Stalker and Solaris...  both…

Stalker and Solaris...  both Tarkovsky films.  Best two sci-fi movies of all-time, hands down.

Quest for Fire.  Unbelievable film directed  by Jean-Jacques Annaud and a bunch of French Canadian anthropologists.

Fear of a Black Hat.  Probably the best comedy of all-time.

Come and See.  Hard to watch.  But the best war movie of all-time.

Nobody’s Fool and Fat Man and Little Boy.  Paul Newman’s the best actor of all-time..  and he was at his very best towards the end of his career.

Lonesome Dove.  4 1hr’ish long TV episodes.  I consider it a movie.  Robert Duvall, Tommy Lee Jones, Danny Glover.  Best Wstrn of all time—great book too.

True Romance.  Tarantino’s best film.  Best Detroit-based movie of all-time as well.

Romy and Michelle’s High School Reunion.  Best chick flick of all-time..  great if you’ve got a girl who grew up in the 90’s.

So I Married an Axe Murderer.  Mr. Saturday Night.  Mystery Men.  Stuart Saves his Family.  The Great White Hype.  Celtic Pride.  Jesus’ Son.  The Razor’s Edge (1984).  The Bad Seed (1957, I think).

***young guys (and old)—check some of those ^ trailers.

What is the harm in spending…

What is the harm in spending money our rich program has and at least attempting to employ quality recruiters?

Who’s leaving a coordinator…

Who’s leaving a coordinator role?

And people leave for Significant raises.  Which is what a school like ours can and should be offering.

And missed out on plenty of…

And missed out on plenty of great ones.

why dont we spend money on…

why dont we spend money on assistants like OSU, Bama, Clemson, etc?

We’re the 3rd richest college football program in the country, behind Texas and TA&M.

We lose to ohio state… We lose to ohio state because ohio state has more talent than us. Plain and simple. If I was Harbaugh.. 1) I would’ve matched whatever $$$ Ole Miss gave Partridge and a “Co-DC” title. If Brown didn’t like it.. don’t let the door hit you. 2) I would’ve replaced Campanile with A. A-Hakim (formerly UMass’ DC), who Jeff Hafley just hired over at BC. He’s The best recruiter there is in the DMV area period.. and area we should be attacking. 3) I would’ve told Zordich, who apparently doesn’t like recruiting, to logically take an NFL job. I would’ve thrown all the money in the world at Titans DB / Former OSU asst. (who they’re rumored to be bringing back) Kerry Coombs. That guy can recruit Ohio as well as anyone, and anywhere else as well as anyone for that matter. 4) I would’ve fired Shaun Nua, who also apparently can’t recruit, and thrown a big big time contract at Penn State’s Sean Spencer. That guy recruits PA and VA as well as anyone in the country. 5) I would’ve sent Jay off to uncle John and begged Ty Wheatley to come back home. In state recruiting has been a complete joke since we lost him. 6) I would’ve thrown a big big contract at OSU’s Greg Studwara, Mattison-style. Great OL coach. And an incredible OL recruiter.. esp in Ohio. 7) I would’ve fired Josh McDaniels, who doesn’t recruit. I’d replace him with Tim Beck.. who Texas just fired. And who is probably the best recruiter there is in the state of Texas period. And who actually has a very good record as a coach.
“The Problem” is two fold:

“The Problem” is two fold:

1) Harbaugh isn’t an elite offensive, or defensive mind.  He’s not an elite (or even interested recruiter).  He’s not a great developer of QB’s, or of talent at any other position.  He’s no longer able to hire great coordinators, or assistants (his forte at Stanford and San Fran).  He’s never been able to put a staff together here that had more than 1 or 2 truly elite recruiters on it.  The fact is..  the guy went into quasi-retirement shortly after Najee Harris signed with Alabama.  He’s paid an absurd amount of money.  And all he is — truly/basically — is an empty waste of a coaching staff slot that could be occupied by a recruiter.

2) Administration Policy/Conduct/Attitude (Fanbase attitude as well).  I am so sick of hearing all the whining.  Everyone pays players.  No one else really has classes.  Michigan is “different”.  Blah, blah, blah, blah.  Shut the hell up.  What are We going to do about it?  How are we going to beat the bastards, legally?  How can we even try?  Because the fact is, all you are now are a bunch of whiney, irrelevant losers.

