Had a full beard at 15 years old. On spring break that year my buddies encouraged me to try and buy beer. I threw on some “cop killer” sunglasses, an orange hunting hat and walked into the local mobile gas station. Must’ve looked like a 35 year old alcoholic because the lady didn’t even ID me and I walked out of there with two 18 racks of Rolling Rock.
Yesssss Fuck Alabama. They’ll still be in the playoff though unless Auburn or Georgia wins out. Either way it’s looking like two teams from my least favorite conference.
It’s only a springboard season if we show up and compete with osu and win the rest of our games. A blowout loss to osu and I’m not sure you’re correct.
I do wonder sometimes how the offense would look if Dylan got to play the whole year. Most of the time he has played the offense has looked pretty solid.
I love Hockey almost as much as I love football but I’m bummed that it seems the NHL is trying to be sly and eradicate fighting (unofficially). I have the hockey package and have watched dozens of games this year and every time a fight starts to break out the refs swarm
Before the game, “ND is overrated”, after the game, “We beat a very good top 10 ND team”. Which one is it, make up your minds lol. I personally feel ND was a good team but they have no backup plan in inclement weather. If BK can’t get his pass game working the whole offense wilts and they can’t do shit. I think we were very lucky to get the weather we got, but the tenacity we played with would’ve led to us beating them in any weather.
This team will be 9-2 for the game, but I can’t see us winning that game with the way osu is playing. Our best hope is that it is the same weather as last night because they are a more pass oriented team under Ryan Day than they were with Urbz. If it’s a nice day they’re gonna score at least 31+ and I’m not sure if we can hang 31+ on their very excellent defense.
I’m sick of the mandated Michigan connection by many alums. The only requirement should be is he a good football coach that would represent the university in a positive manner?
I think it’s a tough ask to get ND on a bye the week after such a physical game, BUT, if the offense puts out a similar performance, and the refereeing is neutral, I think we will be in the game all the way through. Norte Dame is a tougher offense than Penn State so we cannot start the game in a hole like we did last night. Can we win? Absolutely!
Refereeing in college and nfl football has been extremely inconsistent this season. A huge game like last nights should warrant a top level officiating crew, but instead we got a crew who called what they wanted instead of what they seen. Several egregious calls and no calls had a real impact on the game and that shouldn’t happen in a game of that magnitude.
The only thing you can call Don Brown out on from this game is the two Hamler TD’s. The rest of the game the defense was a solid unit that tackled well, and got pressure on Clifford multiple times. My only complaint with Brown is that he didn’t learn his lesson from the first Hamler TD. The coverage applied to Hamler the rest of the game kept him mostly silent. Brian Kelly is a smart dude so I hope Brown does rectify that particular scenario as I would expect Kelly to try to exploit that a few times next week.
I don’t know why you would’ve wanted to switch QB’s man. With the exception of the interception and a couple of instances where Shea panicked after his first read fell through, he played very well. You don’t throw a guy like Milton or McCaffery into that environment unless they’ve had some time under their belt or the starter gets injured. If Bell catches that ball Michigan likely goes on to win that game not in spite of Shea Patterson but because of Shea Patterson.
I thought there were some poor situational calls during the game, most notably, putting a safety with no over the top help on Hamler which directly led to 14 points. Otherwise I thought there was improvement all around, and it seemed like the offense got into a rhythm in the second half.
This team should’ve won tonight, but awful coaching early, some bad calls, and some terrible clutch play kept us just short. You can build off this, but it hurts
Proud of our guys for fighting so hard! The guys could’ve quit down 21-0 but they’ve outscored them 21-7 since, all while getting jobbed by the refs at least 2-3 times

31-13 if harbaugh and Shea don’t turtle. 17-13 if they do.

Haskins has improved so much from game one to now.
Go up by 35 put in second stringers, rest for MSU, profit
I don’t get it. He should’ve been on Hamler at PSU too. You’ve gotta play a stud like that.
I wonder if Shea knows what a zone read really is
Only this team can stress me out while up 21 points
DPJ loves him some sideline to sideline
Up 14 let’s give DCaff a drive and see what happens. At least he doesn’t turtle

More commercials than TD passes
But Shea is going to “light it up in the league”
Come on Shea!!!

I liked it better the first 347 times I read it
I refuse to believe that Michigan can’t compete with the big boys. This is Michigan fergodsakes

Pete is just mad because Jim actually did well as a coach in the NFL whereas Nick Saban couldn’t even finish a year ?

This loss is harder to stomach than a blowout

We let a 160 lb WR run for 4 yards
of course
A stop here and there’s still a chance
what a gut wrenching way to lose a game
Well at least we showed up in a prime time game
How do you drop that ball? God fucking dammit
This team is giving me a raging boner
Terrible call there
Charbonnet turned -1 yards into +3 yards
Huuuuuggeeeee
Missed call
Where has this offense been all fucking year?

46 yards to tie this bitch up!
Should get good field position here!
Can’t bail them out here
Yesssssss
Snuff these fuckers out here!!!
Let’s get positive here boys! Positive energy baby we can win this game
