Better than BoB but I'm not…

Better than BoB but I'm not sure how Chip Kelly fits with Will Howard.

People develop and change…

People develop and change their views. Crazy.

Next year's offense has so…

Next year's offense has so many returning players it would be insane to leave now.

Stetson Bennett is an…

Stetson Bennett is an average quarterback playing for the #1 team. The first real defense they faced lit his ass on fire.

Give Harbaugh a 1-year…

Give Harbaugh a 1-year contract every year.

Establishment doesn't suit him. He's an animal when there's something to prove.

Flawless domination.

Flawless domination.

He did a good job. He won…

He did a good job. He won the media award and the coaches award so it's not some big conspiracy.

Wow I forgot this guy…

Wow I forgot this guy existed. Last time I heard his name fondue was exploding in his face or something. Meh.

This has to be an all-time…

This has to be an all-time defensive performance. I wouldn't have guessed in my wildest dreams that Michigan would hold Ohio State to 64 yards rushing on 2.1 YPC. Have we ever shut down their run game like this before?

Here.

Here.

Bo Nix is the second coming…

Bo Nix is the second coming of Tate Forcier.

He can't throw touchdowns.

He can't throw touchdowns.

Yeah, that's the problem.

Yeah, that's the problem.

Year 7. QB can't hit open receivers.

Pope thought he was supposed…

Pope thought he was supposed to be running on to the field for a defensive series, but he was waved off by Teradja Mitchell and then Pope threw a complete tantrum. The senior from Dinwiddie, Virginia threw his gloves into the stands, took his jersey off and was inconsolable.

Pope appeared to get in a fairly heated exchange with Ryan Day and linebackers coach Al Washington. Team captain Kamryn Babb and Javontae Jean-Baptiste tried to calm him down, but Pope was irate and was eventually escorted to the locker room by director of player personnel C.J. Barnett.

Project much?

Project much?

There's no we. I haven't…

There's no we. I haven't posted on this board in over a month.

They weren't happy. They…

They weren't happy. They were indifferent.

Who is we? I never said that.

Who is we? I never said that.

This team has terminal Hoke…

This team has terminal Hoke energy. They're flat. No one believes in the offense or the coaching staff.

It's the same feeling I got watching the last years of Rex Ryan and Mark Sanchez. The offense goes 3-and-out so many times you don't even get mad anymore; there's just an expectation that they'll gain 4 yards and punt followed by a collective sigh from everyone.

The way the defense…

The way the defense celebrated after the fumble said it all.

"We won the game! ...Ehh."

*shrug*

Rutgers is RichRod 3-0. They…

Rutgers is RichRod 3-0. They look good because they play hard and beat tin cans. They're not actually good.

Serious 2013 Akron vibes…

Serious 2013 Akron vibes from this one. This is what year 7 looks like?

He was extremely entitled…

He was extremely entitled and never competed hard. Everywhere he went he expected the job to be given to him based on nothing more than his star rating.

I believe the team decides…

I believe the team decides who gets a ring.

OU, sure. Texas, wtf?

I…

OU, sure. Texas, wtf?

I guess I don't see the need to add a fallen from glory, hasn't won in decades program when the SEC already has UT, Arkansas and Ole Miss.

RIP to the troll legend.

RIP to the troll legend.

Frank Clark is the last…

Frank Clark is the last person who should be carrying a firearm. He's impulsive and can't consider negative outcomes that his actions may lead to.

He's more likely to shoot someone in a road rage incident than he is to use his weapon for a legitimate reason.

Corporate leanings?

Corporate leanings?

Maybe I'm too much of a…

Maybe I'm too much of a cynic but after the last 15 years of university scandals the idea of a school hiring an "independent" law firm is a huge joke. These schools should not be allowed to hire their own investigators to investigate themselves.

It's like the NFL funding concussion research or Big Tobacco studying the effects of smoking. A PR move with no purpose besides finding a way to save the school's financial ass.

The Brandon emails killed…

The Brandon emails killed this blog for a few years.

Him posting every thread on the board was annoying and his attempts to police the threads like they belonged to him was also very annoying, but when WD started swinging his newfound E-Clout to get Michigan coaches fired I decided to take a few years off from the blog. You didn't have to click on "Fire Woman's Water Polo Coach" to know it was a WD thread.

Those emails turned WD into WD™.