-Step 1: Replace Harbaugh with someone who is an elite offensive/defensive mind and/or an elite recruiter.  My top choices would be either Jeff Scott (newly named USF HC, former Clemson Co-OC.....the best recruiter in the nation, period) or newly named Carolina Panthers OC Joe Brady.

-Step 2: Where the fuck is all our football program’s profit going??  Michigan is the 3rd richest football program in the country (behind only Texas and Texas A&M)..  but spends only the 8th most on assistant coaches?  Alabama, Clemson, OSU, Tennessee, LSU and Georgia’s football programs all generate considerably less revenue than ours.  Yet they all spend more on assistants than us.  Why is Ole Miss poaching our best assistant?  Why can’t we poach a Kentucky assistant?

...Maybe the answer to this question — how can we win national championships in this corrupt era? — is as simple as this.  Use our resources.  2nd largest fanbase/media market in America.  Biggest alumni group in America.  3rd richest football program in America.  Biggest stadium in America.  Facilities, History and TV/NFL scouting exposure that is absolutely 2nd to none.  A degree that is virtually 2nd to none amongst major football programs...

Why don’t we just legally re-set the standard on how much assistant coaches are paid in major college football??  We could easily afford to.  And what is the loss??  The crew team, field hockey team, whatever team don’t get $10M+ stadium, practice and training facility upgrades??  Boo-f’king-hoo.

Say you pay a great recruiter-head coach $5M.  You pay two elite coordinators $2M each ($4M total).  You pay eight elite recruiting assistants $1M each ($8M total).  Total salary would be.....   $17M.  Also known as...   exactly what Alabama pays its coaching staff.

—And another thing.  This academic bs.  Everyone that goes to Michigan as a Pre-Med Major isn’t going to get into Med School.  A lot of the pre-business kids aren’t going to get into the b-school.  A lot of history/econ majors aren’t going to get into law school.  A lot of poly sci kids are never going to be elected to anything.  A lot of engineering students are going to get pushed into civil engineering or whatever.  The University will still give them every opportunity it can to reach their goals.

.....A kid comes here to get to the NFL.  He might not make it.  Why is everyone so obsessed with his back-up plan, and not the aspiring lawyers?  If these kids (95% of whom wouldn’t be accepted as students) want to try to get real degrees, let them.  There’s 3 out of season semesters a yr to knock yourselves out.  If they just want to take basic online classes and get a general studies degree / focus on their dream...  what the hell is wrong with that?  And who is anyone to tell them that they should be focusing on their backup plan?

At least one semester a yr, this football program needs to treat football like a business, like professionals, like Ohio St.

I have..  many things to say…

I have..  many things to say.

#1) I have ZERO interest in Ever rooting for, being, or “accepting” being a 2nd-tier program.  I want us to be in the playoffs most yrs.  I want us to win the Big Ten most yrs.  I want us to beat Ohio St. most yrs.  I want us to be a better program than Ohio St.  I want us to be the best program there is in the North.  And I want to see us win some national championships before I die.  This is not Michigan State.  We do not accept 2nd best at anything.  We are not happy with 2nd best at anything.  We are not happy with blowout losses, to anyone, Ever.  We are not happy with 9-4 Fking seasons, when 8 of our wins are against garbage teams.

If you disagree with anything I said there ^..  you’re a fking loser.  Bo would be embarrassed to have you as a fan.  And you should go to East Lansing.

#2) Michigan is the 3rd richest football program in the country (behind Texas and Texas A&M).  Michigan has the 2nd biggest fanbase in the entire country (behind Ohio St.).  Michigan has the biggest alumni base in the country.  Michigan has the biggest stadium in the country.  Michigan has tv/media exposure, facilities, history and tradition that is absolutely 2nd to none.  Michigan offers a degree that is virtually 2nd to none amongst major football powers.  Michigan has the Exact same academic entrance standards as Clemson/Ohio St./Bama/LSU/UGA/whoever.  There is absolutely Zero reason that we shouldn’t be able to field an elite program here.

#3) 95% of the scholarship players on the football team would have absolutely zero chance of getting into this school on their academic merits alone.  So just shut up.  If a guy wants to be a normal student, he’s got 3/4 semesters a yr to bust his ass and be one.  If a guy just wants to take online general studies courses for 3 yrs before going pro — while helping to make millions for the university — give him that option, too.  These guys are here because of football, for football.  No ifs ands or buts about it.  1 or 2 semesters a yr they can stand to treat it like a business, like professionals; like Ohio St. does.

