Extremely intrigued by All’s…

Extremely intrigued by All’s usage in the run game. His blocking was a calling card for last year’s offense. Unwilling to risk injury against an inferior opponent?

What about Davis makes you…

What about Davis makes you think we'd be cracking skulls on D? His development has been awesome and he's a great story but he's still a liability on the defensive end.

Only thing I would change is…

Only thing I would change is Rumler over Barnhart, but that's speculation at this point.

How many of those top 3…

How many of those top 3 tacklers played on the defensive line?

He was 2016, that's my bad,…

He was 2016, that's my bad, missed him on the roster because of the unconventional number. The point still stands though, it's misleading to act like the line on both sides of the ball was built on Ohio talent. Especially the offensive line.

Besides Kalis and Wormley,…

Besides Kalis and Wormley, who was a significant contributor on either line in 2016 that we recruited from Ohio? Not to mention that saying Hoke rebuilt our offensive line is some incredible revisionist history.

In regards to Turner, I don…

In regards to Turner, I don't think it was just fumbles keeping him off the field. There was a noticeable drop in pass protection ability with him on the field at running back. It's always been tough to see the field as a running back for this staff if your pass blocking isn't up to snuff. Hopefully some offseason film study will help him to identify his assignment more reliably. I agree he appeared to have more burst when he did see the field. I think the offense could really benefit from that burst at running back, whether it's from him or possibly more of the package that Jackson lined up in the backfield. Next year's edition of the offense could really use a guy that's a threat to house it any given time he's on the field.

Fuck Ohio!

Fuck Ohio!

Khaleke Hudson wore the F7…

Khaleke Hudson wore the F7 last year, not sure who else, most guys on our team rock the Speedflex or Z10. The F7 looks cool as hell, IMO.

OP isn't looking for an enthusiast rig like that, you could buy an entire console for the price of just the 1080. A PC with a 1050Ti would be a pretty good alternative to a console, unfortunately OP wouldn't find a 1060 anywhere near MSRP with the recent mining craze.

Went to high school with

Went to high school with Brandon, he wasn't great at writing then, he isn't great at writing now. Michigan coverage in the media will still be just as good.

I think we went Lloydball

I think we went Lloydball because the only possession that included a first down after the fourth quarter started was in overtime. That's it.

Why not put in the hands of

Why not put it in the hands of the guy who got you the lead even in spite of the two picks he threw? We had three positions in the 4th, it was puzzling to continue to go conservative after it obviously did not work on the first two possessions of the quarter.

Hence the phrasing "late in

Hence the phrasing "late in the Ohio State game".

I think it's fair to say that

I think it's fair to say that both Lloydball play calling late in the Ohio State game and our offense's inability to run the ball when it mattered cost us a shot at a national championship this year. We are nowhere near the level of the Stanford lines Harbaugh and Drevno built, although hopefully that changes as the line transistions from a Hoke line to a Harbaugh line.

Speight has said himself he's Speight has said himself he's never live in practice, I can't remember which interview but it's on YouTube. Practicing in full pads says nothing about his ability to take a hit this week.
Confirmation that Wilton

Confirmation that Wilton Speight is the best QB in the B1G.

That's the point, blow it all

That's the point, blow it all up to stock up on prospects and build that way. We still have enough good players to acquire some good prospects. Try to become the next Cubs, that's exactly how they did it.

Whoosh.

Whoosh.

Speight has been good

Speight has been good in my opinion. The Colorado perfomance was an abberation we can chalk up to injury, and he was very steady in the first two games barring a few mistakes. The Colorado game defintely answered questions about Speight's intangibles for me though, we've already seen him come in cold off of the bench in a primetime game and win, now we've seen him play through injury as well. Hopefully this will help the team play for him even harder.

As for Speight's capacity to develop, this is only his 2nd year under a real QB coach. I'm not too familiar with the quality of QB coaching that Rudock received in Iowa, but I'm certain it wasn't worse than what Hoke's staff was giving to Speight. I think it's fair to say that we will certainly see Speight get better and better as he gets more experience, it may not be as dramatic as Rudock at the end of last year, but it will be there.