A lot of the WD nonsense was…

A lot of the WD nonsense was brought on by the members of this blog. Every time he did or said something weird or creepy there was always an army of chuds ready with a "leave him alone, he's just a kid" and he turned into an entitled dick like Superfan and Big Nut. If WD sneaks into Harbaugh's funeral and signs his poster it's MGoBlog's fault.

In a vacuum I might agree…

In a vacuum I might agree but this is not a circumstance of environment.

Multiple gun charges, rape allegations, heroin selling and now murder. He's a violent psychopath.

He's a heroin selling,…

He's a heroin selling, rapist, old man murderer. He needs to rot in prison for all of our safety.

I'm not familiar with…

I'm not familiar with Michigan law but he's already got 1 gun charge and one possession of heroin with intent to deliver, which I think he's still on probation for. He's going away for a long time.

Outside of those 5 All-Stars…

Outside of those 5 All-Stars, 5 All-NBA awards and a Finals MVP he had a pretty boring career.

We can't afford to pay you…

We can't afford to pay you so you'll have to do it for free. Back to the mines, peasants!

I graduated from a top-100 university three years ago; it's a racket everywhere. I paid 60 thousand a year to be taught by someone who got paid $2000 a class while the University President made 1.8 million dollars. Don't look behind the curtain or you might see something that looks like an education sweatshop.

And if a school has to cut football who gives a damn? Why should they get a luxury item they can't pay for? We could kill two birds! Now I don't have to see ads for the Shitstain Bowl featuring SW Missouri State and a team that won 4 games. Double win!

Seriously. You're telling me that college football bleached all of its culture and tradition in exchange for a corporate sponsorship on literally everything and suddenly no one can find they wallets?.

These refs suck.

These refs suck.

They're the Byzantines of…

They're the Byzantines of college basketball. Always an inch away from irrelevance and greatness at the same time.

I can't imagine any of the…

I can't imagine any of the hot names took a serious look at Minnesota. Without Marcus Carr they will finish last in the conference.

Regardless of what seed we …

Regardless of what seed we (LUC) were supposed to be they're still a 1 and we kicked their asses.

There's not even a gross…

There's not even a gross reason for keeping the physicians who did this stuff at MSU, UofM, OSU, probably every other place... Team doctors are a dime a dozen.  Just go get another one.

Larry Nassar was world-renowned.

That's good for bringing in athletes, medical school applicants, school prestige. It's always about the money.

Academia behind the scenes can be a gross place.

"Winning takes time," Lewan…

"Winning takes time," Lewan said. "One coach in three years, another coach in four years — the older guys that were recruited start to flourish, and eventually you're going to get the results.

"Things take time, things take patience. It's not my job to say who should be the coach, but in my opinion you can't find a better coach than coach Hoke and the coaches there and the strength and conditioning staff, because they care so much about the kids and care about the tradition of the University of Michigan.

"He's an awesome man. In my opinion, it wasn't fair. The best thing about Brady, not even talking about him as a coach, you couldn't ask for a greater individual. People might say to that, 'Well, we care about wins.' But great things take time. He was gonna get what you want eventually, but you had to be patient. I feel for him."

-Taylor Lewan on the firing of Brady Hoke

Is he blackballed from the…

Is he blackballed from the league? 4 division titles, 5 winning seasons and he can't get a call from the Jets?

And if a frog had wings it…

And if a frog had wings it wouldn't bump its ass when it hopped. All the hot girls and bombdotcom parties in the world can't make up for Arizona being a 3rd rate program.

Hannibal had a smaller army…

Hannibal had a smaller army that was incredibly diverse; a Swiss army knife of different types of units that had years of experience fighting together and could be deployed any way needed to counter an opponents strengths, led by a generational genius who could maneuver them in ways that we still talk about today.

The Roman army at Cannae was an inexperienced behemoth led by glory-seeking fools who thought their name was worth something on the field. All it could do was go SMASH and everyone knew it.

Much like collapse of the German army at Stalingrad the Roman army did not protect their flanks adequately, instead choosing to deploy their extra men in the middle and left the below-average Roman cavalry and both Consuls to face Carthaginian cavalry that was among the best in the world.

Almost immediately the Roman wings were routed and chased from the field, leaving a lumbering and leaderless mass of humanity to be sucked into the trap, surrounded and destroyed.

When they lined up for the…

When they lined up for the 4th and Goal a chill ran down my spine. I shuddered as my mind reached into a deep and dark chasm, returning with long forgotten nightmares of late-stage Al Borges.

His khakis were cast in…

His khakis were cast in bronze and worshipped at the altar before he coached a game. He became his own legend everywhere but on the field.