#4) Harbaugh’s done.  His 1st yr, he recruited like a mad man.  Rashan Gary.  Climbing David Long’s tree.  Sleeping over with Quinn Nordin.  Satellite camps. Innovative recruiting hires — Partridge, Bush Sr, the guy from Alabama.  The next yr he was very involved in Najee Harris’ recruitment, and in Chuck Filiaga’s late.  Ever since...   crickets.  When’s the last time you read a story about Harbaugh even so much as calling a recruit personally?  Let alone visit?  The guy’s enthusiasm for this sport is gone.  He’s become the outworked (the grossly outworked).  He wants to stay home and enjoy time with his young family.  He doesn’t run the offense.  He doesn’t run the defense.  He doesn’t recruit, or even organize/get involved with recruiting..  apparently.  He doesn’t coach special teams.  He just walks around like 2000’s Joe Paterno doing nothing and cashing checks.  He treats this like an emeritus position.  He’s half retired.

#5) Recruiting (on field talent) is 95% of success in college football.  I want our head coach to be The absolute best recruiter in the nation.  We’ve got money for days..  you can hire great coordinators (every yr if they leave).  You can hire 8 stud recruiters as assistant coaches (and just replace them as they leave).

Jeff Scott (newly named HC at USF, current Co-OC at Clemson) has recruited better than anyone in the country the past 5 yrs.  I wouldn’t mind seeing someone like him, or hell—Fleck, in the head chair.  LSU Co-OC Joe Brady would be the first assistant I threw $2+ mil a yr at from there.

Team as a whole next year:

Team as a whole next year:

#1: QB.  This is the area for most potential improvement in 2020; and far and away..  the most important area on this (and most) teams.  For whatever reason, be it work ethic, mental ability, time or whatever..  Patterson never really grasped Gattis’ offense.  His RPO reads were always terrible—and our QB running game was rarely a threat.  His downfield reads were far too often late, or not made at all.  His throwing accuracy left a ton to be desired.  His ball security/INT’s were often death nails.  Patterson, IMO, was the single biggest factor holding Gattis’ offense back, and preventing it from being truly explosive.  I’m very optimistic that either DMC or Milton can give us much more next season.

#2) Defense:

...DT’s.  Sounds like Kemp should be back.  He and Dwumfour will likely be at least a little bit better.  Hinton and Mazi (you hope) should give us solid depth.  Jeter’s there for injury depth.

...DE’s.  Hutch and Paye should give us one of the better end-pairings in the country, ala Gary and Chase.  Luigi and Upshaw behind them..  but Ojabo and McGregor w higher ceilings.

...LB’s.  Ross and McGrone should be one of the better LB pairings in the country.  Mullings, a depth guy, another incoming frosh, or Gil (should he be back) will have to be your 3rd rotational.

...Vip/Sam.  Will be interesting what Brown does next yr.  No real Sam guys on the roster beyond Uche.  Maybe one of the incoming frosh (Mullings?).  Solomon, Barnett, Velazquez, Mohan, Morant..  who knows who will emerge there.  Brown will have to get creative.

...CB.  Ambry and Gray should be solid.  DJ and one of the true frosh, or a depth guy, seem like solid competition - potentially - for a 3rd CB.

...S.  Should be significantly better.  Hawkins returns a yr better.  Hill should be very good.  Morant and Q. Johnson, I think, should provide solid depth.  Metellus really hurt us this yr, IMO.

...Defense, as a whole, looks like it should be better next yr.  But Brown really, really needs to start evolving what he’s doing against elite teams..  or he’ll be gone next yr..  or he’ll get Jim fired.

#3: OL.  Next to QB, your biggest concern.  In Stueber, Mayfield and Hayes you’ve got 3 guys who’ve all played some.  The favorites to start at this point, I’d imagine would be..  LT: Hayes, LG: Filiaga/Rumler, C: Carpenter/Rumler, RG: Stueber, RT: Mayfield.  It’ll be a good yr for Warriner to earn his paycheck.  Potentially that could end up being a solid group.

#4.  WR’s/TE’s.  Nico’s one of the best WR’s in the country, IMO.  Bell’s been very productive.  Johnson and Henning behind them.  Jackson and Saintistil in the slot.  Eubanks, All, Schoonmaker at TE.  Should be a strength.

#5.  RB.  Charbonnet and Haskins back better.  Enter Evans and Corum.  Turner still there.  Hard to imagine this not being a better group next yr.

