In Veach we Chiefs fans trust. Looking forward to finally getting a chance to root for Worthy. He's at another level as a skilled receiver, route runner than John Ross.
Thanks for the breakdown of Roddy, MattD. I love that he's a proven commodity in the B1G, capable of getting his own shot & playing solid defense with good size at the 2. Perfectly fits the starting off guard, will be hungry to prove himself on the new team - especially when we play OSU.
Waller leaving makes sense for him, he's probably making more money at Kentucky thru NIL. And he's going to get a little more playing time & probably play for a coach who he liked 2nd most to Clink. Am I sad to see him go - because he was going to absolutely be a piece for the Nation's top 5 or 10 defense - absolutely.

That Nebraska game last week was must see TV. Costales with the walk off homer was sweet after we'd had bases loaded twice that the Cornhuskers got out of.
McBurrows played well in the Spring game I thought. Not sure if he's playing CB, thought it was Nickel. But I can see how impressive last season was keeping all the 1st & 2nd team guys on the team with NIL floating around. Best of luck to DJ wherever he lands in Kentucky.
Tre is IMO the most important addition to this team. A legit PG who can shoot/pass/defend at a potentially elite level (based on projections), already had his tuneup in a major conference, ready to breakout.
We've got 2 stretch 4's on this team already - we need a defensive guy who can play the 3 or 4. Teams last year would just go at Tschetter everytime down the floor.
Deacon was the perfect backup QB for that offense - a durable guy that can take an endless beating while not turning the ball over. Major loss for the fighting Ferentzes
Sean Stewart would be a bouncy guy to slot in at the 4...just saying. I'd also be happy with Traore. Then focus on filling out the backups slots. Amaizing how quick Dusty & staff started signing players once the coaching staff was made official last week. Love to see the sudden action & clear roster development!
It's hard to come in right away in your first big game opportunity & be on point. So obviously he needed a couple throws to settle himself down.
Look at everyone getting down on Denegal. He came into the game to basically run the 2 minute drill before halftime as the 4th QB. He was put in a tough spot to begin with, may have influenced how he played the rest of the game?
Bottom line, there's talent in the current QB room. I'm okay with whoever wins out & starts week 1 in our current roster.
Watching the highlights, and Orji made those easy throws look easy. Not sure why everyone is so hard on him on the comments - he's going to be a good player with some more experience.
Also, impressed by the younger Bell - he caught the deep ball & also made 2 blocks on that Fred Moore long TD run. Also Marlin Klein is going to be a beast playing with Loveland.
I think we can settle for a Tuttle @ QB, and/or take our chances with Orji and Warren. Basically no one is happy looking at the QB room right now, but with our defense & coaching we'll be able to put together a semblance of a winning offense. And honestly, I'm happy to not bring in a multi-year starter at QB since we have Jaydn Davis & then Carter Smith coming in behind him. Rather give snaps to guys on the roster, also in terms of development for next season.
Cancel all that out if we're somehow able to bring in 2 starting WR's thru the transfer portal - then I'd like to see us push for another portal QB since the starting defense is capable of making a push for the title.

Coon was our heavyweight right before Mason & he was a great wrestler. We've been blessed with big talented HW's.
