Greatest Defensive player I…

Greatest Defensive player I have seen at Michigan during my time as a fan

Oh for sure, I wish I had…

Oh for sure, I wish I had the talent to get into the music school. That school definitely gets the best of the best students.

Did not know this! Exactly…

Did not know this! Exactly the type of response I was looking for. Michigan really is unique for the sheer amount of outstanding departments and programs it has to offer.

Like, if if you didn’t get…

Like, if if you didn’t get into Harvard and you’re only looking to validate your vanity at the Uof M, what degree would you get?

>And Cade deserved a shot

>And Cade deserved a shot

Cade got his shot….

Like, I’d get the argument if you mean Harbs did Cade dirty by knowing the outcome but stringing along Cade anyways. But you change the tune immediately when you suggest he gave Cade bad plays and didn’t let him shine, which is complete bogus.

Johnny Manziel couldn’t run…

Johnny Manziel couldn’t run like shoelace. I dunno, I’m no sports analyst but I don’t think I’ve seen an electric runner in Denard’s vein ever since.

There really isn’t a…

There really isn’t a regression. Cade is innately risk averse and conservative. He looks to take the safest option possible on every play. Whether it’s throwing at a certain angle so that it’s not intercepted but also not easily caught, check downs, not running, overthrowing the ball on long routes so that it has no chance of being intercepted, at least.

Not throwing interceptions and keeping the offense on the field was what the team needed. Now that JJ is looking Johnny Manziel, he’s being forced to go out of his comfort zone, make plays with his arms and legs which something he visibly can NOT do at JJ’s level. He’s competing against a guy with Denard level electricity, something that is not him at all.

My friend, you’re not a…

My friend, you’re not a coward AT ALL. You spoke up, you rock. I imagine it’s your first time dealing with these types of transgressions. You will learn how to best deal with them in due time.

How many times a day do you…

How many times a day do you use a racial slur on someone and call them a snowflake for getting offended? Five, ten?

I’ll buck the trend here and…

I’ll buck the trend here and say that unless you’re comfortable with this becoming more widespread, confrontation is necessary. I’m not saying you need walk up to them and start banging heads but some sort of action needs to be done to call these people out because while you say monkey chants and racial epithets are common in sporting events and sports bars, I had never seen something like that 5-10 years ago.

Bigotry is a cancer and it spreads like wildfire and takes over otherwise good people and gives them free reign to hurt unsuspecting others without they themselves realizing the repercussions of their actions until it’s too late.

If people don’t speak up, if people don’t humiliate Nazis in public, you run the risk of tacitly approving such sentiments and allow them to fester. Fair enough if you feel physically vulnerable enough at a bar to even shout at them, but at some point you have to be involved in this fight in an aggressive manner.

Thank you for sharing this story OP, and I’m not criticizing your actions or suggesting a physical ‘fight’ is what’s needed or that I would have the guts to do what needs to be done. I just think that, yes, aggressive confrontation is needed.

It's beginning to dawn on me…

It's beginning to dawn on me just how fucked up of a move adding USC/UCLA is turning out to be. Cal might legitimately cut their football program, and then be forced to cut their non-revenue programs. I really hope they join the BigTen.

Oh god, my sincerest…

Oh god, my sincerest apologies to Adrien for constantly mixing up his name with a congressperson.

The 'mis-management' is…

The 'mis-management' is incidental. No body could have predicted Johns would regress year after year or, hell, that he would go from a NCAA tournament starter to Division II level preformer in less than a year. Diabate was a mouth-watering prospect that no program would refuse.

The cupboard was left bare with Zeb Jackson not having figured things out and Devin Nunez being just a body.

The staff made the sweet 16, and had a top 20 offense all season. Yes, it is probably the best coaching staff in the Big Ten. They are damn good, sorry. If you think this says more about how bad the rest of the coaches in the BIG are, then so be it cause yeah, they fucking blow.

In Madison.

At home in Wisconsin.

I struggle to think of a…

I struggle to think of a worse venue aside from Penn State. Northwestern and Nebraska have more exciting atmospheres than we do.

Fuck the downvotes, it's a…

Fuck the downvotes, it's a legitimate question to ask this fanbase. Thanks for attending the games.

k

ok dweeb we get it

literally the entire United…

literally the entire United States is built by slaves and on the remains of dead Natives. By comparison, Mao only killed landlords.

Total condemnation, anything…

Total condemnation, anything and everything short of taking down his statue and renaming Schembechler hall. Such sacrifices our alumni have made...

>No where did I suggest…

>No where did I suggest support for corporate greed.

Literally very thing you said before this sentence suggests so, as well as the fact that you probably need to learn a little more about economics.

How about don't arm Nazis…

How about don't arm Nazis against Russians in Ukraine and not treat Latin immigrants as in incursion, maybe you activists can dissuade the US government from doing that instead of directing your ire towards China.

Maybe protest the injustices…

Maybe protest the injustices happening in your own backyard, by actors your own tax dollars support before virtue signaling about China.

the contradictions are clear…

the contradictions are clear if you're a desperate racist shithead

>Pretty nauseating when Coke…

>Pretty nauseating when Coke, NBA, etc. give us their moral pontifications about racism

How is it remotely the same thing to cater to a domestic audience far more effected by anti-black racism than the concerns of an ethnic group in a far away land? You can blame Lebron and all your favorite black athletes for 'feigning' outrage over the murders of black people but let's be totally fucking honest here, your disingenuous, bad faith arguments in favor of an ethnic group you really don't give a fuck about are just an attempt to discredit one civil rights movement that's far closer to your own home.