...Offense, in general.  Second yr in Gattis’ system.  Talent enough all-around, if Warriner can get the OL into shape.  If we’ve got a capable QB back there who knows what’s going on..  we could take a really big jump.

***Schedule***:

@Washington.  Eek.

Ball St.  Win.

Arkansas St.  Win.

Wisconsin.  Eek.

Penn St.  Eek.

@MSU.  Should be a tough win.

@Minnesota.  Could be tough to not replace Harbaugh w Fleck if we lose this game..  and we definitely could.

Purdue.  Should be a tough win.

Maryland.  Should be a getting tougher win.

@Rutgers.  Should be a win.

Indiana.  Should be a tough win.

...There’s at least 4 toss-up games there; 3 of them in conference (Wisconsin, Penn St, @Minnesota).  Probably need to win at least 2 of those 3 games, take care of business elsewhere............

and beat Ohio St. in Columbus

for it to be a successful season.  I don’t see OSU stumbling against anyone next yr.

*****

QB play will need to be great.  OL will need to be solid.  Brown will need to adjust his defense—and our secondary must play near mistake-free football.

You’re a moron.  Shut the F…

You’re a moron.  Shut the F up and become an MSU fan.

1) What were Nick Saban’s ties to Alabama upon being hired there?  What were Urban Meyer’s connections to Florida?

2) What was the combined HC’ing record of Dabo Swinney, Ryan Day, Lincoln Riley and Kirby Smart before being hired to their current positions?  *Clue: 0-0

Is there anywhere to watch…

Is there anywhere to watch American Football period in the Pretoria/Jo-Burg area in South Africa?

Could care less if there are other Michigan fans there.

...For whatever reason I’m not able to access the map in the sticky thread from the servers here.  Sorry.

I’ll mail an autographed Ben Mason rugby ball (this summer) to whoever can help me out

The thing I absolutely hate…

The thing I absolutely hate most about Michigan football..

It’s the 3rd most valuable football program in the country according to the most recent Forbes measurement (2nd biggest football fanbase in the country according to the most recent New York Times measurement).  The football program alone generates almost $1B in pure profit per yr.  How much of that is wasted on unnecessary scoreboard renovations, field hockey stadiums, crew workout facilities, etc?

Why penny-pinch when it comes to what actually affects the on-field product??  Why not just set the standard for assistant pay and actually be competitive nationally?

If I was Warde..  I’d at least double all of these guys’ salaries..  and put together the most dominant MW/NE recruiting team of all-time..

HC: Brent Venables (Clemson).  Best DC in the game.  Best recruiter there is in the state of Missouri.

OC/WR: Tony Elliott (Clemson).  Best OC in the game.

DC/LB: Brent Pry (Penn St.).  Best recruiter there is in the state of VA.

Co-OC/PGC/QB: Kevin Wilson (Ohio St.).  Co-best recruiter there is in the state of OH.

RGC/RB: Charles Huff (Alabama).  Co-best recruiter there is in the state of MD.

Asc.HC/WR&TE: Terrence Samuel (Michigan St.)  Best recruiter there is in the state of MI.

OL: Greg Studrawa (Ohio St.).  One of the best recruiters there is in the state of OH..  and of OL nationally.

RGC/DT: Sean Spencer (Penn St.).  Co-best recruiter there is in the state of MD.

Ast.HC/DE: Larry Johnson (Ohio St.).  Co-best recruiter there is in the state of OH.

PGC/CB: Terry Smith (Penn St.).  Best recruiter there is in the state of PA.

STC/S: Chris Partridge (Michigan).  Best recruiter there is in the state of NJ.

RC: Kerry Coombs (TEN Titans).  Best recruiter maybe there’s ever been in the state of OH.

^ That staff altogether makes less than $20M per yr..  estimating high.  And you’d for sure take over the Big Ten.

Best option: Venables (#3 S&P+ Def in ‘18) + Elliott or Scott (#3 S&P+ Off in ‘18).

