Prediction for the game next week.
I predict an ass beating for Msu. Yes it will be there super bowl, but I don’t think that will matter this year. I think this will be the revenge for the years they bullied us when we were down. Ever here of the battle of San Jacinto? This will be similar, they gone get fucked up by early 2nd quarter. I predict Michigan 45 -3. What do you think?
November 9th, 2019 at 9:39 PM ^
What ever the margin, it won’t be big enough.
November 9th, 2019 at 10:41 PM ^
These games tend to be close no matter how good we are. I hope we destroy them, but I fear an ugly nail biter.
November 9th, 2019 at 9:39 PM ^
Michigan 52-10
November 9th, 2019 at 9:59 PM ^
Please this.
November 9th, 2019 at 10:25 PM ^
How do they get to 10?
70-3
One sad field goal as time expires.
November 9th, 2019 at 10:29 PM ^
We play our game and it will be a fantastic arse kicking.
November 9th, 2019 at 9:39 PM ^
I predict this rivalry game will go better for us then the one on November 30th
November 9th, 2019 at 9:40 PM ^
That’s obvious, but I think we are winning on the 30th. Big House will be lit, they haven’t seen any competition and we are overdue as a mother fucker.
November 9th, 2019 at 10:37 PM ^
Lit as in lit up in red? After the PSU loss tickets to the game dropped a lot on stubhub, OSU fans are probably scooping up 95% of them
November 10th, 2019 at 12:51 AM ^
Yeah, well I scooped up 2 tickets and plan to be there when we have our own LSU moment after 8 years of losing to that cheating program. Time to draw the line. Enough is enough. FUCK EM!!!!
November 10th, 2019 at 6:41 AM ^
We are not LSU.
November 10th, 2019 at 10:34 AM ^
You disagree?
November 10th, 2019 at 12:32 AM ^
Since when does being overdue in college football mean anything?
If it did mean anything, Indiana would’ve beaten Michigan by now.
November 10th, 2019 at 12:57 AM ^
You shut your whore mouth!
November 10th, 2019 at 1:24 AM ^
Shea, if you start passing better than I think we have a shot against OSU. Hopefully the team will be up for THE GAME!
November 10th, 2019 at 3:09 AM ^
What you meant was "better, then". That would imply causality. Using "better than" implies comparison, which made your sentence thoroughly confusing at first.
November 10th, 2019 at 6:47 AM ^
The English on this site makes me wonder....
November 10th, 2019 at 7:46 AM ^
November 10th, 2019 at 1:55 AM ^
Indiana's overdue to beat us too. Sometimes the other program is just better. We'll get OSU soon enough, but I don't think it's this year
November 10th, 2019 at 6:49 AM ^
Heh heh, if we think we are beating this OSU team...
November 10th, 2019 at 10:39 AM ^
The good news is Ryan Day has elected to hide nothing in the playbook. Now we know what OSU's onside kick plan is for when they have to use it. On the other hand, Harbaugh has elected to keep multiple playbook secrets in check. Yeah, that's it ...
November 9th, 2019 at 9:40 PM ^
I called Lee, he says Sparty is fucked, he also got me $5,000,000
November 9th, 2019 at 9:43 PM ^
We were watching those commercials today during the PSU-Minnesota game. Some woman says, "My husband got hit by a semi in Taylor. I called Lee. He got me $1 million!" She never mentioned if her husband lived or died or was crippled from the nipples down, but she had a big-ass novelty check. So fuck her husband! WOO HOO!!!
November 9th, 2019 at 9:40 PM ^
like most folks here, i think we are in a good position to win it, possibly even by a big margin. that said,
November 9th, 2019 at 9:57 PM ^
So, that’s four chicks, then, not seven.
Am I doing this right? ;)
November 9th, 2019 at 10:06 PM ^
yes, which means a 28 pt win, not a 49 pt blow out.
being serious, we need to be very wary, they are like a wounded animal. do i think we'll win, sure. do i think dantonio might use up all his favors with satan to go out with 'glory' vs. michigan, yeah, i think that, too.
November 9th, 2019 at 11:47 PM ^
I totally agree X
last time we had this kind of pregame aroused nipple anticipation we got run over by a crossing-route Mack track in Columbus.
apples and oranges I know but still....I’d rather revel in the schadenfreude NEXT week after a win
November 10th, 2019 at 8:42 AM ^
excatamente.
November 9th, 2019 at 9:43 PM ^
Honestly something tells me we see Shea continue to be mediocre, struggle with pressure, and we lean on the run game to lead us to 24 points. They get 14. A somewhat close game that we don't truly feel too comfortable until very late.
November 9th, 2019 at 10:31 PM ^
You really think that?
If Sparty can't get their game up AT HOME against an Illinois team with far less talent than we have, how do you think they'll do it against us in our own territory? I don't care how "emotionally charged" you are; you can't win games solely on emotion when all other factors work against you.
