I’ve listened to a lot of radio broadcasts for different teams, a position where you’re expected to be a homer. I find Blaha and Strayhorn to be the whiniest, most classless, and most homerish out of all of them...plus you have to deal with Strayhorn’s idiotic outbursts.
How many of these one score games were with inferior opponents that had no business keeping the game within one score? I’m not sure that would correlate with great coaching.
I totally agree that MSU believes they will win in tight games. I’d love for our team to start developing that belief by winning more of these tight games.
Initially, I felt like I was being a pessimist for thinking ND had the edge going into the game. We lost and now I’m an optimist because I don’t believe the season is over. It’s all very confusing.
I love that the young guys we'll be depending on next year have been getting so much experience in practice and games. We actually have a forward thinking coaching staff!
Thankfully the October 15th only falls on Saturday roughly once a decade. Other than that, the future Mrs. is very accommodating when it comes to games (so far).
I scheduled my wedding for this Saturday! Plus one to the future Mrs. for going along with it! Unfortunately I come back and work a night shift on the 29th so I'll also be hoping for a noon kickoff.
Timing makes sense. I've got to believe the coaches want to treat this upcoming week as a regular practice week with the 1's and 2's mostly decided. One week to go! Thanks, OP!
Driving through a snowstorm across the UP on 1/1/98 to get to my grandparents with the radio on. Finally, we made it in time to watch the second half of the Rose Bowl. I was only 7 but remember it very well.
Looks like he is also a highly ranked SF. Has there been any indication what sport he would prefer to play?
He looks like someone that Harbaugh would love, multi-sport and seems to block with enthusiasm unknown mankind! Plus, who wouldn't love a 6'5" WR that has the ability to catch away from his body and get down field in a hurry?!
Our enemies shall rue the day McDoom enters their stadiums clad in maize and blue!
I remember feeling quite doubtful with big time recruits late in the process the last few years, i.e. Hand/McDowell. It feels nice to not be doubtful that few, if any, of the above mentioned recruits are going to wind up in AA.
The past few years I'd describe Indiana as littler little brother. You know, the accidental child your parents had your senior year of high school. You're away from home now so it's fun to watch all of his sports games; however, you haven't had to listen to the constant whining and "that isn't fair" tantrums of your little brother that you grew up sharing the same room with (and now still crashes at your place without rinsing out his cereal bowls). Sure, littler brother is little and cute, but you still remind him of his place playing 21 in the driveway during the occasional weekend visit.
I expect both fans will be become better acquainted with our d-line next year when they set up camp in the backfields of both schools next year, regardless of who is starting!
The quality of the threads goes downhill very fast after the season...but with there being 200 some days until Hawaii, my money is on a Harbaugh gauntlet involving full contact basketball, Peruball, and whole milk chugging. Winner gets number 5 and a large amount of glory.
I have several friends that have been lifelong PSU fans. They've been all about getting away from Sandusky and Paterno. "Several friends" is a lot different than living there though, so I defer to your opinion.
Anyone trying to white wash Paterno can go jump off the top of Beaver Stadium. I don't hear or see much of that going on, however; my involvement with PSU is admittedly limited to my several friends.
My long weekend consists of 12 hour shifts dealing with people having a lot more fun than me! Seriously, enjoy your weekend for those of us who won't be (other than the paycheck) and take some time Monday to remember the sacrifices made for our freedom.
If you look close enough, you can see his shoes aren't double knotted. This is awful, I expected better.
In all seriousness, this over analization of practice video is a little rediculous. Who knows what speed or percentage they were told to go for this drill or that drill? Who knows exactly what they were supposed to be doing for each drill? Bottom line is that it's pretty silly to try and analyze where this team is going to be in the fall based on snippets from an early spring practice. Remain calm and Harbaugh on!

The toddleresque tantrum on rcmb was an enjoyable read.

I want to know what MineralKing thinks.
This is my biggest complaint with the play calling.
I miss Higdon very much.
Today has been a good day. That is all.

I wouldn’t mind seeing Ronnie Bell at PR instead of DPJ. He seems to be fast, quick, does well finding creases, and gets all available yardage.
Although losing any WR to injury would hurt, Bell would sting less than DPJ!
If Hobson is done for the year, we’re screwed. There’s no one to take his place.
Manual upvote for you, sir.
