry fan) is there tonight along with our SIL. Fun watching Luka Garza but sorry, Go Warriors and Jordan Poole!
We’ll be taking grandkids to M Den block party. After this past 16 months or so, we’ll just be glad to be in A2. And I’m really, really glad now we didn’t let our season tickets go. Go Blue!
I wish him nothing but the best. Did he take us to where we wanted to go during his time here? No. But I remember his post game pressers after tough losses. It was gut wrenching to watch. The kid hated to lose and a when he had a bad game, he always took full responsibility for it.
A little Chardonnay with my wife after a nice long walk and then a bit of Fireball after a great pizza from Florentines in Grandville. If there’s any West Mich people on this board, they should try Florentines pizza. And no… I’m not an employee or relative of the owners. Just really, really good pizza.
Ace wasn’t too tolerant of views other than his own (see his Twitter) but he was totally committed to M sports. When we suffered, he suffered and his writing demonstrated it. When we were thrilled with M sport’s success, he was to.

We might be better off doing what you do - hanging on to the seats but selling the tickets we don’t plan to use.