...In his contract at Florida, he had it written that he could opt out of his contract (with no buyout) to take the HC’ing job at 3 schools: OSU, ND and Michigan.  He’s pissed at OSU for, in his opinion, hanging him out to dry re: the Zach Smith saga.  He looks to me like he’s got about a decade of coaching left in him.  He’s 8th all-time right now w 3 NC’s (tied w 7 others).  1 more and he’d be 6th all-time (tied w 2 others).  2 more and he’d be 3rd all-time (tied w WOODY Hayes and 2 others).  3 more and he’ll be tied as the all-time best w Bear Bryant and Nick Saban.  Do not underestimate this man’s ego, or how important his legacy is to him — being called the greatest of all-time.  He’d be the surest thing to save our program for sure.  He’d put together an outstanding staff, two great coordinators and a group of elite MW/NE recruiters.  He’d probably turn us into THE power in the B1G within 2-3 yrs.  He’d probably win at least 1 national championship.  The Michigan PR machine could probably spin the Zach Smith/other past fine enough.  The fanbase would be too excited to care.  It could work.  ***That being said..  USC is an infinitely better job.  He could basically pick his own AD.  He’d be the biggest celebrity in Hollywood.  He could get a new, younger, hotter wife.  He’d have an immoral fan base that couldn’t care less if he killed someone.  His family wouldn’t get anthrax mailed to their house (at least not weekly).  And he could win 3 NC’s without ever having to get on a plane to recruit.  If USC can get their shit together enough to have someone call him..  he’s there.

2) Venables.

He’s the best defensive mind in college football today, period.  He (/our $$) would be able to bring one of Clemson’s Co-OC’s with him..  and that’s probably the best offense in college football right now. He’s personally an elite recruiter, and smart enough to put together a staff that could recruit the region (in spite of not having much recruiting experience in the region outside of the DMV).  He’s been the #2 man at a top-5 program for the last 20 yrs, and is still only 48 yrs old.  He’s got more than enough experience for the job, he knows how it’s done at the highest level, and he’s never once even been rumored to be involved in any below board activity.  He’d be outstanding.  The perfect answer to Ryan Day and the OSU machine.  A hire that would most definitely have us in NT contention if supported financially re: staff pay.

3) Moorehead.

His PSU offenses were elite.  His DC (Bob Shoop, a Yale man) at Miss St. is elite — #1 S&P+ defense in college football last yr.  8-5 (4-4) in his 1st season at Miss St.  3-1 so far this yr (lost to Kansas St..  eek).

This list seriously makes me want to walk into oncoming traffic.  And is the first true sign of Michigan football actually coming to an end.  YOU “fans”/alums/donors are such morons that THESE are the only options Michigan football (2nd biggest fanbase in the country; 3rd richest program in the country) has.  Its the actual end unless there is a DRASTIC AND IMMEDIATE change amongst all the major decision makers.

BRONCO MENDENHALL!!!!!!???  He’s your best option!!!??  He’s 20-22 in 4 yrs at Virginia!!?  He went 4-4 in conference last yr....  in the worst p5 conference in america (basically clemson plus the mac right now)...  and you guys are saying he TURNED THEM AROUND???

David Shaw!!?  A 1-3 coach is on “the realistic list”.  He’d be on our already fired list if he was 1-3 here???  USC, Washington, Washington St, UCLA, maybe Oregon, maybe even Arizona St.  have all surpassed in in the Pac12..  and hes our SECOND BEST choice??

Kyle Whittingham — the only guy who isnt passing David Shaw — is next?  A 9-5 coach last yr??  5 loss guys are on our list??  Who haven’t won anything since the Mountain West conference in 2008??  Those guys are on our list??

A guy who just lost 0-42 to Ohio State is on THE F’ING LIST!!!?

A Syracuse coach who just lost 6-41 to Clemson is on THE F’ING LIST!!!!?

A guy with a 21-20 record at Iowa St!!!?

A guy who the entire nation just demanded the scumiest school in the country fire is the only reap name on that list.

Mike Gundy — a guy who went 7-6 last yr (aka FIRED here)...   is the best name on the list.

***********

MAYBE.  Just Maaaaaaaaaybe.  You pompous A-holes should be a little less sensitive about Clemson boosters and Venables not being a “Michigan Man.”

Because the program is about to f’ing die.  Dead.

The program’s lost (again). …

The program’s lost (again).  You want to be elite again.  I’m telling you how we can do it.

1-Venables is THE best option.  He knows what it takes to build & run an Elite program.  He’s got more than enough experience (Elite-level experience) for the job.  He’s probably THE best defensive mind in the country.  He, personally, is an Elite recruiter.  He’s smart enough to put a staff together that’ll be able to recruit the region.  He’s never been in any trouble with the NCAA whatsoever (or even rumored to be).  He’s not going to get into any trouble here.  And he would most definitely accept a Harbaugh-like offer to run one of the top-10 programs in the country; probably wouldn’t even require as much $$.

