Representing the Maize and Blue in section 104!

I hope the prices come down…

I hope the prices come down. Flights and hotel booked, but I’m thinking they come down a bit with the Texas loss. If anyone has tickets, I’m interested sldave84 @ gmail

Got rolled up on. I was at the game and you could tell his Michigan career was over as soon as you saw his leg. Gruesome. Sucks so bad for him, hope he makes a full recovery.

I think the biggest thing…

I think the biggest thing that the expanded playoff does, in addition to the portal and NIL do(in theory) is allow for the talent pool to be less concentrated. The reasoning for this is that with more teams able to get into the playoff you don’t have to go to one of 4 or 5 top tier schools to have a shot at a natty. Remains to be seen if it works out this way and we have more parity in college football finally.

Thank you for your sacrifice

I brought my jersey and same…

I brought my jersey and same tshirt down with me to Aruba to sweat my ass of in while they win! Left the scarf that I bought before The Game in 2021 though so blame me if Michigan loses today

I’m looking for 2 - 4…

I’m looking for 2 - 4 (2 pairs would work also)tickets for the B1G championship game. I am in metro Detroit so I am able to meet in person if that is preferred. Email is [email protected] or 248-974-9312. Go Blue!

As a season ticket holder I…

As a season ticket holder I kind of hate this record. I wish we would provide a better fan experience and put in actual individual seats. The 16 inches of space for each seat makes games a very uncomfortable experience to the point that I am more comfortable standing the entire game. We could put in decks at the north and south and still hold the record I’m sure

When I got my season tickets…

When I got my season tickets 5 years ago they were in section 14, three rows above the walkway. My experience was the same as yours, a bunch of old timers that would never stand, coupled with the fact that the visiting fans were directly behind us, made for a time. Last year we upgraded to section 15 and 20 rows closer. Now we stand nearly the entire game(big games) and it is wayyyy more enjoyable. Not sure how people can’t get into it against OSU or MSU

I understand no one forces…

I understand no one forces me to go there and that is why I really haven’t much, I was just expressing a different view point. To be fair though, the site is dead because the writers or former head of Deadspin decided to use the nuclear option rather than keeping their well paying job because they think that inevitably they will lose it by getting replaced by lower paid writers(even if correct). I think also, the “private equity” term shades the conversation as well. If a single buyer came in and wanted to make changes that they thought would be best for the site and the writers disagreed I have a feeling there would be less vitriol around this situation

Could just be a difference…

Could just be a difference of opinion between you and I, but that’s fine. Having actual commentary on what is happening in sports, similar to the site we are on right now is different than ESPN, and to me that is appealing. What is not, again this is for me, is the political stuff that is put in there. It is one of the same reasons I have a hard time following some of the mgoblog peeps on twitter cuz that tends to come out a lot. Politics in America are incredibly divisive in 2019 so I like having sports as an escape from that. It’s frustrating when it is brought up from sources that I don’t seek out for that type of commentary. Again, that’s just my opinion, but I have a feeling there are a lot more that feel similar

So correct me if I’m wrong,…

So correct me if I’m wrong, but wasn’t Deadspin purchased because the Gawker-Hulk Hogan lawsuit bankrupted the parent company? With that being the backdrop, the private equity firm would be coming in, buying the company at rock bottom prices, and trying to get it moving in a profitable direction so they can sell it for a nice profit.

I don’t understand the narrative that the new owners were trying to run it into the ground as that is the opposite of what a PE firm tries to do. They were trying to get the divisive content out of the site to be more appealing to larger masses. I am one of the potential readers that didn’t visit the site because of all the political stuff

Thanks for sharing this,…

Thanks for sharing this, very cool story. It's nice that they are donating part of the proceeds to a charity, but it would be even cooler if they set up a scholarship fund for the kid as well. Seems like he could use it in the future

Those girls don't look like…

Those girls don't look like disease-ridden hookers. They look like hot ass sorority chicks. They would be all over a 5* recruit just like hookers anyway

Thank you for this…

Thank you for this articulate response. My thoughts exactly

We have a lot more protected…

We have a lot more protected positions which I think helps us have a more consistent future ahead, where as Florida could bump up to 40 or down to like 18 with a bad night

Yeah, it was a good night…

Yeah, it was a good night overall. The way it is set up just makes it tough to tell what the true odds are each night because of the weighting of the stars as I understand it. I haven't been on the discord so I may be missing some stuff

You have to click on the…

You have to click on the spot on the map(in this case UMass) then click the team logo for the second to last day(Day 50 since today is 51). It's a little confusing the first time

Been playing the past month…

Been playing the past month almost daily and still don't understand how the bad RNG results happen as often as they do. Good night overall, but OSU picking up UMass after looking at the amount of UM rolls is mindboggling

Looking for 4 lower bowl tix Looking for 4 tickets lower bowl near Michigan section if anyone has extras to sell. [email protected]
This is a really delusional take

To say that we don't care about MSU after we have lost 8 of 10 is ridiculous. The poster above has it right. The own us the last 10 years, bad breaks/luck or not. Attitudes like this from fans, former players, etc add to the motivation MSU has as Dantonio excels at motivating due to the disrespect card. Treat them like the threat they are to us every year, or we will keep getting upset in games we are favored in vs them.

You aren't alone I'm in section 14 just above the walkway. Below that everyone stands on big defensive plays. I was shocked how many times on Saturday I would look to either side or behind we would be the only ones standing on third down stands in the 4th quarter. It seems there are a lot of passed down season tickets that people keep cuz their parents or grand parents has them, but they don't have any/much passion
Having been to DCFC games..

..I can say that while there are a lot of passionate fans(some of my closest friends go all the time), many of the people that go to the games go for the same reason people go to Tigers, Wings, Lions, etc. games....the experience. A large portion of the north guard has no clue what the hell is going on in the game because they are so busy doing the chants and songs, but that can be fun for them. There is a large hipster feel to the demographic which I think is why you see such opposition to an MLS team. Things are cool when not many people do it, but once it's mainstream it's no longer cool. MLS in Detroit wouldn't make DCFC go away, as someone mentioned before, it would actually increase opportunities for players, make the club better.

The man took his sister go karting for God's sake What else does Harbaugh have to do to close the deal?
Harbaugh is definitely creative with recruiting This is just another example of him impressing recruits and getting himself trending on social media again