>Given China's ongoing…

>Given China's ongoing genocide of the Uyghur people and other human rights abuses

How about the Yemeni genocide by US backed Saudi Arabia? Or the genocide of Palestinians by Israeli military forces that directly receive your money via taxes? What about the thousands upon thousands of Central American children held up in camps along the US border? Or the countless Latin American countries destabilized by US intervention and regime change? What about the CIA literally funding ISIS by proxy through the Syrian rebel army? Let's get ugly, what about the centuries of racial violence in this country?

I'd take your concerns seriously if you did jack shit to address the atrocities perpetrated by the country you live and pay taxes in but nah, let's just push more military aggression and hawkishness across the pond against the world's largest countries. More armed Nazis in Ukraine, more disaster capitalism in Puerto Rico, more labor suppression at home....while I sit on my ass and don't press the on button on the TV remote because China evil.

Wilt Chamberlain, Gerd…

Wilt Chamberlain, Gerd Muller/Just Fontaine, Wayne Gretzky shit.

>I pointed out that Nazism…

>I pointed out that Nazism and white supremacy are not the same thing.

You just dialed the temperature in this thread from 10 to fucking 100000. What could you possibly be saying here? Nazism and white supremacy are absolutely analogous to one another.

>BTW, your last sentence…

>BTW, your last sentence seems straight out of 4chan and reflects nothing whatsoever that I wrote.

That is absolutely rich coming from the same person who said this in reference to Brian a few posts above.

Get the fuck away from it if you're going to be just another whiny asshat..."

Stop listening and stop…

Stop listening and stop reading his writing. Maybe go pay someone to write content about Michigan football with opinions you agree with.

Just a tremendous amount of whining over hearing opinions that reflect the thoughts of a significant portion of the fanbase. This has little to do with Brian’s personal problems and everything to do with you and your ilk being entitled children. Get over yourself and quit bitching.

It seems crazy to say but…

It seems crazy to say but Borges is probably the best/most talented coordinator we’ve had in the past 10 years (jury’s stilll out on Gattis).

A lot of the issues fans seemed to have with Borges came down to the failings of the head coach but the man had great game plans against OSU and managed the transition from Denard and Gardner perfectly. Or maybe my memory is failing me.

Cade has 5 touchdown passes…

Cade has 5 touchdown passes in 7 games.

They deserve it.

They deserve it.

Right? If Iowa's defense is…

Right? If Iowa's defense is as great as they say, is Purdue's offense secretly one of the best in the country? They were *zipping* the ball around the field, their QBs were dropping dimes at will. Iowa's defense made Sean Clifford look like a true valuable player, they can't be that good.

They looked like dogshit in…

They looked like dogshit in their own stadium. Ok, the offense self-destructs on a whim but that 'vaunted' Iowa defense played like it was facing the Drew Brees led New Orleans Saints. Just by eye test alone, after witnessing them fall ass backward into the finish line after PSU's backup QB played worse than a peewee football player, I think they should be in the 20's If not unranked.

Tuttle is one of the most…

Tuttle is one of the most god awful QB's I've ever seen. Rolling out of decent pass protection, throwing into triple coverage, shovel passing into three defensive. People are going to rail on the play calling but just trash decision making from a redshirt junior grad student.

I will never log off.

I will never log off.

Yeah, even if Inwas being…

Yeah, even if the comment was tongue in cheek, I don’t think what I said was really far from the truth

We’re married, you idiot.

We’re married, you idiot.

nuh uh

nuh uh

We will never defeat Ohio…

We will never defeat Ohio State. We have things to do, other rivals to play, other sports to be excited for while these motherfuckers are literally laser focused on Michigan football, silently staring at us in the dark with their dicks in their hand. It’s creepy, sure, but we will never catch them sleeping the way other teams manage to do.

>"There was a graphic a few…

>"There was a graphic a few years ago about their record against their "Academic Rivals" which, iirc, was Duke and Northwestern.

Does ND actually think they're a better school than Michigan?

love Tim McCormick but in…

love Tim McCormick but in that recent podcast, is it just me or did they completely forget to talk about about Caleb Houstan. They went through the senior players in Part 1, and then covered all the freshman in part 2….but completely forgot to talk about Caleb Houstan lol

I remember him being really…

I remember him being really friggin good. Maybe it's just because those 2008-2009 teams were so putrid that every half decent player looked like a good to me but I can't remember him every gaining less than at least a yard even on those crappy Olines.

I don't know if it's pure…

I don't know if it's pure nostalgia seeing as how I became an M fan in 2009 but Brandon Minor looked like one of if not the best Michigan running back in the past 2 decades when fit.

It's a pity injuries completely derailed his career but I distinctly remember one play wherein he trucked over an Iowa DT, rolled over on top of him, and then kept running.

Anyone share my opinion or are my college memories of Mich football during its dark ages playing tricks on me? I also thought Brandon Graham was the best defensive player this program has had since I started watching don't @ me.

>So being a billionaire…

>So being a billionaire involves feeling like you have to cover-up crimes for your subordinates, cheat on your wife, fake medical conditions,

A billionaire’s conscience would consider itself lucky if that were the only list of moral failings it had to deal with. And Urban is probably far more accomplished and talented than most failson billionaires.

Defending B1G Champions with…

Defending B1G Champions with 3 starting caliber players returning and the number 1 freshman class in the country.

Yup, pure stroke of luck.

I see we’re going the Arsene…

I see we’re going the Arsene Wenger route of recruiting lol

Lol you've got nothing

Lol you've got nothing

Also, you reference pro-BDS,…

Also, you reference pro-BDS, but you ignore the “anti-Semitic” Portion of what I wrote

What are you even suggesting here? That I'm some anti-semitic bigot who condones any alleged acts of anti-semitism that might have occurred within the University?

There's a reason why politics is not involved in this board and you're blatantly breaking those rules. Your OP was purely bait, admit it.