2-Make either Tony Elliott or Jeff Scott (Clemson’s co-OC’s) your OC, and the new highest-paid assistant coach in the country.  Clemson will pick one and counter to keep him, we’ll get the other.  I’m guessing they’ll opt to keep Scott — as he’s probably THE best recruiter in the country period.  And I’d honestly prefer Elliott anyways..  as he’s the real brains behind that offense..  which just happens to be THE best offense in the country (especially against elite-level defenses; i.e. in the CFP..  in the B1G championship..  against OSU..  ND, UW, PSU, MSU, etc.).

3-Spend $$ where it counts and put together a real-deal Midwest/Northeast recruiting staff.  Ohio.  Michigan.  Pennsylvania.  Maryland.  DC.  Virginia.  New Jersey.  St. Louis.  Chicago.  This is our land.

-Chris Partridge.  No one recruits New Jersey better.

-Sherrone Moore.  No one recruits Michigan or Illinois better.

-Corey Patterson (Illinois).  No one recruits Missouri better.

-Az-Zahir Rahim (UMass).  No one recruits Maryland/DC better.

-Brent Pry (Penn St.).  No one recruits Pennsylvania or New Jersey better.

-Sean Spencer (Penn St.).  Recruits literally all of these areas very well.

-Larry Johnson, Greg Studwara, Tony Alford (Ohio St.).  No one recruits Ohio better than these 3.  Johnson’s a PSU guy.  Studwara’s an LSU guy.  Alford’s a Notre Dame guy.  All were hired by the former HC.  If they want to steal Mattison..  open up your wallets.

-Mike Elson (Notre Dame).  Michigan man, and a great recruiter.

-Anthony Campanile.  Seems to be doing a pretty good damn job recruiting the northeast thus far.

-Mike Kafka (Kansas City Chiefs QB coach / former Northwestern QB).  Seems to be pretty damn good.

-Charles Huff (Alabama).  Formerly an outstanding recruiter in the region with Penn St.

-Kerry Coombs (TEN Titans, DB).  Urban’s best Ohio & Indiana recruiter.

-Mike Hart (Indiana).  Outstanding recruiter.

-Jeff Quinn (Notre Dame).  Outstanding recruiter and OL coach.

-Harry Hiestand (CHI Bears, OL).  Another.

That’s just off the top of my head.  I’m sure Venables’ll have his own guys.  But there are outstanding MW/NE recruiters out there to be taken.

Harbaugh’s ability to hire…

Harbaugh’s ability to hire good assistants........ is what on a scale of 1 to 10 now?

Drevno..  Pep..  Gattis..

The title of the post begins…

The title of the post begins *IF*, correct?

The first sentence is “i hope we turn things around”, correct?

what are you, an English major?

the overwhelming response…

the overwhelming response from this fanbase is.......

”i’m not happy and i want an elite fictional coach who was raised by bo schembechler.”

this fanbase, if you haven’t noticed..  is among the very least intelligent, by and large, when it comes to football/reality.

Do you have a coach idea…

Do you have a coach idea with no “probably’s and assumptions”???

You see the future 20/20??

????

some of you ppl..........     just.  un.  believable.

Is that a person with a name…

Is that a person with a name????  your idea??

what do you base any of this…

what do you base any of this on??

it is absolutely astonishing how well some of you can read minds and know for certain things of which there is absolutely zero evidence to support.

PS -- Everyone who didn't…

PS -- Everyone who didn't like the Venables idea..  what's your better idea?

--Should we advance medical science a couple hundred yrs, clone a genius HC, transplant his brain into Harbaugh's head and then somehow convince him to stay at UofM?

--Should we hire that Pastor/Head football coach, with tons of Head coaching experience, Michigan/Midwest/BigTen ties, championships under his belt, a roladex of former 5-star signees, Mike Leach's offensive mind, Nick Saban's defensive mind, no history of ever working for any program that has even once been rumored to cheat ever and zero interest in the NFL?

Why is working in the Big10…

Why is working in the Big10 necessary?  Do you realize how insane that is?

"Tell Belichick to f*k off and stop calling us please!"

That's great that you say…

That's great that you say that.  That's why I said one of Clemson's co-OC's would be a great first hire.

Oklahoma's prolific offense scored 34 pts against Bama in the CFP last yr.  Clemson scored 44 against them the next wk...  while also holding them to 16 and WINning the game.