Speight has been using his Speight has been using his wheels though, his ability to extend plays inside and outside of the pocket with his feet this year is one of the best parts of his game in my opinion.
If you don't want to come and If you don't want to come and help give our team some home field advantage, then why didn't you just stay at home and watch on TV?
After Don Brown's comments in After Don Brown's comments in his recent interview I would move Uche to the third string SAM spot under Peppers and Furbush, that seems to be where he's playing for now.
Yeah, the mention of Evans in Yeah, the mention of Evans in conversation with the first string guys and how he's been outstanding tells me we could be seeing a healthy dosage of the spread again, and I know that's been talked about before. If it gets the running game to a better place than it was last year, I'm all for it.
Pure nose tackles aren't Pure nose tackles aren't valued highly by the NFL, so I think it's a case of him lacking some hype. After another season I'm sure he'll get some recognition.
Stribling is gone after this Stribling is gone after this year, just FYI. I don't think we'll have a problem finding 2 corners and 2 safeties that can start, but what happens if a starter goes down, especially at safety?
Interesting to note that Uche Interesting to note that Uche seems to be the heir apparent to Jabrill Peppers at SAM, not Khaleke Hudson. I like that development, Uche needs less time in the weight room to hit his playing weight than if he was pegged at WDE, and our secondary is going to need some talent after the mass exodus following this season.

Harbaugh has shown just how

Harbaugh has shown just how dangerous a dual threat QB can be at San Diego and San Francisco. I think he's going to go with whoever is the best and then call plays according to their strengths. Given our question marks on the offensive line and how the running game still isn't up to par, I wouldn't be shocked to see O'Korn because of his versatility in that regard.

I think it's actually very I think it's actually very possible that Fisch leaves before Drevno, possibly to return to the NFL in some capacity.
Harbaugh will mix in the read Harbaugh will mix in the read option when he has the right QB. Watch some of San Francisco under Harbaugh, they did run some read option with Kaepernick.
You don't line up at wide You don't line up at wide receiver consistently in the spring game if you have a shot to start at QB.

Definitely, our schedule sets

Definitely, our schedule sets up very nicely! 2017 should be interesting, with Harbaugh recruited guys entering their 2nd and 3rd years, it will be our first glimpse of whether Harbaugh is going to turn us into a program like Alabama or Ohio State that simply reloads every year.

I have mostly the same

I have mostly the same feelings, with some misgivings about our running game. I just want to hold off on annoiting them until they've proved it.

I'm ok with it. Both O'Korn

I'm ok with it. Both O'Korn and Speight impressed me to varying degrees in the spring game, but the fact still is we have an unknown at the most important position on the field. Our defense looks to be fantastic, but we do have to replace an entire position group that was already lackluster. As great as our line and secondary are, we're going to be in trouble again against spread to run teams if we can't seal the edge. People point to missing Glasgow as the main reason OSU ran all over us, but the real culprit was our complete inability to seal the edge against their power read, because of our unathletic linebackers.

I think that we will come together, find our QB, and get some decent play from more athletic linebackers than last year's starters, but we haven't yet, and #12 is reflective of that.

They'll go 4-0 against They'll go 4-0 against Nebraska, Northwestern, PSU, and Wisconsin alone. Ohio State under Urban Meyer does not have to rebuild, they'll be fully stocked with NFL talent next year as well, the same as last year. I don't expect them to post any less than 9 wins for the foreseeable future given the caliber of recruits they bring in and the ability of their coach. It's unfortunate, but it's how it is.
He's already committed to He's already committed to Washington State. He has found another chance, just wondering when he'll be able to sign, because he's taken visits elsewhere too.
Thanks, was wondering if Thanks, was wondering if anyone on the board had knowledge of this transfer process that went beyond what this article covered.
Did anything ever come of LTT Did anything ever come of LTT committing to Washington State? Not sure what the situation was on that, never heard confirmation that he signed or when his deadline was.
Just a prediction based on Just a prediction based on previous LTT threads that ended up being locked. No need to get your panties in a wad.

You want to bet on that? You want to bet on that? Tuition isn't cheap and I could use some free money.
It's just a part of the It's just a part of the ticket allocation process. It would be an absolute mess if they waited until we were confirmed to be playing in the game to take requests for tickets.
I'd rather drive home at 3AM I'd rather drive home at 3AM than drive to the stadium at 4AM to tailgate for a pointless noon kick... Night games are great, but I'll settle for 3:30, if I must.
That might be the root of his That might be the root of his problem, but at the end of the day, if you can't block you can't play fullback. As for Green, he needs to be able to run through contact, not just like it, to play fullback or get more reps at halfback.
Because one of the main Because one of the main things originally holding Issac back from being the starter, before the fumbles, was his lack of blocking ability. Fullbacks are blockers first and foremost, so that's not a good look. As for Green, if he can't find a hole with a fullback leading him through it, how the hell is he supposed to lead someone through a hole?
Don't forget Viramontes. Don't forget Viramontes. Remains to be seen if he will play QB, but still, Harbaugh won't shy away from a QB just because he has some mobility.