Our "horrible" game last week put us up 38-7 against a Maryland team with an offense that's comparable to Sparty's in firepower. Think about that for a minute.
November 9th, 2019 at 11:25 PM ^
Yes. I've watched enough football to not assume and expect anything, especially with college kids. Brady Hoke teams should've been massacresd by Ohio St and we somehow were one 2pt conversion from winning in one of them. We should've annihilated Sparty multiple times now in recent years yet they've remained "close" enough to look somewhat respectable. Go ahead and expect us to score 42 and keep them to one lucky td drive. We'll see whos expectations bear out...trust me I hope you're the more accurate one!
November 9th, 2019 at 11:27 PM ^
Yeah, whatever, transitive power of football: We get blown out by Wisconsin, who Illinois beats. So it would make sense that Illinois beat MSU and MSU takes us to the wire.
Except no transitive power in football.
November 10th, 2019 at 1:30 AM ^
I think this year will be another slow-motion throttling. Not a lot of points on either side. The differential won’t be very high (maybe 14-17 points) but we will be in control the whole time. Despite that, we will be uncomfortable watching the entire time. And MSU will think they were awesome.
November 10th, 2019 at 10:49 AM ^
Multiple runs into a stacked box, hoping the multiple body blows will wear them out by the 4th qtr.
November 9th, 2019 at 9:44 PM ^
Pain?
November 9th, 2019 at 9:47 PM ^
A beat down is well deserved, however, I'll wait to make a prediction.
It does appear that the little brother growth spurt is over though.
November 9th, 2019 at 9:49 PM ^
Michigan should win big and I hope Harbaugh doesn't take his foot off the gas. With that said, it seems this year that teams are coming out flat out of bye weeks. So, maybe Michigan scores 21, the home crowd scores another 14, and Michigan State scores 14.
November 9th, 2019 at 9:51 PM ^
I predict Josh Uche and Cam McGrone are going to meet Brian Lewerke often.
November 9th, 2019 at 9:53 PM ^
27-6 Michigan State
November 9th, 2019 at 10:07 PM ^
keyboard broken?
127-6.
November 11th, 2019 at 9:22 AM ^
You serious, Clark?
November 9th, 2019 at 9:54 PM ^
It will be a close win. State will play their best game of the season but it won't be enough to beat Michigan
November 9th, 2019 at 9:55 PM ^
Shartans gonna shart...big time. Wolverines crush Moo-U and Jimmy takes great pleasure in rubbing Mork’s smug face in the fake turf of Michigan Stadium. Go Blue!
November 10th, 2019 at 10:52 AM ^
Would love a "what's your deal?" event post game.
November 9th, 2019 at 9:58 PM ^
Let's just stop before we piss off the football Gods.
Just spartyfreude for the week and wait until the game is over next week.
If we somehow choke this away, we'll never hear the end of it -- just check the ego for 7 days, and next Sunday pray we can wear our Michigan gear to Kroger with our chins up.
Go Blue.
November 9th, 2019 at 9:58 PM ^
I don't know about a score but if UM gets up early, that will be it. If the defense gets after Lewerke early, his throws will go scattershot fast. It's all about the start. They cannot give any reason for MSU to feel good about themselves. If it's hard for Sparty from the get go, they'll pack it in by halftime.
However, I'm actually nervous of the bye week and the team coming out slow and unenthusiastic.
November 10th, 2019 at 12:30 AM ^
Spartans never "feel good about themselves"
They are born with inferiority complexes, fueled in later years by combination of dissonance and roid use. Mork tapped into this well of delusional belief and disrespek and ran it dry over the past decade.
The playoff debacle against Bama reminded the program and the world that it was all a fraud, they will never have the talent to be elite, and you can only turn on the wind and rain machine so many times in B1G matches before you get exposed by superior teams.
They have regressed to their historical mean (6-6) and Harbaugh has brought us back to our historical mean (9-3). At home, with a chance to step on their throats and Harbaugh to crap on a rival, I take
UM 34 Sexual Assaulting Morks 6
November 9th, 2019 at 9:58 PM ^
There's a good chance that Lewerke is out because of a possible concussion, so that means they'll be down to a 3rd-string QB on the road. That's...suboptimal.
My guess is the game is ugly and chippy, so probably not a massive blowout but more one of those slow-motion beatings where Michigan wins by, like 17 but outgains MSU by 250 yards.
November 9th, 2019 at 11:02 PM ^
They didn’t take Lewerke out today, right after he was concussed. Do you think they’re going to sit him for the Michigan game? According to Mork, they checked him out and he’s fine. Which is probably BS, but he’s playing next week.
If it’s Lombardi starting next week, it will truly be a 49-3, 2002 style blasting though. So I’m cool with that.
